for rock...which I have some better knowledge in

Maya is awesome...

Seo Taiji is already a legend...(even from his more hiphop Seo Taiji and Boys days)

as are Jaurim(disbanded) and Kim Yoonah(the lead singer from jaurim)...

and CHERRYFILTER!!! (imo, a MUST)

People right now also like Buzz a lot for rock....I think they're o.k., but its still good to check them out.
