Sunhee*, I just finished watching the eppie and I have got to say, everything you said...goes the same for moi. This eppie had scenes I hated, scenes that I loved (and rewinded quite a lot, hehe), and scenes that I just couldn't stop laughing about...it was a good episode. I, too, am one of very few who loved that kiss. Why? Read sunhee's post, that goes for me too!

Until Shin, Chae and Yul solve things, I think I'll be focusing on the cutie Jang Kyung and the lovely Kang Hyun...hehehe.

Jang Kyung was the last of Shin's crew who I thought would fall for Kang Hyun. It was a refreshing change. The ugly ducklings of Chaegyong's posse are slowly transforming into Odettes for the Shin & Co. I'm loving every moment of it.

Sunhee, I have to agree with you on this one--considering every episode leading up to this, I thought that that final kiss at the end was a long time coming. As I was watching it, I remember thinking, "I really hope she smacks him upside the head for that, because, while hot, so not cool." These two have a terrific chemistry and all that sexual tension had been building up for way too long. I do like that CG slapped him, because it was totally the right thing to do. It's good to know that living in the palace for so long hasn't quashed our girl's spirit. I think that Shin and CG are good for each other because they both have what the other's missing. CG needs a little structure and a little sense and Shin...Shin needs to know that it's okay to act one's age every once in a while.

exactly. Shin emerges from his inner chrysalis under Chaegyong's wings while he tames [needs to be a little more gentle though.. i swear, Chaegyong's arms are going to pop out of their sockets] our wild girl. The yin and yang.

i know readers, winter 2007. This is a conspiracy, i say. For all the wait, I expect double the sweet scenes between Chaegyoung and Shin. So sickeningly sweet so that I'm ready to puke and yell "Daksal" at the screen! (haha)

Hm, ok, now that I'm reading more feedback on the kiss, my feelings are being further hashed here and there. I don't think anyone's faulting Shin for being jealous--CG is his wife, there are no ifs, ands, or buts about that, and no Yul camper can deny it.

Ok, so some of you like the caveman approach, you're totally entitled to that, but this is just me personally and it doesn't get any plainer on the table: Chae Gyung tried to push him away and Shin wouldn't let her. He didn't care about her enough to respect the fact that she was saying and acting a clear NO. It doesn't matter a hill of beans that we all wanted hot skinship, because at that moment, it was about what Chae Gyung wanted and what Shin DENIED HER JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS PHYSICALLY WEAKER. THAT is the wrong part in all this. That kissing scene was about violation, and it hit me on a moral level.

Whew. I feel like a lawyer in a rape case. *knocks head back and forth*
