Rain wants to leave Full House behind as a sweet memory

Recently, there has been talks of a Full House season 2 in the works. The article from the Herald Biz says:

Production as an Asian drama: Producers say, “We will cast at least one out of either Song Hye-gyo or Rain”

The KBS drama Full House, which aired in 2004 and earned much love not only in Korea but throughout Asia, will be producing a season 2 as a pan-Asian drama with participation from Korea, China, Japan and other countries. Full House is the drama that shot Rain to fame throughout Asia as a skilled dancer and singer.

Director Park Chang-shik of Kim Jong-hak Productions told Herald Biz on the 24th Oct 2008, “In preparation for making Full House Season 2, writer Jo Jung-hwa has worked for two years. Currently, the scripts for the first four episodes have been completed. Since Korean, Chinese, and Japanese actors will be participating, the drama will be filmed in those countries.”

Getting at least SHK or Rain to resume their roles in the drama? That would be a long shot. If i were them, i would want to move on and not revisit that old role, no matter how popular the drama has become.

What does Rain think of Full House season 2? Is he even interested in doing it?

In a recent interview, when he was asked what he thought of a sequel to Full House, his answer was "I want to leave it (Full House) behind as a sweet memory."

Although Rain acknowledges the said drama shot him from practically a nobody in Asia to super stardom, he is wise enough not to reprise the role of stubborn Lee Young Jae.

Rain attended the Mont Blanc press conference in Beijing on Nov. 7th. Rain believed accessories are more important than clothes. When he travels oversea he will take chance to shop for watches but he still haven't met the person who he should give the watch to. Rain said, "I will work hard and buy it for myself, for other? maybe my fiancee in the future! (what type of girls do you like?) girl with a clean image."

Rain had been to the Great Wall and he had good impression for China, in the album of this year there will be two Chinese songs. He said, "I predict in the future there will be many chance to promote in China, I hope to go to the hot spring." Having revealed that Rain is planning to take part in the production of a new group as a producer himself, many are interested about him becoming the next Jin Young Park (JYP). Rain never figured that his former lost family photograph took back, he was deeply moved.

One audience found out the old film and restored it to hear the news that Rain confessed he had lost his family photograph.

Singer Rain regained his lost family photograph.

He received a gift from a fan, which his family photograph put in it, on his recording of MBC "Show! Music Core" on the 8th afternoon. It left him speechless for a good while.

That was Rain's mother, father, and sister were photographed with a white snowfield for background.

Lately Rain ever spoke his mind that his house had been burnt down in a big fire at the corner of MBC "Hermit, on your knees"

One audience operating the photo studio found out the photograph, Rain's past outing with his family, after watching this TV progrm.

After this audience sought for it hard and developed, and then he sent his nephew delivery to Rain with it.

Rain gave his thanks to the fan who had sent it and he kept it well.

Korea’s Rain has been on shows lately to promote his new album ‘Rainism’, and has been revealing secrets to the public. He explained that he would suffer from claustrophobia previously when filming dramas. Further more, he disclosed that he like girls who are gentle and pure, but can be tough at the same time.

During the Beijing Olympics, Rain went to the Great Wall of China which left him a deep impression. However now, he wishes to go to the hot springs in China.

He feels that men’s accessories are more important than clothes, especially watches. Whenever he goes out, he would buy watches. Nonetheless, he has not met someone whom he feels like giving a watch to. He pointed out that he would only buy watches for the hardworking him, and if he were to give a watch to someone, that person would probably be his future wife!

Previously, Rain filmed a movie ‘Ninja Assassin’, in which he had a scene where he had to enter a coffin. After filming, he was trapped in a lift for more than 2 hours. He divulged that everyone else was fine except him, and he encountered difficulties in breathing. He felt that the lift was going to descend any moment.

He also said that he has been in a relationship for 4 times, if he meets someone who suits him overseas, he will confess to her directly. He will feel disappointed if the other party doesn’t feel the same way.

Hi prissa - thanks for sharing this. Gosh, my first time to read about his scene in NA where he had to enter a coffin. It seems that he had encountered some harships during shooting of that movie. Poor RAIN!
