I admit SHK is a really good actress. I hope this 1949 movie she filiming is shown in the USA. John Woo is a respected director in the USA. I am considering buying a copy of her movie Hwang Jin-i, just for the costumes.

I saw her in Hotelier and she got excellent reviews for her work in Autumn Fairy Tale and Full House but my K-drama heart belongs to "you know who".

her latest project is more exciting with Chang Chen, i've seen some of his movies but i don't know his name(i'm more familiar with his face). and yeah i agree they look good together! but he looks so skinny for Song Hye-kyo? sorry for Chang Cheng fans. i guess i get used to see Song Hye-kyo with a hunk leading man! :rolleyes:

how is the story? i stopped on Episode 3 because i am watching another korean drama(but heck the story is boring and complicated for me, so i will re watch The World that they live in)

^^ I love WW but we all have different tastes. For someone its great for the others its not. But I love it and I think the drama was greatest from ep 7-16, better than the beginning. Again its my own taste .

It's SHK's US debut indie movie in 2008 before WW and we still wait for DVD to come . You remind us about this, wonder when it's out .

Hi all, this is my second post here. I found some pictures of SHK's visit in HK. Apparently the female MC at the function fainted and fell on the floor, SHK was in shocked, she was escorted away first back to her room briefly, and then several big men came to carry the female MC. This is what I got from reading a Hong Kong newspaper online. Anyways, after the function, HK went to the IFC mall in Central, HK, she made an appearance at Laneige. When that finished, she went shopping at Habour City. It seem like SHK like to shop at Habour City, during her previous visits, she was always photographed either shopping or having tea at Habour City and nearby.

Yes, it was a 1949 thread on soompi and it was here at K-drama and movie section before, but since it's a Chinese movie, the mod moved that thread over the other section .
