Well, thank goodness for your translation, liddi, or I'd have been totally lost at sea watching that video.  I still see nothing on H&M's official YT page, and I can't believe they'll only release 1 vid pertaining to the CNY campaign, so I'd continue checking the page in the weeks to come. I expect this will be the main content, though, and that a subtitled version will appear on YT soon.

The Q&A is obviously scripted, not as in what they're actually saying is scripted, but the whole setup is clearly formatted for the benefit of the cameras. That's okay, though, as they still come off so adorably (especially Liu Wen - did anyone notice that she seemed shy and almost a bit nervous?) and some of their responses are suggestive enough to give hope to us shippers.

Bottom line: I watched them closely, and my feeling is that they're together. They don't have to say so in so many words, but you just take in everything as a whole (reactions, little gestures) and the overall impression is that there's something going on there. You definitely don't get the sense that their relationship is purely professional or that they're faking anything for the cameras.

So yes, I'm a happy shipper today. From what we saw on the show to what we see in this video, it's like a natural continuation, like they picked up right where they left off. Good to hear that Liu Wen will be in the East this CNY - we're hoping and wishing alongside Siwon that she's due for one of those many trips to Seoul!

Somehow I was expecting she would post something related to the H&M campaign, and sure enough she did. I just fear that it's because they really aren't together which gives her the freedom to do that. Or maybe now that a statement has been released and they're 'officially' not together, she feels comfortable doing it. Either way, it's a bold move on her part and she must be prepared for all the hate which will ensue, but I suppose she couldn't ignore mentioning or tagging a major fashion campaign starring herself (and in this case, it so happens, someone else).

Anyway, we can only hope she'll be more forthcoming with BTS snaps; if they lead to a bunch of real life suicides, the world will be better off.

Based on the timing of her latest update, I think she may already be back in the West...

Just friends, eh? What's with the intertwining fingers? I doubt they were directed to do that, just like they can't have been asked to do the same on LFIL when we caught them engaging in some naughty fingers action before breaking away when greeting the lady at the hanbok place.

And Siwon, "We are the most suitable candidates to spread love and joy!"? Did he really say that? If he did, um, just WHY are you guys the most suitable candidates, dear Mr. Choi?!

Oh, if only I could see them on billboards too!  If there's nothing going on between them as they'd have us believe, I find it interesting that they don't mind the public further associating them as a couple with this campaign which they know is bound to happen coming off of LFIL. Hmm...I guess the lure of the paychecks must've been too high?  

And I wish I could be happier about the finished product, but I still can't. Even in that big close-up, Siwon looks especially...waxy...somehow...and look at that second shot of him in the vermillion top! His mien is so masklike and the pose is just...ugh! The overall effect is a tad amateurish; they look so much more natural and more of what I'm used to from H&M in the BTS shots.

The accompanying article from Today isn't particularly hopeful for shippers, but I guess at this point that's what we should expect. It appears that the theory I floated many moons ago about the CNY campaign being their big coming out party as a couple is complete crap, unfortunately.

She's definitely in Bali. That guy who wished her well is legit from his IG account, so he really does know her. Another comment on her latest update places her more specifically in the Como Shambhala Estate. It's a bit dispiriting that she's there for work since her staff is with her; if she hangs around in Asia for personal reasons until Jan. 27th or Feb. 8th when she could instead be back in NY, that's a good sign as it might mean she'll be with you know who around those dates. It's obvious that celebrating Siwon's birthday on the show last year meant a lot to the both of them (no acting there), so even if they're just friends, I'd think Siwon would want to be with or at least reach out to Liu Wen on her special day. Let's hope that he'll be daring enough to post something online acknowledging her birthday.

And as for that 'kinky' H&M BTS shot, it appears that Siwon has his thigh nestled up against Liu Wen's crotch...I can't believe I didn't notice that upon first glance, but now that I do...ick!!!

I don't know how it's like in the East, but over here if a celeb's publicist issues a statement claiming that he/she is single and specifically not dating him/her, that's usually the case in reality. If there really was a relationship between the parties involved and they didn't want to confirm it, they'd just keep mum. Maybe in the East a celeb's PR team can say one thing while the celeb publicly intimates the opposite, but I doubt Liu Wen will go down that route. With the "single" statement now out, that's the way Liu Wen will play it at least until the two years are up, and most likely she won't even reference the relationship publicly if she can help it.

Oh, and a denial probably wouldn't have been issued if not for the fallout which ensued after Liu Wen's appearances on those shows, so we have the frustrated fraus to thank for that. And who knows, maybe Liu Wen and Siwon are really very relaxed about the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing while we're so het up over it - they're probably like, okay, we do dig each other, that spark has been recognized, but we've got an uncertain two years ahead of us so in the meantime there's no commitment, and let's see whether we'll still feel the same way after all that time. 

And look at that hopped up bint who has yet to be banned (moderators, step on it!) - I guess someone ain't buying Ms. Ren's statement, is she?  Should shippers take that as a good sign?  You silly little thing...Liu Wen may not have the biggest bosom, but that hasn't stopped her from making good money fronting a lingerie company and becoming the first Asian VS model, and besides, Audrey Hepburn was probably the most beautiful creature on earth and she was flatter than an airport runway, so Liu Wen needn't feel too bad. You, on the other hand, could get those triple D implants tomorrow and Siwon still wouldn't give a shite that you exist!

Trust me - check H&M's YouTube page.  They always release vids related to their holiday-themed campaigns as the date draws near, maybe even on the day itself, maybe after - look at what they did recently with Katy Perry's Christmas campaign. Considering that the Asian market probably comprises a bulk of their sales, H&M won't be stupid enough to ignore that cash cow. I counted at least three vids featuring Mr. and Mrs. Kao for the previous Lunar New Year campaign.

Anyway, I like the new BTS photos. Liu Wen looks lovely and every inch the professional model; Siwon still looks a bit off somehow and I detest some of the clothes they made him wear, but he looks better here than in the awfully airbrushed finished product. I may be reading too much into their expressions, but to me they look a bit awkward; not an awkwardness borne out of a lack of chemistry, but the sort that familiarity breeds.  They look so easy with one another, maybe even a bit shy, especially in the fifth and sixth photos; it's like those couples who've reached such a level of understanding with each other that whenever they're forced to pose for staged lovey-dovey pictures, they get all bashful and a tad uneasy.

Does anyone know if Liu Wen is still in East Asia? She has a birthday coming up and of course the Chinese New Year is just around the corner - is there any chance that Siwon will have a break from active service at that time? Could they meet up during that period if they wanted to?

And just because Siwon has an awfully high opinion of himself does not make him a horrible person who's not worthy of fandom. I personally can't stand guys like that in real life or in the entertainment world, but hey, if there's chicks who find other qualities in him to go gaga over and can tolerate him being full of it, good for them. I just used the example of Hugh Jackman to point out that there are celebs who really do seem to have it all and yet don't appear to think very highly of themselves. That's the true hallmark of a beautiful person, IMO (both physically and otherwise); they're gorgeous, but it's as if they don't know it. Liu Wen hits this one out of the ballpark, too; why do you think I'm such a fan of her and not of some of the other top models?

I also did not know Pia had to go through such shite; it's only the footage of that idiot emcee and his boneheaded mistake that I saw. Looks-wise, I'd still award the crown to Miss Colombia, but if Miss Philippines demonstrated such grace of character, then good on her for winning the crown. Mind you, I do think the runner-up bears a strong resemblance to that other famous Colombian, Sofia Vergara, and I don't regard that as a compliment, so make of that what you will.

Ms. Liu has now been absent from IG for five whole days...does anyone have an inkling as to her whereabouts? Could she have made a trip to Seoul which we'll never know about?  Would there even be a point to her making such a trip?

It is clearly an ego thing despite what his fans might say; I've always sensed that he's got a big one (hah!) and that's why I've never quite warmed to him. If Miss Philippines hadn't become Miss Universe and was never gaga over Siwon, would he have made that overture and followed her on IG? Nope. As for the gigantic male ego being a normal thing...look at someone like Hugh Jackman, who has worldwide fame that Siwon could only dream of and yet is the soul of humility without a trace of ego in every off-screen setting I've seen him in. Liu Wen is the same way...trust me, tons of the top models have their heads so far up their arses that it's no wonder they talk the way they do, but Liu Wen strikes me as someone who is authentically humble and who really doesn't think she's anything that special. On the other hand, Siwon has a very high opinion of himself and makes it patently obvious - he may think all that slobbering from those female nitwits entitles him to feel that way, but it's celebs like Hugh Jackman who separate the merely nice guys from the truly nice ones.

And if that "I miss you pig time" message is meant for Liu Wen, one has to wonder why Siwon chooses to convey it via social media rather than privately. If he wants the world to know that it is meant for Liu Wen (hence the message being public and not private), then he's more or less announcing that they are still together despite evidence to the contrary. I also find it amusing that Siwon congratulated the new Miss Universe and is now following her - I think it's safe to say he wouldn't have done those things if he didn't know that she once fantasized about being Mrs. Choi. You've got to be pretty self-absorbed to follow someone on IG and congratulate them simply because that person is a big fan of yours, but then so many of these much adulated celebs do exhibit an inordinately high degree of self-absorption, don't they?

Yeah, too many weird things abound if they aren't in a relationship. Like, why is Siwon's friend commenting on Liu Wen's every post only since the enlistment? What, it's only when Siwon is out of the way that he can finally reveal his love for her?  And then of course there's the shout-outs on Siwon's show - what was that done for if they aren't a couple? To drive up viewership and interest in China?

There's also the distinct possibility that Siwon has been very fair to Liu Wen and isn't 'holding' her to any sort of commitment while he'll be mostly unavailable for a long time. So, in that sense she's 'single' because she does have that freedom. Fine, you're 'single' and fancy free, are ya, Ms. Liu? Let's see whether there'll be any reports of hookups within the next two years since she's just sooo available and is such hot stuff that every eligible man should be wanting a piece of her.

This latest statement doesn't faze me one bit, for all the reasons others have already mentioned. If there was truly nothing between them (and I mean zip, zilch, nada), I firmly believe Liu Wen would've shot down the rumors even before these two recent public appearances. Would she really act all cutesy and coy about it when she knows full well that by doing so, she's leading people into believing that they might be together? It just doesn't jive with what I know of her, that she would be too chicken shite to be upfront about it herself because she's afraid that's not what everyone wants to hear or something.

And her team has a very good reason for issuing such a statement at this time. I don't think it helps Liu Wen one bit professionally to be associated with a celebrity who himself is on a 2-year hiatus. Say she has a big new project or brand to promote and whenever she shows up to do PR for it, all everyone wants to do is talk about Siwon which is in fact already happening. It just looks bad, I do think, when the focus should be on Liu Wen or the brand/project, so best to kill the rumor and shift the spotlight away from Siwon and the relationship.

Even if Siwon had been able to go home, he'd have at the most one full day off (the 17th). Considering her current schedule, it's practically impossible that Liu Wen would've flown to Seoul to spend barely a few hours with Siwon when she had a day of filming on the 17th and an event to attend on the 18th (the date of Siwon's enrollment). We'd like to think so, but she's not Superwoman, okay!

As for Gigi and Kendall...ugh! Those are celebrities (I use the word very loosely); they are not true models, and it makes me sick to see Kendall's flatly lifeless face plastered on every major Estee Lauder advert these days while girls like Liu are given short shrift. It's like when Kim and Kanye made the cover of American Vogue; it almost makes one want to give up on fashion when such a travesty occurs.

Confirming the relationship outright is not a feasible option, so the next best thing to do is to be noncommittal and let us draw our own conclusions. I firmly believe that if even the idea that SW & LW are together is a total joke, LW would've flatly denied the relationship at any given opportunity, let alone one on national television.
