Summary 1&2

Hana woke up scared after a nightmare on a rainy night, Duna who is afraid the thunder came down to sleep together with her. Mother became worried when she heard about the serial killer after the twins left for school. Si Woo who was too engrossed in his reading accidentally bumped into the school bully who is also the student head president due to the position his mom held in school. Jung Chan told Siwoo that he can only have his book back if he managed to grab back the book in his mouth. Hana takes the book away from Jung Chan and tells Siwoo to get up while Duna tried getting the teacher's help when Jung Chan threatens Hana. Jung Chan only backs away when the class bell rings. Hana gets angry when Siwoo tells her not to help him in the future as he is an unlucky person who brings bad luck instead of thanking her. But he became touched when Hana gives him a bottle of milk as his birthday present before she left with Duna. Hana saw Jung Chan fighting with the student head vice president when she was going for her PE lessons. Later, the girl jumped of the school rooftop after playing her last song and landed dead in front of Hana who fainted in shock, covered in the dead girl's blood.

Since then, Hana started seeing the dead girl everywhere and nearly got into an accident during her flower delivery with Shin Ryu after seeing visions of ghostly children. She asks Ryu if they had met before as she finds him familiar. Ryu tells that the ghosts must have appeared in front of her to tell her something and advised her to try to listen to them. Duna covered Hana's eyes when the stove caught fire.

Hana follows the VP's ghost to the place where she jumped from and found her handphone which has images of the Jung Chan and his two followers treating the VP with violence. She saved Siwoo who was locked up only in his underwear in the locker by Jung Chan when he was snooping around with his camera at the crime scene.

Hana gave Siwoo her pants when they found that his clothes are drenched in the washroom. Siwoo noticed Hana's scars on her feet. Hana phones Duna that she will be coming back later to fetch her but she forgot about it when she began to have fun and fell asleep at Siwoo's place. Duna who is tired of waiting, leaves the school after picking the things that Hana left behind but she got caught by Jung Chan's followers on her way home as they have already found out that Hana has the phone. Hana rushes to the school after getting a call from Jung Chan but she couldn't save Duna due to her phobia of fire due to a fire accident that caused the death of her friends when she was six. The ghost of her dead friend appears in front of her again causing her to breakdown when she was telling the cop that her sister had been murdered instead of it being an accident. Hana's mom began to hand out leaflets asking for clues about Duna's death. Jung Chan threw the paper out of his car window although he was shocked at first that he has caused another death. Siwoo tried to cheer Hana up and was really happy to see Ryu, his idol.

Ryu managed to arrest the serial killer with his co-workers after barely being able to survive the killer's attacks. Hana began to have an eating disorder, citing that she is feeling hungry. Hye Won tells Hana's mom that it's her way of releasing her stress. Ryu decided to help Hana after seeing the pain that she is going through, but...

The hypnosis backfired and Hana is beginning to see more ghosts at the hospital. Ryu meets up with his enemy 'Baek Do Shik' the lawyer who never lose. Duna begins her revenge on her killers

「Possessed」 off to a good start with 12.6% ratings for the first episode

MBC's summer special miniseries 「Possessed」 (script by Go Eun-nim & In Eun-ah, directed by Kim Sang-ho & Kang Dae-seon) boasted in the first episode a cinematography that relayed the horror feel well in addition to great acting by the cast, particularly rookie actress Im Ju-eun. Having captivated the viewers, the drama scored a nationwide rating of 11.5% (TNS Media) and set off to a smooth start. In Seoul they had ratings of 12.6%. According to AGB Nielson, 「Possessed」 had ratings of 11% (nationwide) and 12.9% (Seoul).

These ratings are more than double that of the final ratings for its predecessor 「Triple」, which scored 5.7% (TNS Media). This psychological thriller 「Possessed」 is clearly an object of interest to the viewers.

The first episode starts off with a prologue sequence that is a neatly condensed montage of the drama. The rest of the episode deals with the strong sisterhood between Hana (Im Ju-eun) and Duna (Jiyeon), Hana saving Siwoo (Park Geon-il) from trouble, and the criminal profiler Ryu's (Lee Seo-jin) first meeting with Hana.

A lot of viewers left messages at the official website saying that the summer heat was frightened away by the eerie images of Hana being tormented by nighmares. The student body VP's suicide scene took over a day to shoot using a specialized camera and expectedly was a well-shot sequence. Coming up is Duna's death, which leads to the possession of Hana's body. As she begins to commit one gruesome act after another using her supernatural strength, the scenes are expected to bring to the viewers even more horror.

Lee Seo-jin hinted, "Starting episode 2, the plot will kick into higher gear with a battle of wits between Ryu and a serial killer. It will be worth watching to see Ryu use Hana to fight evil, only to become immersed in it and eventually change into the villain." Lee Gyu-han makes a special appearance in episodes 2 to 4 as the terrifying serial killer.

MBC's return to a summer horror drama after 14 years is the 10-part miniseries 「Possessed」. It's about an unfair death binding the dead girl's soul to her sister, and about a criminal profiler who uses the now supernatural girl to fight evil - only to become the demon he once despised. The drama is gathering much attention for showing the typical characteristics of a summer special drama as well as having never-before-seen aspects of the genre. It airs August 5, 2009.

Finished watching ep 1 in chinese subs, seems very interesting. The opening of the first episode is pretty confusing.

Shiwoo is a bad and psychotic guy or is he a very good guy? Hmmm..... the big eyes of the lead girl really add more scary effects to the whole drama. Loving the drama. I can't wait to watch ep 2.

The ghosts part is not that scary imo, because they make the ghosts so pale with black eye, the make up is so cliche. Hahahaha~~

But still, i'm loving the mystery part. And Jung Chan..... ewww... such a creepy guy with a super creepy father.

I hope he get retribution for everything he did.
