Yes, we know he's doing military service, but as long as we're daydreaming, we might as well put this out there. Song Joong Ki will be discharged in May 2015 (Only seven more months—but who's counting?), and hopefully we can see him headlining a new drama shortly after his release. While we're at it, we should also mention  Yoo Seung Ho, who will be discharged in December of this year, and Lee Min Ki, who only started his military service a few months ago, which makes us sad because we already miss his talent in dramas.

Some Running Man members (Song Ji Hyo, Kim Jong Kook, Ji Suk Jin, Lee Kwang Soo, and HaHa) came to Jakarta, Indonesia, to have Running Man Race Start Season 2 fan meeting. Jakarta- On May 2011, Song Joong Ki decided to leave 'Running Man'. Until now, 'Running Man' has never added new member to replace Joong Ki's position.The members said that they never thought to add new member. Those thing was said by Ji Suk Jin on the press conference in Kuningan region, South Jakarta, on Friday (24/10/2014). "Actually we never think to add new member. But if we have the chance, we want Song Joong Ki to be back on 'Running Man'. Because he used to be the member," he said."But the problem is, maybe Song Joong Ki is the one who doesn't want to (be back on 'Running Man')," joked Kim Jong Kook with a laugh.Joong Ki is now taking hiatus from entertainment since he's on active military duty for 21 months. He officially enlisted since August 27th 2013 and will finishes his enlistment on May 26th 2015.

Ki Aile Korea posted a new message on their Facebook page today. So they will be having a Christmas project for Joong Ki oppa. Yayy ^^This is their message:

In the past, Song Joong Ki stated, “Lee Kwang Soo cries every time he drinks alcohol.”

Actor, Song Joong-ki raises income over one billion won even after joined national service, thanks to renewed contracts for TV commercials

Song Joong-ki was ranked #5 in the list of the top celebrities who benefited from serving the national army according to tvN TV show, 'E News'. Top five also includes Jang Hyeok, Sung Si-kyung, Oh Jong-hyuk, Yoon Si-yoon and Ji Seong.
Song Joong-ki decided to join the national army on August 27th, 2013 all of sudden, while he had more than 10 contracts for TV commercials thanks to the big success of 'The Innocent Man' and 'A Werewolf Boy'.
His value and popularity went up even higher after he joined the army. After the entertainment soldier system was cancelled due to the incident some of the soldiers used massage parlors while serving military, he joined the army as a regular solider for the first time among actors, singers and other entertainers alike. Because of this, he drew much attention at the time.
Contrary to his soft image, he was deployed to the Reconnaissance Corps, which is famed with intense training. The military recognized his earnest service and had him to host an event by Ministry of National Defense, which took place in China. When his photo from the event was released, people said he became even more impressive.
Song Joong-ki emerged as a sought-after celebrity for TV commercials before he joined the army. He had contracted more than 10 TV commercials including cosmetics, outdoor goods, and smartphones.
