SYNOPSIS:

Tae-soo returns home to his son, Gun-sung, after a fifteen year absence. When Mari brings a baby to join Tae-soo’s household, an unlikely family is formed, but soon trouble ensues.

Korean Music Film Today

The Korean music film boom which began in 2006 is still on a roll in 2008. To address this recent phenomenon, JIMFF is presenting a new section under the title,‘ Korean Music Film Now’to continue its endeavors to introduce Korean features dealing with music. Although most of the films showcased in this section have already had theatrical exposure, the festival believes the focus at Jecheon where music films are highlighted will carry special meaning. Six Korean music features made between the late 2007 to the early 2008 are awaiting their chance to meet with the public.

Lee Moo-young has displayed a multi-talented career as film director, screenwriter, pop columnist and broadcaster. He has worked on the screenplays of < The Spy > (1999), < The Anarchists > (2000), and < Joint Security Area JSA > (2000). He made his feature film debut with < Humanist > (2001) in which he directed, wrote, starred and composed the music score.

In 2002, he directed An Indiscreet Wife, a Checkered Husband and a Taekwondo Girl.
