He can play everything and anything. with such a versatile actor the options are endless. a lifetime isn't enough to show all his abilities. @Winnie Lim @irilight sorry for the late reply, but who would have thought there's another (Korean!) 'The Host' than the one I meant? Haha with a very different story than the one I meant haha did you not think “why is she talking about a story of a monster in Han River when talking about KRW?” lol maybe you thought I fantasized about KRW killing that monster? (no thank you, I'm not interested in river monsters, gives me the creeps and I would probably not dare to come near a river for at least a month!). I was talking about the American romantic SF movie from 2013 (it's a novel based movie)  because lala was talking about living in KRW's heart as a kind of alien (I think lala got it right from the beginning which movie I refered to).

Anyway we've been talking quite a bit about which roles (and with whom) we would like to see our Prince play next. I will put my thoughts about this under Spoiler, because it's going to be a loooonnng text and if you don't wanna read it, just skip it

A while ago I was thinking I would like to see him in a “Sherlock Holmes” kind of role, because:

• I like detective novels

• I like humour (!)

• I think it would be well enough of a challenge for our Prince to play.

 

I prefer Korean dramas above Korean movies, so I was thinking more in the line of the American series “Elementary” where Watson is a woman, so there's a little romance too. But I also like the movie version from 2009 with Robert Downey Jr., which I think is very funny and there's action! (didn't we want a little action for our Prince?).

But lately I have a new fantasy/a new role I'd like our Prince to play. He would totally be a “Dark” Prince, as he would be a vampire! Funny, you ladies, lala and maria, talked about that today. Now I could not hold this for myself anymore 

I don't know if any of you have read the “All Souls Trilogy” by Deborah Harkness? It's about a vampire and a witch, who fall in love (wow this is so basic; ofc the books are about much more – there are demons too – but this is the most important thing for me haha). Not as explicit as True Blood, more romantic like Twilight, but a more adult version. More serious I think too. But so, I can totally see KRW playing “Matthew” in a Korean version of this. For me preferably in a drama, but a movie is nice too (just that it would have to be 3 movies, just like the books, because so much to tell!). I'm not sure who I would want to play the witch (in the books Diana), but all the actresses you mentioned are fine for me! And Jo Jae Hyun/Cho Jae Hyeon could totally play the vampire dad (Philippe in the books)!! The second book they go back to London of 1590, well in Korean version they can go back to Joseon Dynasty, so then we have our Prince (finally?) in a sageuk too!! Wouldn't that be awesome? Haha I really overthink about this. If I could have more enthusiasts about this I might actually write to KRW's agency and propose this haha How crazy am I?

Well there you have it  my ultimate favourite role I would like our Prince to play (probably best before he's 40 or 45 considering the 'vampire does not age' thing lol)

KRW was a topic in yesterday's episode of Showbiz Korea (in the "Celeb-O-Meter"). So nice things they say about him. He's Mr Romantic (call him fantastic)

I'm really so happy and proud he is watched by many and appreciated (especially for his hard work). he's so good at acting, it's really world-class. I do hope we'll be able to continue seeing more of him in lots of works, but of course, he should take vacation a lot too and maybe take time to build family life

this is funny, I was thinking about Disney(land) during my lunch break when walking (my colleague is in holiday, so I was walking alone and had too many time to think about.. well.. what else than our Prince?) I was thinking what kind of Prince I think he is. Is he a Dark Prince, drawn to the dark forces, or is he a Disney Prince? all galant and romantic? (Prince Aladin, Prince Eric, The Beast,... you can choose )

well, my conclusion was: with his acting ability he is all! he is the Prince of Princes haha. he can play dark, he can play nice, he can act serious, he can act goofy, but always handsome, always trustable, always with the good in mind, like a Prince. Since I don't know all his works, was he ever the real bad guy? I mean with only bad intentions?

@Niki Azia: oh yes, he looks so young and handsome, I copy that! Thanks to Doctors there are so many gorgeous pics of him circling around. I feel so happy and lucky. Some people are making such awesome edits, it got me open-mouthed so many times and I think the hearts are actually visible in my eyes. My obsession over KRW only gets bigger (what to do? mental health going down, well since according to Dr Hong you love with the brain, and you can only be crazy when in love, I guess it's okay ). I lack of describing how this got to me.

and yes, maria, of course you are right. I'm already obsessed. once there, there is no way back. maybe good thing there is distance between me and the object of my obsession, who knows what else I would do if I were too close. Sometimes I honestly don't understand how Koreans are able to live calmly in a country with so many stars (read: hunky namja!), especially if you are in Seoul. I admire them, really.

yes, the ending was a bit sad, but I believe it will all be ok. I'm definitely the one for a happy ending too. Rom-com's mostly have happy ending, otherwise it's a tragedy. 

Still looking at the pictures, I can't help to do that more than once a day. They are my happy pills. I concentrate on the lovely ones, not those last ones. The whole setting reminds me of midsummer night's dream. I found some quotes, which I think are suitable:

I am a romantic, so I'm very happy with this role where our Prince can be romantic. I would fall for Dr Hong any time!

Such beautiful gifs, it hurts my eyes, really. Every moment in the drama with KRW is worth giffing. I could look at it on and on, but it's not a healthy thing to do. There are other things in life too 

Comparing the drama with DOTS, it's still a dangerous thing to do imo. There are some good arguments in that article, but still.. I just hope it won't put too many pressure on the writers, PD, cast.. they're still half way to go.

Such heartwarming comments again too. A pity that KRW doesn't know about them. There are comments, if I was an actor, and I would read them, I would be so happy with my fans. Getting recognition of the business is nice, but to read what the "common" people appreciate in your work, for me personally that would matter more than awards or money or...

At least fans have expressed some of the love for him through that coffee truck. It is so nice! I always love how much effort fans put in the details, the cups with his picture, the photo frames, playing his scenes on the screen, I'm sure the text in Korean is nice and witty... 

I'm thinking about all the things you write,you should see me here nodding my head "I agree" "oh well said" "ah, really? haven't thought about it that way" I'm gonna steal maria's words and say "you are amazing!"
