i saw glance in ch eyes, that he already having crush to SC.. (its not love triangle, but one side love). We all now sc well known as pretty mermaid like Junjae, namdo, and tae oh said. So he might mesmerize by chungs beauty and kindness, while he was lonely person.. i guess he might be friend with chungs later !

Lee Min Ho's Portrait In "The Legend Of The Blue Sea" Gains Attention For Being Drawn By Famous Artist

Lee Min Ho’s classical-style portrait in “The Legend of the Blue Sea” has gained attention for being the work of a famous portraitist.
In Episode 9 of the SBS drama, Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho) receives a portrait that Dam Ryung (Lee Min Ho) left behind with words of advice written on the side.
The portrait was done by a real artist famous for portraiture named Im Woo Hyun. From the drawing to the writing on the side (done with the help of a classical Chinese expert), the project took about a week.
Im Woo Hyun received a photo of Lee Min Ho as the male protagonist and completed the portrait by imagining his costume and pose. The artist said, “After the portrait was shown on air, people who knew that I drew it said nice things to me, but honestly I am regretful that I did not capture Lee Min Ho as well as I would have liked. However, I think it appeared well because the production staff filmed it well.”

Jun Ji Hyun is the Comedienne

Fantabulous cameos
Cha Tae Hyun makes a very appropriate cameo as a conman who tries to scam an unsuspecting land-side mermaid. Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun starred in 2001’s “My Sassy Girl,” and dialogue from the film surfaces. Luckily the vertically blessed Lee Min Ho comes to save his mermaid from Cha Tae Hyun and all is well again.
The second cameo is by Jo Jung Suk, who is fresh off his drama “Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate).” He plays a merman who has fallen in love and suffers for it, but who also shows Chung the ropes of being a merperson on land. Rule no. 1: Pearls count as currency. So the two merpeople get to watching a sad scene from “Master’s Sun” (starring Jo Jung Suk‘s recent co-star Gong Hyo Jin) to make some quick cash.
Shin won ho is adorable
Shin Won Ho plays Tae Oh, the silent computer genius. Around Shim Chung, he becomes rather adorable compared to his usual prickly demeanor. He fosters a great bromance with Heo Joon Jae, but is also jealous, often shooting daggers with his eyes when Heo Joon Jae overtly flirts with the very, very pretty mermaid.
Beautiful cinematography
Opportunities for beauty in cinematography are endless when your main female character is a mermaid and you can harness the beauty of both land and sea. Reflection is an important visual and character concept. Light reflected in the water mirrors how the incarnations of the characters parallel each other.
Lee Min Ho is the jealous type
There is nothing cuter than a jealous Lee Min Ho whose competitive feelings are sparked by Jo Jung Suk’s cameo. He stutters, and becomes haughty and possessive of his strange, beautiful new roommate.

The mermaid’s unusual friends
Shim Chung’s first human friend is a cameo by Hong Jin Kyung as a fashion-savvy homeless woman. Hong Jin Kyung played Jun Ji Hyun’s friend in “My Love From the Star.” So much enjoyable cross-pollination in this drama! Shim Chung often visits her homeless friend for fashion and love advice.
While Shim Chung may be a bit foolish and naive at times, her young elementary school friend is not. She hangs out with the student when she’s in need of life’s wisdom. The irony of the age reversal is poignant and quite funny.

Lee Min Ho And Jun Ji Hyun Crack Up The Crew As They Act Drunk In Making-Of Shots From "The Legend Of The Blue Sea"
Have you watched the latest episode of “The Legend of the Blue Sea”? SBS has shared behind-the-scenes photos of one of the episode’s highlights, which is that very memorable drunken confession scene.
On December 19, the drama’s production team released a series of candid photos of Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho as they were going through that epic scene, in which Heo Jun Jae (Lee Min Ho) attempts to teach Shim Cheong (Jun Ji Hyun) to drink, but ends up getting plastered himself.
According to the production team, even the staff on set couldn’t stop themselves from laughing at Lee Min Ho’s realistic portrayal of a drunk person who keeps repeating himself over and over. They were also extremely tickled by Jun Ji Hyun’s drunk-crying over the dried octopus snacks (octopuses are beloved pets for mermaids in the drama).
The production team also talked about the unfurling of the drama’s climax, saying, “After Jun Jae’s drunken confession, the two lead characters come clean about their secrets in the ending of episode 10. How their relationship changes after the reveal will be shown in the next act, so please continue to show your love for the drama.”

December Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed
On December 17, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed its December brand reputation rankings for actors currently starring in dramas. The results are based on 33,196,677 pieces of data compiled from November 15 to December 16.
Due to the popularity of “Legend of the Blue Sea,” lead actors Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho have clenched the top spots.
Jun Ji Hyun came in first place with a score of 9,570,088. This is a 61.48 percent increase from her November rankings.
Lee Min Ho also enjoyed a high increase of 57.22 percent and got 5,467,926. Third place goes to Lee Soo Kyung who received 3,255,485 respectively.
