    OMG LOVED TODAYS EPISODES.... All the JEALOUSY !!! :wub:

    I  screamed when BZH saved HQG after she was thrown from her kidnapper during the deity device showdown...:w00t: I knew he was going to save her but it still surprised me because they had been apart for so long.  And during the banquet BZH gave dong fang a look that can kill ....it is so obvious the dong fang is so in love with her...:rolleyes:but I am sad because BZH gets stabbed next week....:tears:  I hope HQG finds out the twins are switched soon before she gets into serious trouble with the fake one  ..:phew: Hunan needs to be cursed for all the cliff hangers:angry:

    @‌hayuinblue Don't be worried :) Their are many epilogue endings for this drama and no one knows which one it will be and previews can be tricky B)  But if it's of any comfort the author of the book is also one of the script writers of the drama and she has already said that she wants a happy ending :rolleyes:  Knowing that- I watch the drama in peace... enjoying each and every episode - I did read a few chapters from the novel this weekend **couldn't wait till Tuesday :sweatingbullets:*** and with the exception of the characters  it is completely different from the drama.  So other then their personality's I try not to compare the two and look at them as alternate universe or something like that, because both the drama and the novel are good in their own right or independently :D

     

    **I must admit after seeing Wallace with long hair ~ I now prefer him in this type of drama or ancient dramas **

    @‌ IMOmusings I can't  for next week to watch either especially since she is going down the mountain and her scent attracts demons.:sweatingbullets: My mind is just spinning with scenario's.:rolleyes:.I don't know how I'm going to survive this drama:tears: it needs to be on more than twice a week:angry: The suspense and CLIFFHANGERS are driving me crazy :crazy: Fortunately, now that she is his disciple he can legitimately protect her  without fault :wub::wub:and not have to be secretive about it for fear of showing favoritism

    I love the instrumental/background music they used today ...:wub::wub: I have to get the soundtrack

    @‌ Le_Amarant The drama airs Tues and Wed from 10pm-12am Chinese time.  I'm in the eastern time zone and watch it live stream so it airs from 10am-12pm eastern time.

    @‌IMOmusings Just wait till you watch episode 12.... There's a battle with ni tien and tang bao defends HQG and  she  gets stabbed causing her cacoon to open revealing her human girlish form.  But the best part is ni tien corners HQG later in a small battle at the pond and shoots her with poison needles.  HQG knows that she is shot with something but thinks nothing of it, so later while she is  practicing inner martial arts in her  room  .she starts turning evil ...her lips turn black and she is slowly dying ...it's more like her soul is being corrupted then evil...Tang bo tries to get in the room .. but the doors won't open and she doesn't know why...She's was going to get help I think, but BHZ shows up she tells him she can't get in then he ..forces the doors open with his power and then forceful uses majic.. on her to save her life and force the needles out of her body **cause that spell she was doing made some kind of barrier** and then he gets behind her to restore her vitality at a danger to himself.. and then that woman who is in love with him comes over while he's trying to save HQG he ask her to do something like maybe help *think**** and she says no.  Next week ni tien may try to take HQG out / kill her with a sword in a secluded area....  I'm waiting for the online videio to come up so that I can see that scene again:wub:

    @miaka fy I read the Taiwan version (2010) years ago, then currently reading the latest China version (2014) which I bought last year.

    Why did she have to do so many epilogues... haha.

    I am so glad there are a lot of different epilogues because now I don't know how it will end and will focus only on the story..... and can safely not worry or be stressed out about the ending ....^_^

    sorry it's been so long since I posted but the Chinese channel on youtube made the video unwatchable in my country and today they just made it watchable again..   :w00t: I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing because my index finger likes to get stuck on the rewind button.  :sweatingbullets: As a result I had to go through journey over flower withdrawal so that I could actually get some sleep.:( Only to realize that it was futile because I saw episode 9 and the finger sprung into action again when  SQM whom she calls jeje was healing her wounds from the sword battle with Ni Man Tian ***absolutely love that scene he showed her so much compassion holding her in his arms.  She really needs that after all she's been through:P****   and then of course I couldn't stop myself from squealing on episode 10 when every one was wanting HQG to be their disciple and BZH air lifted her up and floated her to him****Honestly I thought I was gonna DIE.:w00t:.**  It was like he was  indicating to everyone  HANDS OFF SHE'S MINE I choose her, and letting everyone one know it in the process:wub: I love how he always has a plan and never lets anyone know.  Like SQM says " BZH sees so far"  So as to say everything he does such as being cold, refusing to help with her wounds... All his actions have a deeper meaning which you will only know/realize when the end result is revealed.  I love how he secretly protects her...Like when she mentioned lord strange decay he then knew why she was there, and he went to confront  lord strange decay and told him he knew that he sent her to his side, and that weather he kills him now or in the future doesn't matter but that he was their disciple now and  to leave her alone **  I was like in awe because the protective beast BZH has made an appearance and displayed his affection in an underhanded way**:wub: Now that she is officially his disciple I'm waiting for the secret jealousy as we know he can't show his emotions in public...  I hope they show a lot of happy scenes to make up for the heart wrenching ones seen in the preview,..... BUT I WOULD OF LOVED TO OF SEEN BZH CARRY HQG TO HER NEW HOME AFTER SHE COLLAPSED IN TODAY'S EPISODE that scene would of been priceless,... but then again my finger would of been stuck on that rewind button and I would needed to see a doctor.. But now that she is in his house training I have 5 words to say BRING ON THE LOVE ACTION!!!!:wub::wub:

    speaking of which .. Does anyone know why HQG collapsed?  and does anyone know who the actor is that looks after tang bo/ the caterpillar ? I've seen him in other dramas but I can't remember which

    @miaka_fy urm... are we allowed spoilers? Can we say DF is xxx? I was talking about the masked guy who fought BZH and ran after, and BZH was thinking about him, saying he gave him a familiar feeling. :P

    If it's the guy the BZH fought after QG left in episode 7 then that is the lord of decay who is the little boy told BZH that he was going to kill him after his father died in the past

    OMG I must of seen episode 7 like 10 times already :wub: of course I was focusing on the opening scene.  After BZH used Qian Gu as a conduit to strengthen her inner energy to fight against the demon sect, she was like dumfounded (like where did she get that much power), turned around and saw him remove his hand from her back and then she collapsed in his arm and then the demon sect went for her again....OMG the ticked off look in BZH eyes was mesmerizing ..he held  her with one arm and held the demon sect off with the other hand by just standing there!! AND WAS LOOKING EVEN MORE HOT WHILE HE WAS DOING IT :w00t: 

    It must of been his looks that made Qian Gu fall out in addition to her internal injuries cause BZH  was  just too dam good looking in that scene.    And then hotness number 2 shows up ** I wanted to faint *** protecting his people and her :P 

    ***lucky stiff I wish I was in her shoes**

    I can't wait for the girl x girl battle next week!!  Hell I can't wait that long .. I need the next episode like today B)

    I dont know why Im enjoying watching this drama so much even though I cant understand a word while watching last night. Anyway, so many good looking guys who adore Qian Gu but of course no one beats Wallace! I like Bai Zi Hua the most and Wallace but I also like Dong Fang, Sha Qian Mo and Lang gege. I even liked the guys from the Demon Sect. I like everyone in this drama maybe except that old guy with Zi Hua who ordered to punish Qian Gu. Haha.

    I know!!! even I found myself liking the sect leader from the demon sect ..IT'S HIS EYES...they make you want to faint:wub:

    @carmolita YES. I rewatched it like 4 times LOL. Can not gushing at how cute they are together(well at least for as right now, before all the drama and the torturing). After watching the sword flying part no one can blame Qian Gu for liking BZH. It was his fault for being too good looking, always being the hero who saves her, and being oblivious to how attractive he is. I can not wait to see how BZH falls in love with Qian Gu even though its like the ultimate no no for him. 

    LOL...He's so cold to her that every time he shows a bit of compassion. I'm shaking my head and wondering if I saw that right :huh: But the way she grabbed onto him and he held on to her sent my head spinning ....before I knew it I dropped my computer mouse and had to redo all my paperwork!! If he saves and wipes the blood from her face tomorrow and get's mad because of what they did to her...:phew: I don't know what's going to happen. I'll  probably have to re-watch the scene like18 times:wub:

    @carmolita LOL, I think you will die if you read the books, from he way you've penned your thoughts just from watching the show. BZH is a lot hotter (and irritating) in the books! Of coz he is gonna save her. Heck, he was there to save her when it's not even in the books since the beginning. So I'm a bit peeved at this as HQG is not simply a damsel in distress always needing saving. I haven't seen epi 5, but will get down to it in a bit. Excited to see Wallace.

    You just increased my anticipation for tomorrow's episode by 1000%:w00t:....oh no how am I gonna sleep tonight :tears:

    OMG! I was like dying so hard at the part where they were both on the sword, and he was teaching her how to fly on it. While they were talking, and Qian Gu kept on looking back...their face were soooo close to each other omo...If I was Qian Gu just one look at BZH's face and I'd probably fall in love too. Can not wait for tomorrow's episodes. 

    I re-watched that scene like 7 times!!!!!:wub: I thought I had died gone to heaven and kept being reincarnated!!! :rolleyes: The music drew you in even more .. my heart skipped too many beats on that scene and maybe even stopped once or twice:phew:

    OMG there was hotness all over the TV screen today :wub:*** I still need to go get some water to cool down:phew:***

    I had to stop working during the scene where BZH was showing her how to use the sword to balance and ride through the night sky.  The way he was holding her felt like a dream.  **I was waving my arm as if someone was there to pinch me and wake me up**I have to have that background song they were playing during that scene.  :rolleyes:It was soo ethereal...anyone knows who sing it?

    Wallace Is so convincing playing BZH who is suppose to appear to be emotionless.  I love how cold he looks that you almost never know what he is thinking.. the only way you can tell is by looking at his eyes..I saw a behind the scenes video of the first scene and he practiced over and over how he was going to place the bottle on the prison bars.. I thought this person is serious about his role....I love actors who are dedicated to the character they are playing cause it makes the drama more believable.

      I must admit I was a little worried about the student teacher relationship because it is so taboo and after watching romance of the condor hero's  it became the focus of the drama so much that they went away from the plot that I thought I would never watch this type of drama again, however, Journey to the flower is different because they had feelings for and knew  each other before he takes her as a disciple ... I like that  their taking so much time establishing their relationship before it gets to the disciple point because then it will be more like a secret boyfriend teaching his girlfriend how to do a skill and it would be and feel more acceptable and less taboo.

    I very much enjoyed her being taught swordsmanship  today...she even injured herself and said it's nothing and kept going..:P You can see that everyone is in love with her and wants to help her  because she is so child like and innocent, always wanting to help and please everyone, but like she said her body does not make tears... so she has to be happy. 

    Does anyone know what was said to BZH that made him take off/ disappear  in a hurry ...??:huh: One minute he was their the next minute he was no where to be found.  I thought perhaps he heard about the trouble HQG was having and raced to her aide but from the looks of the previews that didn't happen. and also  the guy who  HG called older sister saved her ...he was so hot...:wub: I think I fell in love with eyes ...

    They left it on a major cliff hanger ....She was sacrificing herself trying to do battle with another sect to save her own and then when she was thrown back and spewed blood... I was on the edge of my seat thinking ...oh no he's coming, he's coming thinking about BZH coming to the rescue and then end credits... I was mad as HELL and screaming WHY!!!!!! at my computer screen...because the last shot you get is of her spewing blood on the ground...and have no idea if anyone is going to save her !  Hunan knows how to end them:angry:   NOW I WON'T GET ANY SLEEP BECUAUSE I'LL BE COUNTING DOWN THE NEXT 13 hours :sweatingbullets:

    Ok after a week of patiently waiting it looks like the drama is going to air in 2 hours :phew:

    It seems like every time I re-watch this drama I notice more and more things ... such as it seems that dong fang was sent (by the guy who helped Hua Qian Gu gain entrance through the mountain) to help her pass the test to make it into the immortal sect. And that HQG sole reason for joining that sect was just to meet/see her friend Mo again~ I love how she is so drawn to him after meeting him once.  I'm curious as to why she keeps suffering while calling out his name in her sleep or could it be that she is calling his name because she is suffering as if she wants him to save her?  I love that kind of devotion:wub:  

    I haven't read the book and don't want to focus too much on the previews  because they can be tricky...but after watching this I may have to read the books.. The drama also seems more like a drama/love story with fantasy elements - then a fantasy with drama elements - as it lacks all the craziness  of a fantasy drama ...:rolleyes:   That may be why I love it so much ...did I mention I love BZH Hair.

    @‌dimples21 Fantasy is not my forte either.  There are only a select few that hold my interest (such as The Four :lol:) and if it doesn't have a good story line, bad costume, sets or a disjointed plot  then it can be difficult to watch.  This drama, however, breaks all the rules for a fantasy drama:huh: so I was a bit surprised :blink: .. The background sets look so real like you can reach out and touch them it makes you feel like your there or want to go there .. The costume design looked more natural or more realistic  for the not so human people without going overboard and the graphic's were awesome. You can see where the money went, which is straight into the production and some CGI :phew: The 2 lead actors Zanilia Zhao Li Ying and Wallace Huo Jian Hua are top grade and definitely add to the story and the supporting characters are good to..that's not often the case.  I like that it has a focal point and not all over the place and even though you can tell that it moves fast in the beginning ..It's not so fast that you don't get a grasp for the character or can't tell what's going on .. The story draws you in ..  In episode one I was like ok, ok, ok and when her father died and she told Wallace's character   Bai Zi Hua that he was her only friend in the world ~ I was  touched :tears:and then got hooked, but it wasn't until they were trapped together and she had no idea who he was or that he was her only friend who saved her and took care of her  after her dad's death that I began to love it. **OF course I was cheering at work, arms up in the air when she made it  during the bridge trial **

    I'm use to seeing fantasy drama's, have the same story line ~ lose some family member, fight, lose, train, fight again, maybe find someone important to them, get separated from them, find them  and then fight again, over and over until it gets to the end where the bad person doesn't come back to life.  But this one seems more story driven then action driven.  I love that she has a friend that she wants to find and she is learning martial arts not to fight for something to gain or some great cause but to simply protect herself at the behest of her father.  I like that she's not good at fighting because she doesn't know how, but she still tries despite the many obstacles she face and Iove how she tried to protect and save   Bai Zi Hua  by digging a hole, she is so simple minded like a child. Sadly I like that   Bai Zi Hua keeps tormenting and torturing her because he can't make a decision, conflicted with his emotions and unable to come to terms with what is and what isn't. Another thing that is different is  that her peers are not against her nor destined or wanting to see her fail.  That it is cool, cause usually their is one bad person in the bunch who doesn't want to see them pass the trial.  In this case it's her teacher/ masterB)

    What's even cooler is that their are soo many novel and epilogue ending's ..that you have no clue how it's going to end.. which is good because then your not focused on the ending ..your sort  of forced to focus on the story.. :rolleyes:

    @‌xXMzSmilesXx  I agree with you since they had that preview showing him in modern times (current day 2015 hopefully ), wearing a nice blue/violet blue suit, short hair and  with the sword in his apartment .. if it ended that way - her cursing him to live forever and never get sick or age and she gets reincarnated in the future.. I would be totally happy with that ending  ...and It's more likely they will take it in that direction otherwise why waste the money shooting the footage (that type of ending is similar to the k-drama Gu Family Book where the girl dies in the past before she died he said he would search for her  until she's reincarnated , he lives forever/immortal she is reincarnated  with no memory of her past life, he's in present day with a similar relic, looking hot, with short hair and a black suit in his apartment and he saves her from some bad guys in a park and then he found her again like he said )

I'm really looking forward to the next episode.  Call me insane but I have to watch those episodes again for the 3rd time...  What can I say I like the part when she asked him to stay with her until her birthday passed and when they were trapped together underneath the magical dome... that was too funny ...:w00t: :lol:  He was weakening himself by trying to over load the barrier with magic making it shrink smaller and she was digging a hole with her bare hands and he looked at her like she was crazy  and she said don't worry i'll save you..and after going through all that trouble trying to make a hole in the barrier with magic it shrinks so small that they jump in the hole (and she was like~ it's a good thing I dug this hole), and then she raises and waves her hands like she's gonna touch the barrier then  the blood from her hands makes a hole in the barrier....the look on his face was priceless (he was like I nearly killed myself trying to make a hole and all she does is a little manual labor and wave her hand) :w00t:  I laughed so hard  LI Ying made that scene work....and the part while their in the magical dome where  she says by the way I'm suppose to tell you they stole the ??? (some object)   and he turns to her and says I can see that!  because the enemy was using it against them... I thought that was hilarious   :lol:

    @‌xXMzSmilesXx   The version on viki is the edited and televised version.  It's shorter because of possible broadcasting regulations and may have some cut scenes.

    The long version is the extended version which is usually aired online live stream.  it usually includes some footage from the prior episode and maybe some additional scenes and scenes from the next episode of the short version.  Both versions usually get released online

    @‌seirranime you are also completely right at the time I made that post I had only seen the last 30 min of the live stream version which  is part of the extended version of episode 4 but will be the beginning part of  episode 5.  

    Viki is subbing this series fast  they have episodes 1-3 are at 100% subbed and episode 4 is almost complete But then again the English sub team has a lot of members for this project and so does the Spanish team and the French and Indonisian team would be 3rd. 

    Wallace aka Bai Zi Hua did not want Hua Qian Gu to pass the trial to become a disciple of the immortal sect so he was  trying to sabotage what she is doing ** I found myself cheering at those scenes today when she exceeded his expectations** But I also think he is kind of watching her to see what she will become.  She is suppose to be his calamity and could either be good for him or really bad and until he deals with her he can't get to the 10th trial of heaven or something like that.  Which gives him the skill or power that he needs  to defeat  a sect that's going to attack them later and an evil guy named yuan **I think** from that sect also killed her former master before she could become his disciple, but before he died he made her the leader of his sect (the feather he gave her is the proof that she is the leader).  Wallace dilemma is that he can kill her and then he can move on with the trial  without a problem but he doesn't want  to kill her because she is innocent and didn't do anything wrong and so he  is trying to find another way for her to survive and for him to move forward  as sect leader.  So he tries to convince her to join another sect and says that he will set it up and when she refuses he tries to sabotage her so that she won't join the immortal sect and hinder his growth, because he loses his inner power when he is around her.

    His main desire is to be the leader of the Immortal sect.   The sad part was in the very beginning while he was training to be the sect leader of the immortal sect he came down from the mountain as a human or to live as a normal person and saved Hua Qian Gu from a demon attracted by her scent  and when her father  was dying  from the fire the angry villager set Wallace aka Bai Zi Hua had a choice to either abandon the trial and save her father with his power *which he was forbidden to use while training* or  not do anything and complete the training to become sect leader.  So he asked a woman who saved them from the fire the villagers set - to save her father and she said, " NO" and asked him to choose between being  sect  leader or saving his life. 

    **The reason why the lady wouldn't do it  was because she is also from the immortal sect and in love with him.. She  felt betrayed by him because in order to become the sect leader of the immortals you have to give up emotions including love....which meant that she could never be loved him**   If Bai Zi Hua saved him he could not become sect leader because he can't use his powers during the trial.  So he chose to let Hua Qian Gu's  father die.:tears: I'm curious as to how this is going to play out in their future relationship when she learns of his decision
