Secret’s Sunhwa on-air stupidity gets netizens angry

Invincible Youth’s Sunhwa from the girl group Secret has been dumbing herself down on the show to develop her own special character and grab some more airtime.

Though fans found it endearing at first, they think it’s getting a bit overboard.

In the most recent episode of the show, Sunhwa showed off the fact that she has been studying a lot. Then Kim Shin Young told her to prove it.

The idol said that IT (Information Technology) stood for the Internet. She then continued that the FTA (Free Trade Agreement) was FIFA (soccer association).

Kim Shin Young then said, “Who yelled, ‘I don’t like the communist party!’?” Sunhwa didn’t even answer the question but rather said, “Doesn’t everyone hate that?”

Kim Shin Young also asked her who created Children’s Day. Sunhwa randomly said, “Woman~”

Netizens commented, “Does she think a program is a joke? How could you not know Bang Jung Hwan, the person that created Children’s Day? That’s ridiculous.” and “She went beyond stupidity and looked like she didn’t like her country.”
