'Best Detailed/Well Drawn' Anime and Manga

The art is SOOOOOOOO consistently beautiful...not just the cover art or chapter pictures, but every single last frame.

And Vampire Knight. I have to say VH because it is my favorite anime/manga, and I do think the art is beautiful :]

I third the brilliant people who nominated Naoki Urasawa. Urasawa is my manga god.

Other amazing manga art would have to be Vagabond (Takehiko Inoue's works are truly brilliant).

for animes i would consider xxxHOLIC because the characters are drawn differently from most animes and anything by clamp C:

I would say the best detailed ... mm any of CLAMP's works. I don't prefer their style, but it's definitely most detailed.

5 Centimeters Per Second (movie) has amazing animation. It's very crisp and clear! I definitely recommend it for people addicted to visuals.

For anime I pick Ouran Host Club and Vampire Knight.

The manga I've read with the best art is Otoyomegatari. The detail is absolutely amazing!

The amount of ink detailed onto one page could equal half the average manga book.
