They can sing, they can rap, they can dance, what can't they do! Triple threats are rare in the K-pop industry, mostly because it takes raw talent and hard work to be one! Every member in K-pop group is always assigned a job-they're either the main dancer, main vocalist, main rapper but to be all three is major! Let's take a look at the some of the triple threats who kick some major booty in K-pop!

Who can forget Rain? Rain, Korea's ultimate superstar. The man was born to entertain and though he's frolicking in lala love land with Kim Tae Hee currently, Rain has proven over the course of his career that he can do it all. Have you seen this man dance? They haven't dubbed him the Korean Usher for no reason. Also, he's got a pretty voice and his rapping skills are on par too! God really "rained" some extra talent on Rain before he was born didn't he? Bad pun? Sorry.

Actually, Rain agreed to sign a contract to work as a model exclusively for China's cosmetics brand 'Mentholatumm' for 1,672 million won in 2011

class="articletitle"Why Do K-Pop Celebrities Flock to China? Higher Pay?

"China pays 3 times the salary that Korea pays." (Tony An) "Chu Ja Hyun's salary is between about $50,000 and $100,000." (J Channel)

As many Korean celebrities travel to China for their activities, there has been an increased interest in their wages.

According to an analysis by MoneyToday's Entertainment Finances team, a top-shelf Korean star receives about $700,000 annually. Singing just three songs on air nets about $200,000 per song.

The two most expensive celebrities to employ are Song Hye Kyo and Rain. Endorsement and modeling deals with either star are about $1.4 million. Rain signed a contract in 2011 for about $1.672 million as an advertising model for China's Mentholatum Cosmetics division.

The male actors that ignited the Hallyu boom are still paid higher compared to the new Hallyu stars. Jang Dong Gun and Song Seung Hun are paid about $1.239 million for ad appearances. Ahn Jae Wook, Cha Tae Hyun, and Hyun Bin are paid about $700,000 for their ad appearances. 2PM, on the other hand, is paid about $619,000 for their appearances.

From the female actresses, Chae Rim and Lee Da Hae lead the value at about $619,000 and about $743,000 respectively. This is because these two actresses have appeared in many Chinese dramas and are actress that the Chinese audiences are familiar with. It's interesting because Korea's top star models earn about $885,000.

Chu Ja Hyun, who is currently starring in the Chinese drama "The Temptation of the Wife", and Jang Seo Hee, who is currently starring in "Heroes of the Tang and Soo Dynasties" are known to receive a much higher offer for their ad appearances, although the exact figure is unpublished. Their popularity allows them to negotiate each contract.

Among male singers who perform 2-3 songs, Jang Geun Suk gets paid the most at about $177,000, followed by Rain, Kangta, and Yoo Seung Jun with similar numbers. Among female singers, Chae Yeon and Harisu top the chart.

Chinese entertainment officials stated that, "Although not all the numbers are exact figures, it gives a hint as to the popularity of Korean entertainers in China. The figure presented always fluctuates with location and demand."

anjjo, HAPPY CHUSEOK to you & to everyone here although we don't celebrate it here in our side - hahaha. Chuseok means more time to spend with your family and eat delicious food, but also means lower than usual ratings for dramas because more people are having their TV off or tuning into the various holiday specials that air.

:))

@willenette, @anjjo, @merrycote and also anyone here... Happy Chuseok for all of you..

and @willenette, thanks for your information about what Chuseok is.. it's a special day for korean. I've imagine if Rain has celebrate it with his family and his lovely KTH, waahh i hope you have a great time Rain :)

Rain officially signs contract with Cube DCSeptember 17, 2013

@anjjo, thanks for sharing this...Rain and Mr Hong are going back together, that's smart way for them since both of them had known each other for long time, and Mr Hong knows of Rain's potential very well. I hope Cube could be able to make Rain's career will be brighter than ever...

By the way, @anjjo, do you know Netizens and haters still overreact about this new? Some of them said Rain has abandoned MBLAQ for his own benefit. What a pathetic thought, huh? if they are really Mblaq's fans then they have to realize that Mblaq is doing fine even without Rain.. they proved it well. Rain did his job as a mentor very well, I believe he's proud of his self and also of them whenever he see Mblaq's progress :)

Major K-pop agency CUBE Entertainment and Korean actors’ management firm IHQ have built a strategic alliance, taking a shot at the No. 1 global entertainment company.

CUBE Entertainment sold 50.01% of its stock for 16.5 billion Korean Won (approximately 15.1 million U.S. Dollars) to IHQ to consolidate the strategic partnership, CUBE announced in a statement Tuesday.

CUBE’s president Hong Seung-seong, the former manager to giant K-pop producer, secures his existing stake of 28% and is set to invest 2 billion Won (approx 1.8 million Dollars) to IHQ’s convertible bond by means of intensifying synergy between two firms.

Universal Music, the formerly largest shareholder of CUBE, holds 11% of CUBE’s stock, explained the K-pop agency which has been considered as No. 4 in the market following so-called Big 3 —SM, YG and JYP Entertainment.

CUBE Entertainment is a home of K-pop idols 4minute, BEAST, G.NA, BTOB and comedian Kim Ki-lee, including K-pop big name Rain in its subsidiary firm CUBE DC.

Hong Seung-seong, who had discovered K-pop talents J.Y. Park and LYn, is one of the co-founder of JYP Entertainment with singer/producer J.Y. Park in 2001, producing numerous stars such as, Rain, Park Ji-yoon, 2PM, 2AM and Wonder Girls.

IHQ’s president Jung Hoon-tak stepped into the entertainment scene as a manger of K-pop legend Cho Yong-pil, scouting and training idol group god, one of the first-generation boy bands.

Korean hip-hop musician Jay Park and rookie girl group 2EYES are currently active as IHQ’s artists, while the firm is set to introduce a new boy band this fall.

IHQ also takes charge of Korean star actors’ career including Jang Hyuk, Hwang Jeong-eum, Kim Woo-bin, Lee Sang-yeob, Lee Soo-hyuk and Lee Yubi.

Hello, Rain fans! I've taken the liberty to create a thread for Rain and Kim Tae Hee at the couples - shippers paradise. I hope that all lovers of this couple should feel free to post anything to their hearts' content there because it's more appropriate as opposed to here and Kim Tae Hee's thread. Thanks!
