Thankful for all the wonderful updates on SHKs activities in China these past few days and the Chinese media coverage of her activities is also overwhelming and happy also that she was also featured in some Korean Entertainment news , however , I am quite disappointed with Arirang's Showbiz Korea wherein at first i was excited when i saw the headlines for their Showbiz Today dated 06/16/2014 (see below) and this includes Korean Wave stars at the Shanghai Intl Film Festival and with this I am expecting to see SHK might be in a new photo or video during the SIFF but to my dismay after watching this episode there's no feature on this except for the Star vs Star portion  on SSH that some scenes with her on their Autumn in my Heart Kdrama was  featured . Kudos to Ystarnews for a having a video that highlights the opening speech of SHK and the red carpet moments.

Sorry about the empty post above:(Guess I was still half asleep.That is what I get fr. freguent checking of what is the latest re: SHK,even in the middle of the night.I just wanted to say I agree w/ sunflower91's observation.The Korean media seem to be lukewarm when reporting great things happening to SHKs career.They should be proud of her,like we do!!Anyways...I don't care,as long as she gets more appreciation fr. other  directors and co-stars fr. the movie industry(local & international).Fighting!!

I so love the Dispatch as it seems they were the only one who made a very nice report about SHK's lovely graced at Shanghai Film Festival.. I even admired the Chinese media and Chinese SNS as most of their reports/newsfeeds were about SHK at SIFF & Press conference and how they were captivated by SHK's gorgeous, classics yet alluring beauty..

Korean media doesn't really report on Chinese activities, which sucks because I was searching and searching and could barely find any reports on the press conference for "I am Queen." However, at least we have you guys here who give us all the news, translations, photos, etc so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

A photo of Taiwanese actor Joe Cheng with Song Hye Kyo in Shanghai has been revealed. On June 16th, Joe Cheng uploaded a photo with Song Hye Kyo on his Weibo tagging her as ‘Annie,’ her character in the movie, I am Queen.

Song Hye Kyo attended a press conference for her movie, I am Queen in Shanghai on June 15th. Among those who also attended were Director Annie Yi and Tony Yang. Song Hye Kyo wore a gorgeous flower print dress and with her elegant hair, she boasted of femininity.

Prior to the I am Queen press conference, she attended the 17th Annual Shanghai International Film Festival Opening Ceremony. On this day, Song Hye Kyo, along with Jackie Chan attracted attention by declaring the opening.

I am Queen is a romantic comedy about four women who find love through different methods. With her beauty and talent, Song Hye Kyo stars as Annie.

Hi everyone....same here....i did check most of the Korean Media websites but alas!!!!! Nothing much on her.....whereas..there are so many small articles on the drama actors like Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye Kim Soo Hyun ....they keep updating every small things that happen with all these stars.

The production conference for a new movie “I’m a Queen” starred by actress Song Hye-kyo was held in Shanghai on June 15. In the conference, Joseph Cheng, Tony Yang, Joe Chen, Vivian Wu, Shawn Dou as well as Song attended the conference.

Song plays Annie who is a beautiful and talented actress and reaches a turning point in her life after breaking up with her boyfriend whom she has been dating for 8 years. Song revealed, “I am very glad to film this movie with these great actors and actresses.”

Expectation for the movie is very high because Chinese top actors and actresses were cast and this is the first film of actress and director Annie Yi. The movie is now filming and is going to be released in November 7 in China.

[Global Network Roundup] According to South Korea, "Nikkan Sports", June 16 reported that, as a Korean actress, Song Hye Kyo is only keen to participate in foreign film festivals and ignored Korean award ceremonies. Song Hye Kyo should have a good reflection, for the fans and viewers in Korea she should make such choice and action.

　　Recently, Song Hye Kyo dressed in gowns frequently appeared at foreign film festivals, including this year's Beijing International Film Festival, Cannes International Film Festival and the Shanghai International Film Festival. I don't know if the translations from Korean to Chinese are correct or not.  If it is correct, then the original writer of this article/report is pretty ignorant.  There are a couple of mistakes.  First of all, Kyo did film another Korean movie after "Today" ("MPL") and secondly, the award she won for "Today" wasn't the "Popularity" award, but the "Best Actress" award.  She had no reason whatsoever to attend the Baeksang Awards anyway.  She was just nominated, she didn't win.  Major eyerolling here while reading this report 8-|
