I believe, Yoo jin oh appearing again in this life time, because he miss their old times and love his teammate, eventhought we dont know it yet for sure what happen to them in year 1930. I have feeling right when he was deliver himself to Sejoo and Js. As the clock/ watch running again. The actual story begin again. :| because im sure he want to save sejoo from slump with helping him as ghostwriter, and (since he know old story of their life) yoo jin oh possible to help him again, from evil character who planned everything to destroy SeJoo. Like what bangji mom said to sejoo, that he was surrounding with,death,madness, delusion, anxiety, fear, resentment, and obsession. (I think writernim describe evil character who wishing seJoo to dissapeared).

Im Soo Jung Shares How She Feels About "Chicago Typewriter" Co-Star Yoo Ah In
Im Soo Jung is the cover model for the May edition of fashion magazine InStyle, and she expressed her thoughts about her drama “Chicago Typewriter” and co-star Yoo Ah In.
“When an actor meets a drama or a movie, it’s like meeting a lover. I agree to work on it only when I get the right feel from it. The moment I read the script for ‘Chicago Typewriter,’ I wanted to do it. That’s how interesting and fresh the story and characters are.”
Im Soo Jung plays the role of Jeon Seol, an avid fan of Han Se Joo (Yoo Ah In). In accordance with her character in the drama, she revealed, “I’ve always been a fan of Yoo Ah In,” and continued, “He fits his character so well that I can’t imagine anyone else playing that role, and I’m sure viewers feel the same way as well. Being on set is fun too. Although Han Se Joo has a cold personality, sometimes he can be cute and funny. The scenes where Han Se Joo and Jeon Seol appear together are especially fun. I like how we interact with each other.”

What I found interesting is the first three sentences:

The rest of the description describes the following sequence: he rushed on his bike, and fell and Soo Hyun approaching etc.
Lastly, Hwi Young asked Soo Hyun to type for him because his hand hurt from drinking and from the glass. Did he lie or was it the truth?
Anyway, I wish I could be a better translator. I can read some Korean but translating into English is hard. Apparently, I am no writer.
The novel written in Hangul seems truly intriguing. The description in the prose conveys a mysterious and charming, inexplicable vibe beyond what images can tell. No wonder the readers are going crazy over it.
Also in the novel, it's described that Soo Hyun thinks of Yool (Yoo Jin Oh in the past) as both her teacher, and the person she's grateful/indebted to. Yool took her under his wings from long time ago and taught her stuff, assembling guns is one of them.

SpoilerWhen Yoo jin oh appear again in this life time, i guess it was because his sin/guilty feeling, which make his soul stuck into typewriter.. how come he insist to make JS and SJ meet again with mysterious ways (from deer and accident, dog, watch, typewriter? If everything was fault from SEO HWI YOUNG in the past. Its not possible right?
As we can see Jeonseol keep talking about " in the past she might killed someone who should not die" as her own nightmare everytime she hold the gun.
In jeonseol case: i still believe she shoot Hwi young.
How about Yoo jin oh soul? My guess his soul stuck with typewriter, where he wanted to make everything in the right place. (I have feeling it wasnt fully his own fault)
we still dont know it yet.
On preview 5 we can see yoo jin oh looks sad, and he wish that sejoo keep writing so he can alive. Isnt his words sound like guilty person? Like he was once make hwi young/ past sejoo STOP writing in the past

As u can see on minutes 21.25 after she said that word, SEJOO appear walking at her house where we can saw Yoo Jin oh also there. So one of them was killed by her bullet.
And my conclusion little bit much toward han seJoo, is the one that she shoot with her gun !

Infront Jeonseol house Ghostwriter said to sejoo: i fell in love at first sight, with jeonseol. Then he continue answer SeJoo question, "how and where did you get to know that girl?" He reply to sejoo: when i arrived in korea from the us. I fell in love at first sight at the airport.

I love how ghost writer asked SejOo if he was once working as ghost writer? And sejoo answer him: id much rather let someone steal my writing, than taking credit for someone else's work, *than he burn Ghostwriter manuscript.
WHAT MAKES ME CURIOUS IS IT SEEMS SEJOO READ SOME IMPORTANT PART OF GHOST WRITER STORY IN HIS MANUSCRIPT?

ABOUT PREVIEW 5: seems like our ghost writer want sejoo to keep writing so he can still live. With sad face. So curious with his line, he looks so lonely, and need a friend. As we can see ghostwriter has no place to go, but only SeJoo.

Btw, i really love chemistry and romantic scene and line from sejoo and jeonseol, they really match to each other, she is honest to him, no one avoid their own feeling, they stay true, and confess their mutual feeling to each other. He said she keep appearing inside his dream, his mind, and his novel. Ugh those sweet words made Jeonseol look confuse but happy until she cant sleep well after that

Well said, i think its true his dream like "portal" between past and present time. That why in preview he look angry toward Jeonseol, he asked JS "why did u keep appear infront of me?"
and again we heard his voice saying "why u/she keep coming inside my dream, inside my mind?"

Finish watching episode 2.
finally, yoo Jin oh came out on screen tonight.. and seems like he know everything about SeJoo and their past life, did he really ghost from past? On last scene jin oh help him to continue his novel.. i need to see more Jin oh.. because seems like he was the key of this story.
Sejoo boss seems like already contact Yoo writer to be ghost writer, looking that myterious man style, i bet he is Yoo Jin oh. on last scene seems like Jeonseol help Sejoo out from the car, but sejoo mistaken her like she want to kill him lol..he is lucky, since Jeonseol took holiday in the farm or village like bangji mom said to sejoo.
Their friendship looks great between Sejoo jeonseol and jin oh in the past. But im curious why Jeonseol (past life) holding gun toward one of them? In present time, i also curious about sad story of Jeonseol? there is alot mystery in this drama, i guess i need to wait more episode..i also love past scene our 3 otp, Its good choice, fresh and new in kdramaland using time when japan invasions of korea..because we always find it only on Movie scene..
AS FOR NOTE ABOUT GENRE CHICAGO TYPEWRITER ON PRESSCON writer said this drama was romance, fantasy and MELODRAMA..So, it was not fully romcom, but MELODRAMA genre more suit this drama, since writer past project more likely melodrama and action..

Long before she met him at subway fastfood?. just like she said in the subway fast food, "look like he write novel" to her friend. like she know his profession already, or did she knowa it from her past life? and high possibility she is Disguise her self as his fan for long time, its that meant she want to get close again with him, after their past life ended with unknow mystery.
can we skip sunday monday tuesday weds thursday just for friday?? Cant wait for episode 3 !!!!

Well, even i cant understand the whole scene.. but it seems han se joo having mysterious sickness, and he was mistaken jeonseol as his anti fan..
i have feeling that puppy, was originally his own puppy.. because he wont have that kind of usb like dog snack, if he doesnt like puppy.. and taemin already said that sejoo father worried about sejoo..
at the end of episode jeonseol friend (bang jin) told her friend about jeonseol ability with gun or something related her hobby when she was kid and join competition on olympic. as the reason why they called her as jeon seol, since long time ago.. because everytime there is accident, there is something strange like she keep having some nightmare like someone trying to hurt or kill her..
TVN Never dissapointed me ! Cinematography always came first, and it was perfect with background song also performance by all actor and actress.. i hope we can hear another great ost for upcoming episode from korean singer ! Please..
my question is.... where is Jin oh?
aka go kyung pyo...that charming prince need to come out soon !!! (Ugh, Yoo ah in and him always melted my heart).

On April 5, Soompi had the opportunity to attend the press conference for tvN’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, “Chicago Typewriter.” Actors Yoo Ah In, Go Kyung Pyo, Im Soo Jung, and Kwak Si Yang were present at the press conference, along with the director of “Chicago Typewriter,” PD Kim Cheol Kyu.
The press conference began with photo time, for which the actors posed for individual shots as well as couple and group shots.
After individual shots, Im Soo Jung and Yoo Ah In posed for couple shots and their sweet chemistry could be seen immediately, as the two couldn’t stop smiling at one another while walking up on stage together.
Go Kyung Pyo joined the two on stage afterwards for a shot of the three main actors and Kwak Si Yang joined for a final group shot. MC Park Kyung Lim asked the actors to strike an interesting pose for the final shot and suggested, “Although it may seem awkward, since the title of the drama is ‘Chicago Typewriter,’ maybe pretend to be typing on a typewriter.” The actors, although initially thrown off by the unusual request, laughed and proceeded to pose together.
MC Park Kyung Lim asked the cast members why they chose “Chicago Typewriter” and also asked PD Kim why he chose this specific cast for the drama. In response, Yoo Ah In stated that he had always wanted to take on the role of a writer and saw this as a perfect opportunity to fulfill a career dream of his. Im Soo Jung answered that she fell in love with the narrative immediately upon reading it and expressed that she had always wanted to work with her fellow cast mates on a project.
Go Kyung Pyo stated that he not only loved the script, as it was fun and very unique, but also wanted to work with the cast and crew of the drama. Finally, Kwak Si Yang answered that he chose the drama because, after reading the scripts for the first three episodes, he couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next and expressed how honored he was to be working alongside such experienced actors.
PD Kim said that each actor had his or her own unique, unexpected charms and that they all brought something different to the table. Furthermore, he continued to say that each actor’s individual sensibilities matched very well with the character that they were cast for, raising even more anticipation for the drama.
MC Park Kyung Lim then moved onto the Q&A portion of the press conference and took questions from reporters. When asked how he felt about being the maknae (youngest) on set, Go Kyung Pyo responded, “Being the maknae is the best! I receive a lot of love on set and everyone takes really good care of me. I want to take some time now to tell that I love them,” which drew laughs from all the panelists.
MC Park Kyung Lim asked a follow-up question about working with three actors who are known for their young looking faces and the actor amusingly responded, “I acknowledge that I look old for my age…,” at which point Yoo Ah In jumped in and said, “That’s so bad of you, Kyung Lim noona! You made him say that!” which caused everyone to burst out laughing.
When asked if he thought the drama would get good viewer ratings, Kwak Si Yang responded, “Yes, I do think it will get good ratings. I think that we will be able to rewrite tvN history with this drama so please watch it on time!”
Furthermore, a reporter asked the actor if he felt burdened at all when working with an actor as experienced as Yoo Ah In. Kwak Si Yang honestly answered, “Yes, it’s very burdensome to act alongside him. Even from the very first script reading, I couldn’t help but admire him for his acting abilities and thought to myself that I still have a lot to learn.”
Actor Yoo Ah In also addressed a question regarding the status of his mandatory military enlistment, which was initially pushed back as the actor was diagnosed with a benign bone tumor.
The actors couldn’t stop laughing throughout the press conference, as they continued to joke around while answering reporters’ questions. Anticipation for the drama continues to grow as the close relationships between the actors reflects their amazing on-screen chemistry, which viewers will be able to see once the drama airs.
The first episode of tvN’s “Chicago Typewriter” will air on Friday, April 7 at 8 p.m. KST. Check out the trailer for the drama on Viki!
