Song Joong Ki spends time with parents on day before enlistment + will shave his hair soon

Song Joong Ki is spending the very last day before his enlistment with his parents.

His agency said, "Song Joong Ki didn't plan anything for the day before his enlistment. He's planning to spend it with his parents and family." His parents are from Daejun, but they came up to Seoul to spend time with their son and to see him off for his enlistment on the 27th.

Also, Song Joong Ki will be shaving his hair on the 27th in the morning, and then enlist at the 102nd reserve in Gangwondo, Chuncheon. 

He's still scheduled to say his final goodbye to fans by arriving at around 12-12:30 at the 102nd reserve. His agency said, "He's planning to see his fans and tell them he'll take care of himself."

Nice Guy' Song Joong-ki joins military

Actor Song Joong-ki of KBS drama "Nice Guy" will begin his mandatory military duty from today. 

Recently, he has been spending time with his family. His parents traveled to Seoul from their home in Daejeon to send off their son, according to local media reports. 

He did not schedule any official event yesterday. He will shave his head this morning in preparation for his enlistment and will then head to Chuncheon, Gangwon.

Song plans to arrive at his destination after noon and will have some last words to share with fans. It is expected that many will gather to see a final glimpse of the much-loved actor. 

Meanwhile, Song had a fan meeting two weeks ago at Sangmyeong Art Center. Over 1,400 fans from Korea and overseas, including Japan, China and France, were in attendance.

Song Joong Ki to Leave for the Army Today (8/27)

Nice Guy Song Joong Ki will be saying farewell to fans for the next two years. 

On August 27, Song Joong Ki will be enlisting in the army at the 102nd reserves in Chuncheon at 1 p.m. 

He will head to the base at around 12-12:30 p.m. to say his final farewell to his fans and press before he begins his army life for the next two years. He will be the first celebrity to head to the army after the PR unit was closed down. 

Ahead of his enlistment, Song Joong Ki has been spending quality time with his family in his hometown of Daejeon. 

On August 17, Song Joong Ki held a fanmeeting with his official fanclub, Ki Aile, where he spent time with a total of 1,400 fans from Korea, Japan, China, France, and more. He shook hands with each fan after the event. 

Song Joong Ki will return on May 26, 2015.
