On his last day ZEPPing in Tokyo, Japan, Rain made a visit to the one-year-old Korean mall K-Square Shin-Okubu (on the southeast end of Koreatown) and had a bite of Korean food at the Saikabo Seoul Madang Restaurant on the 3rd floor. He looked happy to be there (well of course, there was food!^^) and they looked all too pleased to meet him. He graciously left his autograph, and you know they will treasure that forever.

A huge thumbs up to literary and talent manager Adam Goldworm of Aperture Entertainment (also the producer for film-in-production The Prince) for 1) sharing a really cool shot of his chair on the set in Mobile, Alabama, and 2) for saying what we’ve pretty much known since “Taejo” kicked and drove his way through Speed Racer and “Raizo” sliced and diced his way through Ninja Assassin.

When Mr. Goldworm posted his picture and hashtagged the actors in the movie with the exception of Rain (unintentionally), Clouds had to jump right on that, of course. To which the producer responded, “Rain kicks all kinds of richard simmons.” LOL! To which Rain fan Peacewarriorrocker responded, “We thought the same, sir.”

Thanks, Mr. Goldworm, for making my night.

Rain joined the other members of the cast to film the upcoming Hollywood movie The Prince.

It has been reported that Rain left for America privately on November 30 to start filming on December 1.

The Prince is an action thriller movie directed by Brian A. Millier. Rain will star opposite Hollywood stars Bruce Willis, John Cusack and more, playing a cold-hearted and fearless character and engage in dangerous action scenes along with Bruce Willis.

Rain had previously made his Hollywood debut through Speed Racer and later starred in Ninja Assassins.


Meanwhile, Rain is planning to come back with a new album next January 6.

Many thanks to @CajunBH (mleonard) on Twitter for retweeting @olv's (onlocationvacations.com's) photo of the pool at the Battle House Renaissance Hotel, in Mobile, Alabama, where The Prince's production company was getting settled in and getting busy.

Filming is taking place at both the RSA Battle Tower and the Battle House Renaissance Hotel itself.  So far, this is the only photo floating around, but hopefully better photos of the production will follow soon.  Below is a professional shot of the pool you see in the photo above.

Below is a professional shot of The Battle House Renaissance Hotel itself.  Isn't is a beauty?  I wouldn't mind staying there a night or two myself.

Here's a front shot of the RSA Battle Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Alabama and on the Gulf Coast of the U.S. outside of Houston, Texas.

The two buildings are connected by a grand ballroom.  Filming for "The Prince" will be taking place in and around these two buildings for about a week.

Singer Rain is staying in the U.S. to film Hollywood movie 'the Prince' that is his first film role in five years.

 

According to official figures on the 3rd, Rain has been filming 'the Prince' in Hollywood since he went over to LA, U.S last 30th.

 

Brian Miller's action thriller 'the Prince' is Rain's first new hollywood film since his Ninja Assassin in 2009. He gets set to team with Bruce Willis, John Cusack, etc. In the film, Rain plays the role of cool-headed and intrepid 'Mark'.

 

Rain staying in Hollywood did show his excitement and excited anticipation in a roundabout way by replacing his SNS picture with a 'the Prince'-related picture after a long time.

 

The picture on Rain's Twitter released by him on the 3rd, shows 'the Prince' and 'Mark' on the door of a film trailer car.

 

Rain's agency Cube DC explained about this, "It is true that Rain is currently filming 'the Prince' in Hollywood. He'll return home after filming it in the U.S until December 4th.

 

Rain will be engaged in recording his new album after arriving in Korea on the 6th (Korean time), and thereafter, he plans to go to Hollywood again to film 'the Prince'.

Singer Rain has started filming the Hollywood movie “The Prince” in the United States.

According to his agency yesterday, the global star of the 2009 film “Ninja Assassin” has left Korea on Saturday. He will play a character named Mark, who is said to be a close acquaintance of Bruce Willis’s character.

In the action thriller, directed by Brian Miller, fans can expect to see some eye-catching action scenes by Rain, according to local media reports yesterday.

The star is coming back to Korea temporarily on Friday to work on his upcoming album. It is said that he will be traveling back and forth from Korea to the United States so that he can work as a singer and actor at the same time.

The star has previously announced that he will release a new album on Jan. 6. He is also going to be making a comeback on the small screen through a reality show on cable channel Mnet that filmed his everyday life.
