No less than seven times that I wrote and erased meeting schedule with

Lee Dong Gun and Han Ji Hye. Tight interview schedules with them

reminded me of their present positions. At the same time

I traced the path they have followed for a few years.

It seemed like respiration of a car with broken brake or a bike sliding

down a steep hill. It might be great luck to show their talents to the

audience as performers. But driving force can easily be run dry anytime

just like a flat coke. Why are they concentrating their energies so much?

What were given to them last splendid year?

HJH: "I really loved my works. Perhaps I must have loved works more than myself.

Last year I accomplished many things. And I was rewarded for them. But

I lost my personal life and I couldn't manage myself, too. So happy but

my affection for work ran short of."

Actress Han Ji Hye is unique. It's not because of her single eye-lid eyes

rare in entertainment world but because of her peculiar personality.

She looks like a mere child but once she talks seriously, she seems to be

matured, profound stuffy youngster. Seems like prissy but frank in fact.

And she's not a verbose type girl like talkative actresses of her age.

She looks like a fashion trend leader but her facial impression is

very classic. Among all these quilted images where is the spot

people feel favorable for her impression?

Jung Sook, a perky high school girl in the "sweet 18", a character

lead to stardom remains alter ego of herself. But people expect from

her fair image unexpectedly. As she admitted the decisive chance that

she gained public attention was on the drama "Bean hull in my life,

(it means so blinded by love that he can't judge properly, rose colored

life or something like that)". Do you remember the shop girl with a patch

over her eye who shook Park Gwang Hyun's heart? Her phase of nice image

might be revaluated by the movie "MBITB".

HJH: "Hami in the "MBITB" is a girl every guy wants to date with.

She is very decent, obedient girl rare these days. In times women raise

their voices and men yield to women like this, this type of girl may

be an ideal one for guys? You say female audience feel unpleasant?

I haven't thought of that yet(laughs)."

People's mental state are beyond analysis. They cheer eagerly and at

an instance they turn their backs.

HJH: "Fellow actors see me I'm easy to work with. They misunderstand me.

I'm very fastidious and emotionally fluctuant but they don't know that

yet. It's weird(laughs). I failed in my short career. I faced slump

in the "Island village teacher" though I couldn't know exactly at that

time for such a rush in career. I thought my good image I gained from

"Sweet 18" went few steps backward. And I realized that popularity

was momentary then. I had passion and confidence for my work before

but I felt clearly things I have risked my life could be in vain in

an instant."

They were awakened to many things for their ages and careers.

It seemed a state of transcendence. Youth full of agony and

sincerity. Maybe I have had prejudiced mind by their looks.

Fancy goods wrapped cute. So I asked them of what they were

thinking of their profession as actors. "What do you want

to be as an actor?" They were bright.

HJH: "Once I wanted to be a long lasting performer. But

from the "Island village teacher" till early filming stage

of the "MBITB" I had thought many things. I could endure

hectic schedules with smiles 'cause I was desperate for my

work. But now I want to enjoy my life and work. I think

I can be satisfied with every single moment instead of

a long run. I want to be happy most of all myself instead

of intent on showing me to others."

i love han ji hye.. someone said in the other thread thats shes not that pretty but very refreshing.. i kind of agree/.. shes not gorgeous or anything she jus has so much charisma? it like glows.. !!!

oh man. HAN JIHYE IS LIKE ONE OF MY FAVVVVV ACTRESSES.

so cute and pretty and talented.. AND makes the BESTTTTT couple with LEEDONGGUN. seriously. theyre like the hottest couple ever.

i watch all of her dramas. :)
