idoldreamer- I think I sent it on October 22nd or so. I got the first confirmation about 4 or 5 days later. I just recieved my time yesterday. Saturday at 4:30!!

xlilywhite- I'm 14! >_<

Sam-chan- Your first question has been answered. As fir the advice, thanks! I was thinking that I would wear dark jeans for it. But what about shirts? *is totally lost on the matter*

and yeahh im totally lost on what to wear too.

like i have this cute dress but idkk cuz it might be freezing cold by

Yeah... I was curious about that too. I think they made a mistake and it just was referring to what you sent online. I'm not sure. Can somebody who already went fill us in?!

Oh, and xlilywhite, yeah, I'm singing. It's probably useless (I'm probably not good enough), but at least I'm pursuing a dream!

Well anyways, still... OUTFIT! I'm going to wear dark, denim blue jeans. But a shirt! I need shirt advice!!! Ahhh!! *freaks out*

Hey, I think you had a yt video trying to pick a song. If you are confident in Japanese and you know an artist named Kotoko then you should sing Lament, by her. Its fast and not to mention one of my favorite songs by her, but that doesn't matter...heh..

Do you mean the parental consent form?

Cause that's the only thing other than the info of where and when I was supposed to go that was in the email.

The consent form was in the form of a link that led to a microsoft word document for me, but I didn't get any other application in my confirmation email. =[

Yay! I totally love this song!!! I will sing it! Did they say you have to sing the whole song? If not, I'm going to sing to the end of the first chorus (unless I can confidently memorize more).

no i have that already. i think it says somewhere that theres suppose 2 be a form sent in the confirmation

I'm gonna be singing in english. I mean I can sing in japanese, but I dun think I will be the best at it. So I'm just gonna sing in english. hehe... yeah my audition is tmr and I'm still not sure what I'm gonna wear! grr... anyways I want to know too, has anybody acted for your talent and if you did, how was it, what did you do?

For all the ppl auditioning today, good luck! and remember to share with us what happened! :)

hi you all :)

I just got back from the audition in LA

I got there a little late but I was #10

They were auditioning people one at a time.

I was really nervous.

There were about 5-10 people waiting outside.

I asked the guy taking the names and he said the judges were the same one from SF

So I signed in, got my name tag and waited to go in.

I was supposed to be the next one to go in but luckily the guy outside said #11 should go first since he'd been waiting for a long time.

I talked to the guy outside and I asked him about the auditions.

We won't know any results until about February or so since they're not going to be done with the auditions until then

We also talked about the SM auditions and he says that they're a marketing gimmick and they don't really choose people from the auditions

But anyway, when it came to my turn,

They took 2 pictures of me, one face and one body shot

After that, I went on stage and said my name, age and audition #.

I sang my song, which is In the Arms of the Angel by Sarah McLachlan

I sang until about after the first chorus so I didn't sing the whole song

But I got a good 2 minutes in though

They were smiling and nodding the entire time though they weren't as nice as I thought they were going to be.

They asked me about the languages I knew

I answered back in Chinese and Japanese

They asked where my parents were from and if I was born in America

I think that was about it...

They smiled and said thank you and that was it.

I left and yeah.. LOL

I wore a blue dress with black stockings and silver shoes

I also curled my hair :)

from what everyone is saying, it sounds a lot like a normal audition, or go see.

basically they take a couple polaroids and you wait after signing in, and then you go into a separate room with the "judges" looking at ur resume and headshot, and a camera ...watching you lol

if you're younger, i would say something cute, you have to make sure you dont have a lot of hair in your face, because thats something they need to see most

also, make sure NOT to wear any name brands or red

name brands aren't good because its as though you are advertising, and they like plain clothes

its more about you than the clothes

also, red is horrible for the camera, as it can like... glow from the camera, and its annoying to look at if they want to look at your audition!

i still would like to know if there is actually a modelling choice, seeing as they didn't have that choice on the application

one more thing about clothing

i think the best choice would be a plain tank top maybe white or black

and some skinny jeans or something,

it shows off your body line and it won't take away from you as a person :)
