i really love this dorama. seen all 4 so far.

and while it doesn't have the same melodrama the original Japanese has, it's so quintessential korean it's funny. complete with a loud-mouth-bootstraps-tough chic. yay!

i didn't really watch the other version, but rather snippets of it. (the Japanese one) so I kinda wish they explained a little more about the F4 in the beginning, like the japanese version did. I know they're rich and influential, and that the main F4 is like the son of the Korean Wal-Mart woman. but so? like....what else? XD tie him to a gang or something. (maybe that's a little too japanese-y).

the other funny thing about it for me is.... how the heck Jan Di always ends up in someone's bedroom every other night like that xD ! sure, it's cute now, but homegirl should seriously get that checked up when she gets older. LOL. /sarcasm

oh my god, lol this is my first time posting in this thread so haha i'm gonna have a lot to say.

so i've always been a fan of the story hana yori dango, and i avidly watched the taiwanese and japanese version. the japanese in my heart will always be #1 but i have to say...this version is THIIIIIIS close to stealing the spot lol...we'll c wat happens after i watch all 20 something episodes

I find all the actors loveable and i gotta say...everytime that stupid kim bum smiles he makes me wanna throw myself at him lol!

i gotta give kudos to our AWEEEEEEESOME subbers who sub at the SPEED OF LIGHT.

and episode 4 has definitely been my favorite episode so far but lol after seeing the preview for episode 5 on monday...i'm FREEEEAKING OUT!

so all in all the series is <3.

btw does anyone kno what the theme song of the series is and who's it by?

who the hell is the chic singing that slow song they play for all the meaningful/reflective parts? every time i want to get into the moment, her off-key voice ruins the whole dam thing! jeebuz.... she's flatter than Joon Pyo's straight look. i have to mute it when i watch.

someone ought to protest that that song be removed. terrible.

but everythign else makes this dorama awesome!

this drama is so good & fun. in ep1 when GHS saw the photographers & her eyes widen & she cracked a big smile, she looked kind of crazy but funny. LMH is perfect in this role, in ep4 when JP saw the photo on the TV that was a really great scene & acting.

anyway... its not a garage sale... even here in America there is something called Black Friday it happens once a year, the day after thanksgiving where EVERYTHING is on sale. The lines are longer than that picture and its even more rowdier than what you saw in the episode~ (you want proof...a person got killed last year b/c he was stampeded over when trying to open the door for Walmart).

And its during this time where you can even buy 2laptops for 500dollars~

also perhaps that there is a certain amount of time before the sale ends... that's what happens here on Black Friday also...

the biggest sales in the US is every labor,thanksgiving, and end of holiday season sales. sometimes one certain shops have their annual liquidation sale too. and most stores have their sale in seasonal (like back to school, halloween, valentines, graduation..blah blah. so in korea, i guess there's no reason for them not to have such. my two cents..

totally agree. i think Vic *from Taiwanese F4* did a perfect job of playing Huaze Lei.

then the Japanese version of Rui was hot too. but for some reason i fell for GJP character first.

i think both.

jihoo is quite a hard character for an actor to fill in.

i mean oguri shun oh god, he done such a high standard performance as hanazawa rui.

& i must admit hyunjoong has one of the hard roles to play, considering how previous actors

have made such an outstanding performance as rui. >.<

so maybe because rui&hua ze lei done so well, when people look at jihoo they think differently.

especially because i think this is hyunjoong's first major role in a drama.

jihoo is a bit stiff but hopefully he'll improve his acting, not that it's totally bad.

&

lee minho is doing such a great performance as junpyo, that it's attracted people.

bit of both, i think. imo.
