Photography Thread

Welcome to my photography thread. I will paste lots of my work here.

Although i'm still not good enough but i'm trying to improve on my works, comments are highly appreciated.

Canon EOS 400D

18-55mm f/3.5-5.6

24-70mm f/2.8(Borrowed from a Friend, won't use that much)

you've definitely gotten a handle on shallow DOF and textural surfaces.

i really like the vibrancy of this shot:

caroline, your doing so well with these, i love your focus on them. all the flower shots are nice <3 very nice up front.

Spring 08.05 Part I

Some new shots i took last friday... not much to take on.. as we didn't really went out, so disappointed.

The first shot is the park behind my school's building, i didn't even know it existed. The second one is my friend(aka the owner of big foot) trying to be "youthful", bleh...

I was telling her that she's so disgusting =p and she says i'm mean, Bwahahaha...

I did put some warm color filter onto the first shot, just to make it softer, maybe i overdid that? Why do i have a feeling i'm "deproving"?

btw, to some people who voted for me in the competition thread, thanks a lot, but maybe i don't have time to participate in that... maybe next year?

I really appreciate the nominations though, even though some may not know what to put so they put in my name =p

Thank you, but actually that cat have a beautiful eyes, so i didn't need to have very good photography skills to get that...

Just that it's kinda hard to make it lay still...

It was unexpected that the angle i chose was pretty good and the colors of the tulips itself is very vibrant, so i didn't did much to it.

Haven't got a handle of what you mentioned. I don't even know what's shallow DOF and how to define textural surfaces...

Summer 08' May - June: Park Outing and The Streets

Went to the street fair in University of Washington. It's fun, you get to see lots of stuffs...
