Ladies I watched the livestream of Fugitive (thanks to the instruction posted!) and let me tell you it was worth every minute we spent waiting for it. The intro was supercool, rain was AMAZING in this. he is so versatile when it comes to roles, you'll understand what I mean when you watch it. It's so perfect. Even though there were no subtitles I still very much enjoied it and got greatly entertained. I'm so looking forward to the subbed episodes and the upcoming ones

They say that when a world star changes, it is not his fault ?!

Rain pleasantly made his comeback on a TV drama after 5 years, through KBS 2TV's 'The Fugitive Plan B' aired on the afternoon of the 29th.

Rain who has been cast as the main character whose name is Gee Woo, an interantional private detective, in this drama, put on a shameless performance of the detective.

In the drama's beginning, Rain who played a fight scene between Filipino gang and him, and then in the next scene, put on a performance of Gee Woo's trying to wheedle money out of a woman, awing his listener with his florid style of speech which is near akin to gag, which made TV viewers laugh.

This kind of comic act is a new approach for Rain compared to his recent movies, Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin, and his resolution for changing his image can be felt throughout the drama.

Rain seemed to signal that his performance in this drama isn't limit to comic by breaking into tears, overwhelmed with grief when his close friend (O Ji Ho's role) was killed in a mysterious fire accident.

Also, there were some scenes where he had to take off his shirt and showed his well-muscled body here and there throughout that drama, which can be a superb eye-catcher for the viewers.

Meanwhile, the appearance of the main characters, Gee Woo (Jung Ji Hoon or Rain), Jinny (Lee Na Young), Do Soo (Lee Jung Jin), Kai (Daniel Henney), etc. was seen as an allusion to a foretaste of what's coming.

Hi bbly, like you, I also hope that RAIN could sing even 1-song for this drama but as the drama is about to start tonight I'm starting to be feeling hopeless. About his MS, we'll just wait & see where he's going to be stationed. Ye, being in the army is shorter than the rest but being there is considered as an "active service" - heavier loads than the rest. He'll start life in barracks. But, if he's stationed either in the navy or air force it's longer but lesser loads. And he really has to enter next year following the deferment granted to him. I don't think he could be granted another delay for his service when he requests for the 2nd time. About Athena, I read that this will be premiered on November yet (correct me if I'm wrong...) & not really so familiar with actors here. For Daemul, it's airing on October 6. Of course, KSW & CIP are in it. Oh, about WB, so nice to know that you were able to watch one of his movies, was that his latest? I like him - I watched all of his movies & 1-drama with SSH & SHK. About K-dramas, so far, I'm still waiting for my DVD copies from my friend in Korea so what I'm currently watching is the Taiwanese drama of Jerry Yan - I like him! But, try to watch Hyunbin's movie, "I am Happy" & "A man called God" by SIG & Road No. 1 by SJS. These are my next on-line.

Even if he would be allowed to ask for a 2nd delay, I don't think he would have done it. Whenever he goes, wherever he will be stationed, I hope that he will come back healthy and that the time passes by fast!

I’d expected high numbers for Runaway Plan B, but even so I’m surprised: 20.7% is an excellent start — hitting that number midway through would be a hit, but to get it in Episode 1 is rare. It speaks to the star power of Rain and answers the question of whether he’d be able to overcome the undercurrent of anti-fan sentiment that seems to dog him lately.

(Of course, now the question is whether the drama will be able to maintain its strong kick-off. In any case, it is positioned nicely.)

In its finale week, competitor drama My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho had a solid showing with a 16.6%, which is a little bit of a drop from last week’s 19.2%. But last week was an unusual case, with it being Chuseok week and only having one scripted drama competing for viewership (MBC’s Playful Kiss).

Speaking of which, Playful Kiss dropped back down from its temporary blip up last week, settling at 4.5%.

Now, I’ve gotta actually SEE Runaway to see if the drama merits its high numbers. It looks like it’s got the potential to be a lot of fun.

Hi Pau, oh, sorry if I made you confused..... he didn't throw it out maybe because he didn't want to look rude in front of so many Filipino fans surrounding him that time (there were some foreigners who were also there) but instead when the K-Director instructed him to take a bite of it & eat he instead took a small piece & swallowed it right away - hehehe. I don't know why they didn't include this in The Making. Right after that, I left the location so no idea if the Director took another shot of him on that same sequence. Actually, some of his staffs actually tried that food. During that time I saw him looking at them eating it & saying something to them - maybe about the kwek-kwek because he's looking to the stick....., which one of his staffs was holding.

anjjo, thanks for sharing this. What an excellent start!!! Wahhh..... we saw the shirtless RAIN already in the 1st episode. That scene alone can also bring viewers together - hahaha. I pray hard that this drama can keep up the good numbers until the Finale'. I'm sure RAIN can bring in those numbers. I’m really so happy that the pilot episode did well. Because we know that rating is really unpredictable I hope we could get to see the eng subs to be available ASAP. Most of KBS dramas are dominating this year! We'll have more of the 3 hotties in this drama as day passes by! BTW, have you seen the car-explosion? The burned-car is still in our garage in the office. Go, guys, gotta watch it! anjjo, thanks again for sharing another article. Yeeeee………. finally….. I’ve been waiting for this. Fugitive got an impressive 20.7% in viewer ratings for its first episode - especially considering Gumiho’s ending tonight. To receive such high numbers for the first episode is kind of rare - indeed really high. I know viewers had high expectations for ‘Fugitive’, especially because of RAIN aside from the star-studded cast, which made the drama more interesting. 3-hotties in this drama - how lucky is that. And that’s a good start! The name is RAIN and that’s the power of RAIN – RAIN effect! He’s hitting up the expectations! After watching the 1st episode I have to say I find RAIN here his funniest action-comedy drama I have seen among his 3-dramas. I can’t stop laughing watching him. The first episode of KBS TV series "Fugitive: Plan B" starring Korean superstar Rain has proven the hype surrounding the drama ahead of its premiere may not be hollow expectation.

Statistics released by research firms TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) and AGB Nielsen Media Research on Thursday showed that the first episode of "Fugitive" yesterday posted viewership ratings of 21.7 percent and 20.7 percent, respectively, easily outscoring its competitors in the same Wednesday and Thursday primetime time slot.

Also, while a drama is considered to be a hit when it sees ratings in the 30-percent range and is dubbed to be of 'national drama' status beyond the 40 percent mark, it is rare for even the most popular shows to record ratings in the 20-percent range for its premiere episode.

In "Fugitive," a romantic comedy investigative action series about a conspiracy involving a hefty sum of money going missing in times of the Korean War 60 years ago, Rain plays Gee-woo, a private detective at an international secret agency who is on the run after becoming pegged as the murderer of his own old friend.

The 20-part series was shot in various locations throughout Asia including China, Japan and the Philippines and features a multinational cast of Korean actors Lee Na-young, Daniel Henney, Lee Jung-jin, Kong Hyung-jin, Yoon Son-ha, Hong Kong-'s Ti Lung, China's Josei Ho, and Japanese actors Takenaka Naoto and Uehara Takako.

After watching ep.1, i can say this drama is DAEBAK, Rain really a great actor, he can mixed all the gag/funny act with serious act really well..his act is A-class, can't wait 4 tomorrow ep, hope will get higher rating than today episode..Domangja & Jung Jihoon hwaiting

2부 :: 9월 30일 목요일 밤 9시 55분.

진이의 목숨을 노린 자객단을 피해 가까스로 몸만 피한 진이는 하릴없이 일본에 있는

남자친구 카이에게 도움을 요청한다.

진이가 도망자 신세가 된 이래 헤어진 것이나 마찬가지였어도 진이를 향한 카이의 마음은 변함없다.

큰 선박사업과 로비를 통해 다져진 재력과 인맥을 통해 진이를 보호하려는 카이.

그런 카이의 제안을 받아들여 진이가 일본으로 향하는 동안, 진이를 죽이려했던 암살자들은

진이의 집에서 발견된 지우의 흔적을 쫓아 이번엔 지우까지 습격한다.

습격자들을 통해 진이가 처한 상황과 ‘멜기덱’의 단서를 잡는 지우.

덕분에 일본으로 향하는 크루저에 동승하게까지 되지만 두 사람은 여전히 서로를 믿지 못한다.

너스레와 농담을 던지며 서로를 탐색하는 애매한 분위기는 진이가 홀연히 사라지며 끝이 나고...

The second episode ---On Thursday, September 30th, at 9:55pm.

Having a narrow escape from the attacks of some assassins seeking her life, 'Jinny' (Lee Na Young) avoidably asks the favor of her boy friend 'Kai' (Daniel Henney) staying in Japan.

Even though 'Jinny' has had a relationship that is same as breaking up with him since she found herself pursued by the assassins, Kai's love for her hasn't changed.

'Kai' who tries to protect her through personal contacts built through his big shipping business and political

maneuvering.

While 'Jinny' travels to Japan, accepting Kai's offer, the assassins who tired to kill her even attack 'Gee Woo' (Rain) after finding the trail of 'Gee Woo' in her house.

Learning of her situation through the assassins, 'Gee Woo' who finds an important piece of evidence of a criminal suspect called 'Melgideck', goes to Japan in the same cruise with her, but they both still don't believe each other.

There is an equivocal atmosphere of mutual investigation between them having a joke with each other, but that situation ends as she suddenly vanishes.
