i watched it today. it was pretty slow, but i like the bittersweet ending. i wonder how japanese ppl come up with all that poetic stuff, like the satellite going into the heavens and stuff ^^;;

i rated this 10/10 for the ff. considerations - #1. graphics, #2. sound, #3. animation, and lastly for the story.

This is a good film. In terms of graphics, it's really good. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it! Im not so fond of the story, as it was slow-paced and not much story to tell, but it was simple and sweet in a way. I liked it. Although I had this "eh? that was it?" reaction at the end of the movie lol. :lol:

I've finally found a movie similar to my life. It had the same ending to it.

Reality is a pinkberry. <_<

Edit: Good thing I ask that guy in school who was playing one of the songs from the movie. Or else, I'll never come across this cool richard simmons film.

I finally got to see all three episodes. Although the story is slow paced, the movie was simply amazing, aside from the depth of the story the artwork was stunning and so vivid that it looked almost real. I guess not everything ends happy, even though happiness is a broad thought it makes you think, stuff like that does happen, its real we more or less are bound to experience it. For the two characters despite all, they will always have their memories of each other.

It was overdramatic at some point but overall the movie was beautiful, especially the symbolism of 5 cm rate of fall

I had to admit it was kind slow but I loved it. The msuic was beautiful. I think cried a lot in the end. It made me think a lot about friendship and time. One of my favorite productions.

The title and its meaning really caught my attention.

I saw the movie about a year ago and I still remember it so clearly. I loved the realism and the 2 main relationships in the story. It was bittersweet and the ending was just perfect without being too dramatic. And of course the animation was flawless, reminds me of Hayao Miyazaki, but more mature.

The soundtrack fits the tone of the movie so well; I still listen to it sometimes. The whole movie was lovely.

I've heard about this movie. Through sporadic mentions or whenever I see the name come up somewhere. It has its acclaim. Been pondering on finding out what this film is all about. It probably is something I shouldn't miss out on. Perhaps I'll give it a shot.

One of my favourite anime movie of all times, really love the song and OST too...I wonder if everyone will feel some sort of connection with this movie, those moments of doubt, hesitation, distance and nostalgia.

One of my favourite movies as well! Has great soundtracks, beautiful graphics and mature, realistic love story."At what speed must I live, to be able to see you again?" </3

I watched this movie a month ago and I really like how it ended, I'm a sucker for sad and realistic endings so I totally loved it. The graphics is great, even the voice of Akari narrating sounds good to my ears. Also, the ending song is so beautiful...it keeps on playing inside my head after watching the movie, it fits the story.
