dont trust anything that cheap to work wonders, and isnt harmful.

Please watch the ingredients in those things.

and i wasn't really sure what it was so i looked it up

i'm not really sure what to make of this but apparently there was a fda warning on mamey in cosmetics?

sweetiegrl168 It's not that the use of mamey as an ingredient itself is bad, but the company does not bother to regulate the quality of the mamey oil/other ingredients they use, so it's full of contaminants. I was looking through the list you posted and there's a hella lot of bacteria found in each of the mascaras they tested (staphyloccocus/gram negative rods...) I would never let any of those get even so much as close to my eye lol. Thanks for posting up the list btw =)

Speaking of which, does anyone have the full ingredient listing for this mascara? =/ I can't find it on any of the sites on which it is sold, which is suspicious in itself.

^ Found a site which imports hispanic cosmetics - the naturamex brand they carry was on the FDA warning for yeast, mold and bacteria...0_o

Just a warning to soompiers, but I definitely wouldn't trust the quality control for this product, seeing as how the likelihood of these cosmetic companies sourcing their ingredients from similar suppliers/facilities is extremely high. You only have one pair of eyes after all, and a $3.00 mascara just isn't worth it.

If anyone can find any further information on this product that would be great though.

we sold those at the store i used to work in. like 1.99 or 2.99 i forgot... i never used them, but when i open them, it looked dry.... it doesn't look that great hmmm

HERinsinuation, (or anyone) do you the name of the manufacturer of the mascara? Trying to find it, but can't.

Well I have seen this product before, it claims to be one of the most popular brands...I wonder how long this has been though (the company says its been running for 20 yrs) I would suspect that something must have happened if it was really that unhealthy.

I'm kinda torn on this one too, since some soompiers report using it without any problems whatsoever, but the FDA import alert sheet says otherwise...

btw the report was filed as:
