The name of the show is in my signature Kollaboration www.kollaboration.org. It's this Saturday at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the show is sold out, so you can't get tickets. I'll keep you guys updated and get PICS!

Vietnamese director, Tran Ahn Hun who has directed the movie “Cyclo”, recently led Josh Harnett, Kimura Takuya, Lee Byung Hun, Shawn Yue and his wife Tran Nu Yen Khe to Hong Kong for some scenes for his new movie “I come with the Rain”. Some photos from the movie were recently released to public for the first time.

The movie talks about Josh who is a private detective, who comes to Hong Kong to help find a millionaire’s missing son and most of the scenes were shot in the old airport in Kowloon city.

In one of the scenes, Josh was holding a surgical knife in his hands and there was blood all over his body. In another one, the Korean representative, Lee Byung Hun was topless and both his hands were bloody and it was believed that both wanted to blood-shed in Hong Kong. There is another scene where Josh was surrounded by Hong Kong police in a garage and Tran Nu Yen Khe in bra top was lying unconsciously inside a car beside a stack of money.

In addition, Lee Byung Hun is currently in the United States shooting the movie “G.I Joe”. His character in the movie is supposed to be a Japanese ninja but Lee has proposed to change the character to Korean before he sign the contract. At present, shooting is vigorously in progress and expected to finish in June.

So.. hopefully.. more scenes.. a variety of moods and emotions will be portrayed & conveyed by BH in the movie. Although it's obvious that ICWTR is a Josh Harnett movie (looking at the two posters).. hopefully all the cast, especially the Asian stars will have considerable amount of screentime & acting performance in the final feature.

The not-so-good reply is that he does smoke in real life and quite a chain/heavy smoker, too. But he knew that fans have asked him over and over to quit or at least lessen the smoking, but so far.. he's unable to break the habit. It's also not helping that Korean men in general are among the most well-known smokers in the world.

It's a consolation though that.. perhaps due to the script, etc .. BH doesn't smoke as much onscreen when he's acting.. at least, not in the recent movies and drama series he did such as All In, Beautiful Days, Happy Together. SBS particularly has a policy of restricting smoking scenes in their series unless it's necessary (!). He might smoke (as the role calls for it) but in very limited scenes.

But.. H.. in BSL.. I thought Sunwoo doesn't smoke.. .. but as if to break the smoking, he (BH? as the character?) was always chewing gum or sweets in the movie.

Thanks Celina for the info, I must have missed the part that Sunwoo doesn't smile either.. which is so true until he met Hee-soo. But our BH.. yeah.. he definitely smokes and loves to smile a lot. :blush: Especially off-camera.. I mean off-filming, he's like the funniest and most casual & down-to-earth guy, just so friendly with fellow actors, seniors and even the production crew.

I remember the OIAS BTS clip.. that the female members of the production would talk to him quite easily, as if talking to their own brother.. which he is, of course.. in terms of age.

But.. I need to correct myself on something. I went to bed last night thinking about it and I think.. I should not have said that BH is a chain-smoker because I've never seen him in real life nor do I see him smoke continuously between takes, etc. He's obviously a heavy smoker which he had admitted himself yet it's not like that he's lighting it up .. like.. in every 5 mins. But he did continuosly smoke in two occasions that I've read about.. during the BSL poster shoot.. he had to finish up 1 or 2 (?) boxes of cigarettes just to get the perfect shot. Which he jokingly claimed that Dir. Kim was trying to poison him. And once.. he had smoked very heavily during a personal down time in his life.

But our BH is a positive person and strives to improve himself, hopefully he will eventually take a step back off the smoking habit and we will definitely encourage & support him full-heartedly.
