It's me again ! After seeing the news about HyeKyo next possible project... my friends (also die hard SHK fans) have started searching for the biography of that 'prostitute'

She was living in the 16th century....a beautiful and talented woman....good in music, dancing and has written a lot of good poems about love....unfortunately only 6 poems still exist now...She was a brave and daring woman in her period of time.....and she had entered into a 3-year contract marriage with a musician (she has refused to renew the contract when the contract expires ). She was not actually a 'real' prostitute...she was more of an artist performing in the porn house, where there were the real prostitutes.

Her story was recorded in Korean textbook.

Besides, describing her profession, the movie will stress on her attitude towards love and how she overcome hardships such as famine, running out of money and seeing her first love died for her.

The character is very challenging....so as long as there is no bed scenes and other sexual stuff....I support Hyekyo to star in the movie.

Some of my friends has suggested Rain could be the male lead (that is the musician who has contract marriage with her)...but this idea just make me laugh as I think Rain will look funny and weird wearing 16th century Korean costume

Just wonder what is contract marriage like in the 16th century in Korea....will it be something like the contract marriage in Full House.

thanks for the additional info wloi!!! just by the sound of this, i think SHK can do this role. i think this is actually good for her if she wants to try other roles. but it will be tough especially its her first time to do other roles than the 'innocent' and 'lovey-dovey' roles.

she's no longer with Lee Byung Hun and she's not dating right now. For the moment, I think she's taking a breather from dramas and she's stepping into the silverscreen world...hopefully, she'll get that role that wloi was talking about.

hey tammie! i'm Ian.. yeah...i was really lucky to get to see her in malaysia! i'm not from korea though...i'm just in Korea to visit and to see how many stars i can recognize..haha SHK is popular but not as popular as Jeon Ji Hyun right now though as JJH has a new movie playing (www.daisy2006.com) I still see SHKs commercials in the subway (as they have small TV screens inside the subway train) and some of her ads here and there. There's a really nice billboard of her outside the Etude House (cosmetics, etc shop) as she is (or was) the covergirl for them! I'll see if i can take a picture of her when I come across a billboard

Thanks! haha...i was lucky that i got to see both of them! Unfortuantely I haven't really seen any stars...the closest i've seen the stars were at the wax museum in COEX mall here They have wax figures of Bi and Chae Yeon and other actors/actresses. I've been to a few of the places where they filmed dramas though which is pretty cool SHK is popular as everyone knows who she is, but they're not that many billboards of her around.

But it's just speculation on her next movie project..anyway would be good if she can try other character role in future. I think actors/actresses need to do this to be more confident of themselves ! Even if it is bold and blatant !

That is terrible, but sad to say it's expected since everyone always bash SHK just because she leads in the poll. Seriously, bashing her will not make their own idols any more liked or admired and will just prove what type of fan they are. I wish I could be more mature and ignore the post, but of course I know I will respond to it and SHUT them up... j/k! ahahaha... but of course I must support our SHK and make sure know one brings her down without good reasons.
