Yes one from 1996-1997 Direct download links availableThis is my first time creating the topic here so i apologize that this thread doesn't have pictures or anything of the sort. If i made a mistake, please let me know.

I found a site that contains low quality raws of the drama, all 66 eps.

I'm not sure if i'm allowed to post the drama links for it on here or not (If i will be allowed to post drama links on here, please let me know), but all you need to do is to register on that site. I'm hoping that with the raws available, then some kind souls can sub or provide the subs for the series for those who can't speak Korean.

I didn't upload the drama, that credit goes to domoto from lets-look.com and i can't speak Korean even if my life depended on it, so i can't sub the series sorry to say.

I got permission to post the download links from lets-look.com I'm not sure if i am allowed to post direct downloads or not. Will someone please let me know? If I am not, my sincere apologies in advance.

Summary:
Choi Soo Jung has the role of the older brother of Bae Yong Joon in a drama that gives us the impact of having love for the first time. He plays the role of Sung Chan Hyuk who is gifted with artistic talent. Bae Yong Joon plays the character of Sung Chanwoo, who gives in his secret first love to his older brother and tries to become "a seed ofthewheat" by sacrificing himself for the family’s happiness instead of going after his own ambition.

I LIKED THIS DRAMA! :)

i think many people doesnt know because its pretty old...

but i still see in Korean cable TV and enjoy watching it :)

I have a question regarding this drama, I'd seen this in kbsworld last year or last last year but I don't understand the ending did Sung Chan-hyuk end up with his first love (I forgetten the girl's name), cause park sang min drive her to chan hyuk to places tosee and prevail his true condition to her. The girl saw him painting beside the river. so did they end up together or will she still marry park sang min after seeing chan hyuk condition? or was it an open ending?

i'm hoping someone can share the subs winniesuzette. Few years back from posts on d-addicts, many people offered to share the subs, but no luck as you can tell. I can't directly translate the drama from Korean. If this drama had russian subs or something i can make an attempt at tranlasting it, but i doubt that it does. I can also sort of read Japanese and i have a Japanese dictionary and i can also try to make attempt with Japanese, as long as a kind soul can give me a link to the Japanese subs. THanks for responses everyone!

i'm surprised to see this thread. i never thought that it's been here since june. thank you for creating one. geez, thanks to domoto to for uploading all episodes in MU. you're amazing! i've seen this drama and i really like it [as you can see i'm a byj fan]. if i'm not mistaken up until today FL has the highest rating with 65.8% rating amongst all korean drama.

Here are few info and data about the drama extracted from happiebb's blog.

First Love had a first class cast, other than our Yong Joon,

the cast included Choi Soo Jong, Park Sang Won, Lee Seung Yeon and others.

They were all the reigning kings [and queen] of TV drama then.

I remember Fumi mentioning in his earlier series

that Choi Soo Jong was indeed the superstar of the mid 90s.

I suppose that’s why he’s supposedly the No. 1 male lead

and Yong Joon the No. 2 in First Love.

Another point worth mentioning is that model-turned-actress Choi Ji Woo

was a relative newcomer at that time,

and First Love was instrumental in making her recognizable and popular

First Love enjoyed unprecedented and unmatched success.

It first aired on 7th Sep 1996

and for the eight months until it ended its run in April 1997,

the drama was practically a winner throughout.

With a high viewership of 37.1% for the very first episode,

it held the throne as the most-watched drama amongst all dramas

from all three TV stations for a continuous five months.

The drama was all of 66 [or 61?] episodes,

and out of these, 50 episodes achieved viewership of over 50%.

During its final episode on 20th Apr 1997,

it broke all records and achieved an astonishing 65.8%.

A record that’s still unbroken today.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH SVETA. I've been looking for the thread previous weeks ago since First Love was encored. I did not lost hope that somebody will open so this is it. Most of the main cast are still very popular and successful now a days. I watched their latest drama but only in KBS WORLD because that's the only cable TV I have. Bae Yong Jun is more handsome today than 13years ago.

KBS drama 'First love' shows an audience rating of eye-opening 2% level in Japan

Airing Date : 2005-04-07

KBS drama 'First love', which was aired for the first time by means of Japan NHK satellite channel on Mar. 31, showed an audience rating of 2% level in its first broadcast rarely for foreign dramas.

Such a program rating of Korean drama 'First love' is an exceptional result in a reality in which foreign drama on the air in NHK satellite channel right now, is difficult to exceed ordinarily a popularity rating of 1%.

Korean drama 'Winter Sonata' also, which heated the TV audience in Japan last year, was no more than a popularity rating of 1-2 % level in NHK satellite channel at the opening part of the drama.

KBS Global Strategic Team said that a program rating of drama 'First love' on that day was 2.4%.

Korean drama 'First love' was drawn up on 11:00 p.m. in the evening every Thursday. In NHK satellite channel, MBC drama 'Daejanggeum' is on the air on 10:00 a.m. in the morning prior to this.

A PD responsible for the drama's oversea marketing at KBS, said, "He understands that NHK decided the drama's broadcast as the TV audience's response becomes higher," adding the broadcasting station's drama 'First love' was aired two times through Japan NTV's satellite channel and drama special satellite channel 'Satellite theater' last fall.
