Rain’s movie ‘R2B’ will be released in August

The movie Soar: Closer to the Sun, starring Rain (Jung Ji Hoon), has had a title change to R2B: Return to Base and will be released in August.

On May 21, CJ Entertainment, co-production company, said, “We decided to release the movie, which is a sky action drama, in August.”

“The title is a military term for a soldier to return safely. The movie uses the term as their operation title. We changed the movie title to emphasize the unofficial operation from the movie.”

Director Kim Dong Won says, “The movie will make the viewers curious about the unofficial operation in the movie. And their final operation will complement the intriguing movie plot.”

Hollywood aerial experts, who worked on the movies, Dark Night and Inception, helped with the movie as well. The movie also drew a lot of attention as Rain’s last starring role before joining the Army.
