OMG !!! I can't stop thinking about that scene... mostly because as soon as SQM knocked QG out  within that moment in a split second  .. BHZ was so infuriated **never seen him that mad** that the instant he saw QG collapse **wait she didn't even have to collapse .. the moment SQM laid a finger on her to knock her out ** he tried to kill SQM without a second thought, he didn't even hesitate!!  During the sect meeting after she was kidnapped did he promise to go after her?? cause he said that he was going to do something

I just saw the extended preview for episode 23 ..and I thought that I was gonna DIE  I SCREAMED SO LOUD !!!!!!!!1   QG is injured and struggles walking all the way to BZH room saying sifu, sifu all the way there holding her chest.  He answers the door and looks sooooooo worried!!!! I never seen him look that worried before ... ** I though I was gonna die .. my heart was melting so fast*** and then he healed her and the evil twin came to the door.. You can tell the difference between the two because the evil one has a mole beneath his chin and the good one doesn't

I'm not sure about Qing Shui's part in the novel .. I haven't read that far, trying not too  but  from what I have read they don't really talk about her all that much... I want to believe that she didn't betray her willingly only because in the previews she is imprisoned just like Tang bo is but also in the drama preview she is among the disciples that have to go after QG to kill her and she is also among the crowd along with the purple fairy when she is punished ...

Just saw a glimpse of the extended preview while writing this post

umm hummm I saw a preview of that Dong fang said that what BZH did was ..

tie his life to hers so if she tried to use some sort of power BZH would be harmed,  or if something happened to her he would feel it ..something like that .. they/he  said  BZH  tied his fate/ life to hers to punish himself but he had to do it to save her... I need to watch that preview again  

@‌jolin_chan   so that's what that box was!! I though it looked familiar, but I couldn't figure it out... I wouldn't be surprised if SQM is out of his mind for some reason cause in the scene before it someone did something to him and he passed out on his throne.  The next thing you know he's in chang lui ... but QG better save him..i don't want anything to happen to jeje/SQM   but if BZH has him tied up  in that barrier then their is a good reason for it ..he's not one to make mistakes

episode 21 was good but episode 22 was the best  I love the bedroom scene

 

I loved how BZH stayed to protect QG because she was scared and then dong Fang came to check up on her and BZH wouldn't let him  enter  her  room and then later BZH sat outside her room playing the zither watching dong fang to make sure that he didn't go near QG.

 

Does anyone know if the sect leader transfer ceremony was complete?

I hate that the fake yun yin set up SQM but I'm not entirely sure if QG figured out that he is the fake..  What does everyone think?

.. With regards to BZH seeing far and his calamity. When he first  met QG he didn't know that she was his calamity, after he became the sect leader and  tried to open the 10th heavens gate his life stone reacted and then he suspected that she was his calamity.  He always remembered his teachers words to kill the calamity if he found it instantly , but because he is so good natured, right is right, wrong is wrong, protect the people and she is innocent he thought their maybe a way around it and searched in books to find a way to save her.  But fate had intervened from the very beginning he had impacted her life so much as mo bing that she was going to seek him out no matter what because she desired to see him again. QG is an emotional girl and her emotions drive her actions even if it defies all logic and meaning. When BZH left her at the restaurant and said that they would never meet again  I think that was his hope or wish. As you know he tried everything to keep her from chang liu and away from him.. I think so that know one would find out who she was and also it was an attempt to change her fate and his. He probably thought if his calamity wasn't there and they were apart then she could be saved. * I wonder sometimes that if he had appeared to her again as  Mo Bing earlier  that he would of been able to convince her to leave and he could of just visited her or kept an eye on her.  But she had already made so many friends by the time he found out the reason for her being in chang liu that Mo Bing was no longer her reason for being there.

Despite all the hardships and obstacles put before her she still persevered, so him accepting her as his disciple is him accepting his fate and realizing that  their destined for one another and protected her life so that no one found out her true identity.  He's trying to save and protect everyone everywhere , but not himself. As we've seen in the drama from his conversation with ZX he will die before he lets any harm come to QG.  The interesting part is that she doesn't know that she is his calamity and based on the preview it is BZH friend (1 of the 5 immortals that is going to tell her when he tries to kill her **but previews can be tricky*) .  I love BZH's character but he is often misunderstood because he is logical and a man of few words and have cut ties with his emotions so no one knows what he is thinking and no one see's his feelings. Everything he does is to protect QG, he's completely loyal to her and  it's all for her sake and everything she does is for his  even when

 

She is sentenced to be punished with all those nails..He had no choice he is the sect leader and she did commit a crime even it was to save his life

**and she was prepared to die for that crime but she was upset because he used abstain thoughts on her **and if everyone found out that she was his calamity they would kill her and he couldn't stop that because of his teachers words.  So he had her take so many nails used his powers to stop the rest  .. then used the sword of abstain thoughts because he knew that she could survive that if she took all of the nails she would die. So he took the last 64 nails for himself because he could survive it **but lost most of his power because of it ** and no one question it because when he took her as his disciple he said her faults are his. The sad part is QG did not know what he did for her even his nail injuries at that time she didn't even know he was in love with her.

When she was banished  to the wilderness he sent a magical beast to guard and protect her but he didn't know what NMT and Mo Yan had did to her... injuring her face and voice so that she couldn't speak and tell anyone what they did , but it was only during a later battle with her that  he found  they had injured her so badly that he was so infuriated  he cut off NMT arm and said really bad things to Mo Yan and left chang liu for a while. ** Mo Yan has done a lot of really bad things and BZH knows this but I don't think that he can remove him from his position that easily**  He always intended to die with QG because he never wanted to be apart from her even when she forced him to kill her to save everyone he was going to kill himself right afterwards but she cursed him with immortality before that could happen and he went crazy because he had to live without her and live with the thought that he killed the person he loved. He tried many times afterwards to kill himself to join her but it didn't work.  But she never betrayed him and stayed true to her word protecting him to the end.  But of course she was reincarnated with the mind of a 3 yr old,  BZH found her thanks to SQM, took her as his disciple again, dong fang made medicine which took him 16 yrs  to help her regain her memories or cure her eyes or something like that, ultimately she regained her memories  forgave BZH and they got married and went/moved back  to chang liu  --

**From what I've read the 5 husbands ending wasn't suppose to be in the book it was just a funny story the author made but the publisher put it in the book for more book sales**  But their are so many endings - all of them are happy endings so it will be really interesting to see which one the drama takes

You just don't know what he's seen...so their is a reason for everything he does, it's just that you don't know why  he did the things he's done until  it happens.  A good example is when SQM first met QG, after he saved her she retrieved the sword of abstain thoughts  and SQM asked her why did she have BHZ sword/the sword of abstain thoughts  ( because he knew it well, and  was surprised that BHZ gave it to her when  BHZ gave him so much trouble when he tried to borrow *can't remember the item he lent SQM*) and she said that BHZ gave it to her for protection and then she explained the situation to him, SQM  was surprised and said, " he's seen that far!",   so I think that they have some sort of history and they know each other well~ because in the most recent episodes  BHZ had no problem lending SQM the flow of light harp he just didn't trust his underlings.  In the upcoming episodes BHZ has already known what was going to happen and foretold of  these events when the current emperor left chang liu.. it's no coincidence that he is, where he's at now, at this point and time. 

And don't be too sad because ultimately the story has a happy ending.....hopefully they found a way around the regulations to show it .... But I believe in the screen writer, after all, it is her novel and she said that she wants a happy ending

@‌jolin_chan  Oh. he knew of her deep feeling for Mo Bing before that .. since episode 2 when she was calling out for him in her sleep and when she mistook him for Mo Bing after coming to chang liu because she confessed to him what he meant to her. I think that if it wasn't for her emotional suffering or sense of loneliness he wouldn't of confessed. But he had to confess not only to alleviate his guilt but so that she knows that she didn't loose everyone who cared about her.   Since the drama is different from the book I wonder when they are going to have her confess?  That's why I'm trying hard not to read anymore novel because I don't want to be disappointed and be surprised but ..I am so glad that the author who wrote the book is the screen writer because the story can be complex ~ the author did a really good job writing the script without loosing the story and it's even better in a lot of ways I think~ considering the time they have to shoot it. 

 

The drama is starting to change from the novel - in the drama he left chang liu to find the 2  missing deity devices before some members of  the 7 murders sect.  In the novel he was traveling with QG and she had already been his disciple for 6/7 years at that point ....Remember he sees far so he knew that at some point their good time was coming to an end, she had already learned almost everything from him  so he was content and he had her fighting monsters alone so that she could get more experience to defend herself. But he wanted her to fight stronger monsters but they  wouldn't come when he was with her because of his aura so he made her do it alone because they are attracted to her sent.  And then he got word that something was happening with a deity device.   and traveled to the mountain that was filled with snow.  and my favorite part was their flight there   --** I really hope they put their sword  flight in the drama**

   During their flight she was on his sword and she was on hers and the closer they went to the top  the colder it became.   QG said," sifu are you cold?"  because she was freezing  and he said, "I'm immotal. Why would I be cold."  He saw that she was beginning to lose consciousness and was going to fall, because she was starting to wobble and knew they couldn't stop and rest because their was no time they needed to save people .. So he moved his sword closer to hers and used his light to make her warm and brushed the snowflakes off of her body... but it didn't help she was still struggling and so he let her put her sword away and get on his and then she held onto him from behind and fell asleep on his back.

BHZ had already for seen what was going to happen and had a premonition of the dangers on that mountain but he didn't want to be parted from QG. but after the poisoning incident QG realized that if she never went with him and he realized that if he never took her to that mountain because he could of handled it alone.  Then none of it would of happened....  Imagine he is so crazy in love  with her that even though he knew the outcome he was willing to die for her then be parted But of course she didn't know his feelings at that time

@‌evori   She didn't transform on purpose ..She was caught of guard because

 when she realized that BZH was going to sacrifice his life to save her it was too late.  He choose to die to save her because he didn't have the energy to save them both and their was no cure for the poison.  So she was doing everything she could to stay with him, even if she died with him she wanted to be with him  and he wanted her to live a full life...But she became so distressed and overwhelmed with emotion when she saw him disappearing/fading away  and she was moving further away from him that she couldn't control herself and screamed releasing her power. She didn't know what it was.. (and she was also injured from fighting) the book just said that her true form could be seen for just a moment/an instant and then it was gone but it didn't  say if he saw it.  I got the impression that he didn't see it and it didn't even say what her true form was.   That part of the story  always stuck with me because QG went crazy being ripped from her lovers arms

 **  like a young child be ripped from a mothers arms is the impression that I got  **

@carmolita The snow scene still happens (we see in the previews that Wallace goes trekking through the snow) and the part where she offers blood still happens...3 times I think it was in all the previews.

BZH actually gives up quite a lot for HQG...least of all his heart, which I'm sure he started losing when he appeared to her as Mo de ge. Her anger at him for refusing to admit his love for her basically overshadows all her thought processes...otherwise she would realise she would never have gotten away / been allowed half the stupid stuff that she does...

I hope so cause strangely that scene is one of my favorites cause afterwards

 

They have to fight the girl **can't remember her name** tang bo goes for help and BHZ and QG get sucked into the cauldron/deity device and their is no way out because the cauldron will kill them  before the poison will .. BHZ holds QG and shields her with his body, but she wants to shield him with her body but he holds her tightly so that he can protect her from the fires?? *if I remember correctly**in the cauldron because he knows what she wants to do . Then he tells her not to worry she will make it out because she has to survive .. then he uses the last of his energy/ power to  help her escape. She realizes that he is going to give up his life to save hers.  She starts floating upwards and tries to hang on to him and notice him disappearing .. She screams in despair because she wants to be with him even if she dies and transforms into her true form for just a moment which unleashes her power and saves them both...

I hope they leave that it...but then again I may re-watch that scene for days so it might be a bad idea ... oh no ...4 hrs of sleep again

Cause in the novel while they are looking for the deity device the end up  on a snow mountain which has many traps and   QG gets lost in an illusion (BHZ warned her about the illusion and the person that's causing it and told her that it could harm her because you believe that it's real), but she doesn't know it's an illusion and searches for BHZ.  And then she comes into contact with the girl that Is casting the illusion as one of her powers, so QG  fights her and thinks that she is stabbing her and then realizes that she stabbed BHZ,  the girl (can't remember her name??) tells her that she just poisoned BHZ with the poison from the cauldron and that their is no cure, so QG sucks the poison from BHZ body and then their is a light from the sky and it is the real BHZ who had been  looking for her  and asks her what is she doing ? and she looks at the body of BHZ  on the ground whom she was sucking the poison from and the body disappears with the light because the real BHZ broke the illusion .  Then BHZ realized that QG is poisoned and can only think about saving her because he knows it will kill her and against her pleas and without thinking  he starts sucking the poison from her to save her  and becomes poisoned himself . Then she carries him ... *a bunch of stuff happens in between*   And then he tries to bite her at some point.. eventually  she has to give him her blood to slow down the poison until she finds the antidote

I noticed that the scene from the preview when she is on her knees at the door and hugs him at the waist is like in the novel .. it's when she tries to put her blood in his food to keep him alive and he refuses to drink  or eat it.  And for many days he does not come out of his room and  I think she begs him and refuses to leave because she is worried and wants to see that he is ok and then he comes out and gives her his assurances, but he couldn't go on that way and he still refuses to take her blood so she bites her wrist.  He drinks it without hesitation because he is starved and uses his magic to erase the teeth mark on her wrist so no one notices.  I can't wait to see those devoted scenes where they have that secret between them

 

@‌miaka fy and @‌jolin_chan  I'm stocking up on Kleenex in a couple of weeks the kind with the lotion, may the plum flower scent  not because it's going to be sad but because of the heart wrenching scenes that tug at your heart strings .. It's BHZ's expressions I can't get them out of my head and their devotion, and blind faith in each other....it just captures your soul

I think after seeing this, Qian Gu will know that her master had always been secretly protecting her along and did not betray her. 

I AGREE!! and don't forget about the scare on his arm that QG sees when he is tied up.

In the novel and it seems like they are going to put it in the drama mo yan puts water from the 3 color watered pool on BHZ to see if he has fallen in love and fortunately it doesn't scar right away but it does later and that's how BHZ realizes that he is in love with QG.  Then every time he has feelings of love for her he is in pain and the more he loves QG the more pain he is in (where the scare hurts).  Also in the 15 min preview QG sees the scar on his arm  and yells at him for cutting it off because she knows that he loves her and then he says what does it matter if I love you , what does it matter if I don't love you.   I can't wait to see that scene  

I really feel bad for BHZ because he is doing everything to protect her and QG will become so in love with him that sometimes it will be hard for her to see past the desires of her heart because of the emotional pain she is in, but ultimately it will be her heart that will protect everyone.  At least I think that's how she is going to act as the demon goddess  because her actions will not reflect her true feelings. 

I loved watching episodes 18 and 19 because you can see how much BHZ tried to protect the people that he loves even XZ.  She betrayed BHZ many times, breaking into his house and stealing the life stone, trying to kill QG, harming an innocent, and even tried to manipulate QG to the dark side and each time BHZ forgave her, because each time he said  don't blame me, I will cut all ties with you if you do it again ~and he never did.  I think he deeply cares for XZ and perhaps feels deep regret by not being able to return her affections, so in a small way he may feel partly responsible for her actions.  But she is always the one that  imposes on him~ he even banned her from chang liu/his house  and she still came back. I began thinking that ~ This girl has some serious mental problems.

But the best part was that BHZ didn't deny his feelings for QG and he stood up for her each and every time  against XZ and made it very clear that he was going to protect QG with his life no matter what because he is tied to her through their fate. 

I must say that I love Wallace acting in this drama he is so dedicated and prepared so much for this role.  In the behind the scenes video he practices even the smallest movements such as the way he  places  a bottle many times before the camera starts. It  has to be really hard to play a character that is so cold and than slowly change into a person with feelings, using  the smallest of your expressions and being convincing while trying   to make it seem natural  .  Since this drama is on the international stage this will definitely boost his international appeal and turn mainland china into a drama power house.

The mainland china dramas have come such a long way that I'm way  behind on the K-dramas because I've been watching so many Chinese dramas   ahh My life is ruined ... OH and  Zanilia  is good it's just that she is so good that her acting for this drama  is on the same level as the female prime minister.  Although I liked her in shan. shan it's a modern drama so it doesn't take much to be good  in that one.  but everytime I see her in a period. ancient or historical drama... her skills  are always tested to the limits because of the character that she is playing that it leaves you wanting more.  Both Zanilia and Wallace need to sweep the awards podium for this masterpiece because they have  delivered in a big way

@kashie19 the part where BZH was combing his hair alone made him seem so loney  Qian Gu brought light and adventure into his life but now because she realize her feelings she is afraid and is pushing BZH away. These two are very good at causing each other pain whether they are aware of it or not. In just two episode, we see how much BZH is attach to Qian Gu then we have ever seen in all the time they were disciple and master. BZH's facial expression when Qian Gu starts pushing him away is just heart wrenching. We truly get to see how different BZH treats her from everyone else. If it had been anyone else, BZH would not have been so kind and lenient to. The thing is BZH knows how it is to be pushed aside but later on he does it to Qian Gu when she decides to confront her feelings with him while he run from fear of it. I wonder did they decide to take an adventure to leave everything behind for a while?? If thats the reason why then its a good decision..but then everything went downhill from there. 

I thought the same thing, because now

they don't have to be worried about what everyone else is thinking and it gave them a chance to evade ZX but a lot of good that did.. that sadistic woman still found them She must have eyes in the back of her head, or clairvoyance as an immortal power because they told her nothing of their plans.  But I don't think that BZH is oblivious to QG's feelings for him.  If anything he should be more convinced that she is in love with him because if she had nothing to hide/didn't love him then she wouldn't avoid him.  But he may choose not to believe it until she tells him herself and make it a reality, sometimes I wonder if he is playing along for her sake because anyone can see that the dong fang confession was a lie and if she confessed her feelings to BZH and more people knew about it then it could harm them both.  Then his compassionate actions would be seen as more then a disciple teacher relationship  I love that they need each other and he is finding it harder and harder to be without her... so much for him being emotionless.. but everyone please watch this scene from episode 22 which airs next week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcJjl-bmfDc   there is no way he doesn't have deep feelings for her after seeing this..

OMG I must have gone crazy like BZH I have to get up in 6 hours and I'm still watching more journey of the flower.

I agree with you .. What made the scene even more beautiful is that before all of that she was at the grave of her parents and BZH was with her.  And then she was calling out for her father while sleeping and that tormented him.  He didn't try to comfort her  but you can tell he felt guilty and felt her pain and ironically it was the same way she called out for Mo bing in her sleep when she was suffering without him in previous episodes.  She had been lost in thought so much, that I'm sure he knew she was regaining her memories  because in the earlier episodes he was wondering why she hadn't forgotten him.  So when she was burying the sword... He probably thought that he couldn't let her loose someone else when she had already lost so much and mo bing was the reason she kept going and what brought her to him.  He was the most important part of her life .. She was already in so much despair and loosing herself that maybe a part of him thought that he would loose her to.  Selfishly he had to reveal himself so that her heart would come back to him..  unselfishly ..he had to reveal himself so that the good and happy part of her would not die or get lost ..either way he wins..but I love that he gave her space to figure it out and be herself.  But I wouldn't be surprised if a small tiny part of him may of been worried of her coming back and  thought that he may of lost her~or a least the parts that make him so happy.  But that's how we know he loves her  Not to mention that he would of felt guilty as HELL and for all eternity  if he let her bury that sword along with her feeling for mo bing  allowing her to suffer emotionally ,only to have her find out later that they were the same person.  that would be unforgivable and hate would defy all meaning at that point

I just saw the new preview for episode 22- QG wakes up screaming in her sleep and BHZ hears her, flings open the doors and find her not in her bed...  She's hiding in a corner kind of shaking and BHZ helps her back to bed and tucks her in  **DAM I WISH I WAS IN HER SHOES** it was toooo touching - must watch that scene  100 times - anyone else seen it ?

I thought that the Mo Bing confession was so beautiful

 He repeated it  more than once and had that solem look in his eyes ...Like I'm sorry and he  looked deeply sorry as if you could feel his pain and regret     I'm wondering if he knew she was starting to remember, because he did that after she was trying to bury the sword mo bing gave to her for her birthday..   I hated when ZX ran after her, after she realized who QG really was and tried to take advantage of her feelings..  Although I did want  to see BZH try to rescue QG  from being burned alive as mo bing of course  but instead it was the memories of her father...that caused her to reap havoc and stop her from killing the villagers.  BZH saw that ZX was kinda of responsible for QG acting the way that she has been ... Do you know what he said to her after the fire incident

  Todays episodes were so breath taking and  beautiful  I could watch it a hundred times... it was all about BZH and QG and their relationship grew leaps and bounds.  The last episode was my favorite, but sadly viki won't have it until next week ..In it

QG finds out that BZH is mo ge ge, she's also strung up by villagers, but best part was the last scene... when she ran into BZH's arms and the way he held her, like he was never going to let her go and be far away again .... I'm not sure of the ending conversation but I think she was accepting his as both bzh and mo ge ge... I know that she had trouble with her feelings because she is in love with him and kept saying in some parts why sifu...  (As if she wish it could of been someone else she was in love with)  but it wasn't - I can't wait till sunday... I don't know if I can survive until then

Ok I just re-watched episode 17 and 18 just in case I missed something and then I realized .. that

 

I don't think BZH believed QG when she told him that she liked dong fang..

**Remember he see's far **...I think he can tell when QG is lying .. just like when he asked her who harmed her with the poison, she lied and said that she didn't know.  Then in episode 15 he told one of his fellow superiors that she was lying about not knowing whom the person who poisoned her was and believed that it was her friend and she was protecting that person.  I think he was more surprised when she said it was dong fang because he knows or is suspicious of  what his intentions are and is aware of QG true feelings for Mo Da ge aka BHZ.    It may of been more convincing if she said the emperor. But I also don't think that BHZ isn't aware of his own feelings.  If QG would just tell him how she feels it would solve the problem but he told her from the beginning that if she made a bad mistake/disappointed him  that  he would get rid of her as his dispel.  For her it's more important that she remains close to him/by his side ~then have him worry and stay away from her.  So  she is trying to take action and stay away from him before anyone notices.. But I think that this  makes BHZ realize more  that QG has feelings for him, because she has changed and acting in a way that is not her true self.... 

But I think 2 things would make him think that she has feelings for him ..one is what QG said at the banquet and  what she said to him when she was trying to put her to bed after all the alcohol/ spiked wine *** anyone knows do tell **

I must admit that I feel really sorry for XZ since her love is unrequited but then again she brought this upon herself and instead of being nice and helping BHZ  with QG.. She wants to get rid of her for what she thinks is protecting him, but really she just wants him for herself.  XZ has been an immortal for way too long that it's made her bitter, but you have to wonder what type of person would BHZ be if he tried a relationship with her... Let's see XZ would become more vindictive, try to control him and kill everyone in his path.

Where's the added footage from? I didn't see it in episode 17 or 18...

It's at the beginning of episode 17 most of the footage  before BZH goes to talk with the fake yu yin is new..It's the scenes after BZH does the drinking with dong fang and gets the bells  and before he talks to yu yin ~ those are new scenes

@‌severus  I couldn't stop staring at how beautiful BZH hair looked..it was so silky, shiny, straight and not wild today.  Not to mention he looked so regal. AHHHH why can't he look like that in real life I very much enjoyed how he protected QG today.  I can't wait until she finds out that BZH is the person she's been searching for.  I just got to see the look on her face when that happens

I just FINISHED WATCHING IT   I love all of the BZH QG scenes...

Today's episode had added footage from the end of episode 16- they put in some extra scenes that they cut out  

First episode was mostly about the purple fairy, BZH and QG and looks like the purple fairy and mien tian are going to team up against QG 

Second episode BZH checks QG pulse and senses she has feeling for someone and she lies and says it dong fang.. The purple fairy breaks the barrier to BZH house and invades it and gets QG life stone and discovers she is his calamity ...He tried to stop her from seeing it but sensed it and arrived to late.  He tries to convince her to leave QG alone/see his side of things **I think ** but then she goes after QG to kill her whose having dinner with dong fang and tang bo.  Dong fang shields QG with his body and gets injured and BZH shows up to protect QG and has a fight with the purple fairy. BZH does what he can to heal dong fang.. who still passes out anyway after coming to for a bit ...

Does anyone know what BZH said to the purple fairy on the cliff ? When  he walked away and she said I love you -- cause he stopped dead in his tracks and said something back

extended Chinese preview shows QG willingness to either lend or give SQM the flow of light harp if he  saves dong fang.  This is gonna cause a problem with the purple fairy and BZH because the regular preview shows them meeting SQM. 

QG is going to find out soon that BZH is MO Da GE because they have been showing that preview on Chinese tv for the past couple of days

Also about that wedding scene in the video..It looks like you can see  the Chinese character for happiness that's behind the curtains while their sitting in the bed and  I noticed that they are wearing similar clothing from this image in the novel but I'm not sure in what part of the novel it's from

@carmolita ohhhhh which preview video and at what time? Only time I remember seeing HQG wearing read is when BZH is chained and when they're in the field/meadow.

 

I've always been wondering....why did HQG's blood react weirdly when placed on the life stone? BZH had to use his magic to make it react like everyone else's....how on earth did none of the characters comment on it?

It's in the video that miaka fy  posted on page 9  , and it's at time 4:00 

The reason why her blood acts weirdly is because she has the demon blood.  No one saw it because BZH quickly changed it by covering it with the sleeve of his robe  so that no one would find out who she was or try to investigate.  That is also why he won't let anyone see her life stone ..because it changed to the color of his life stone if anyone saw it they would find out that she is his calamity and he is suppose to kill her.  A couple of episodes ago one of the sect leaders (the evil one, think his name is mo yan..) asked BZH for her life stone so that he can investigate .. BZH told him that she was his disciple and he will do the investigating!  He is using his position to try to protect and save her, so even thou he is cold he sees far and tries to save everyone.  But I wonder if part of this is guilt because if he had of saved her father back then she may have had a better or different life  But then again this is there fate and he knows that ...I'm sure he has already seen this much

@‌evori  I agree.. but  what I think it all comes down to is personality.  To me it seems that Xi Zun has always sort of forced herself on BZH and it seemed to be all about her and what she wants ... demanding his love. I've yet to see her ask him what he truly wants or show her sincere compassion toward him without bringing up the love issue.  QG has always done things for BZH and it's like he never experienced those types of things before.. Such as putting food in his bowl to eat ...worrying if he has eaten enough or even likes the way something taste.. which he has probably never had done before or at least he may not remember since he maybe more than a century old.  Even taking care of his surroundings, washing his clothes and her desire to fix his hair.  These sort of things he would have to ask a disciple to do but QG does these things for him without him having to ask because she cares and of her own free will and desire to see him comfortable and happy.  No doubt this has stirred up a new emotion in him, because someone is expressing their emotions to him through their actions without telling him directly like Xi Zun. 

A situation like that would be awkward which maybe why its hard for him to relate to Xi Zun ... I'm sure it must bother him every time he sees her because he knows how she feels and doesn't know why she does the things she do ~ whether it's friendship, desire, love or hope for a relationship and doesn't want to give her false hope where there is none ... so he shuns Xi Zun all together whenever possible

On the other hand with QG she sees the world through innocent eyes and only wants to see the good in everyone and protect people the way she has never been protected.   She is slowly  beginning to realize  that she has feelings for BZH she  has never told him how she feels. **I can only imagine how deep her feeling will be when she discovers that he is Mo ge ge**  Although BZH currently  just sees her as his disciple , QG has never forced her emotions on him and keeps them to herself.  BUT her actions are stirring feelings in him which he doesn't know what to call them because he has cultivated himself to have none.  So to him the things she do as his disciple are normal   but the happiness she has while doing it is infectious to him.  I wouldn't be surprised if Jealousy becomes a strong emotion for him because he's been alone in the hall of emotionless for a long time and unintentionally took this girl as his disciple who made him smile for the first time in forever... Why would he want to share her with some one else.  In one preview even dong fang is going to ask BZH to give QG to him and says that he will forget  and stop everything because he loves her and wants to be with her  and BZH declines to release/give his disciple away to him**** as we know dong fang is the little boy whose father was killed in an earlier episode and he swore revenge on BZH/ I also think he is the lord of decay***

I wouldn't be surprised if BZH may start to hate QG in some small innocent way for causing him to feel emotions that didn't exist for him in the beginning.  As he is some what emotionally and mentally conflicted right now.  But  when you think about it  ever since he saved her long ago  it was inevitable that there fates would be crossed is this way. Because just like mo ge ge has never left her heart.  I think she has always consumed his thoughts in some way.

 

In one of the preview scenes both BZH and QG are both sitting on a bed together in red I've also seen that same image in a drawn picture  in the novel summary.  Does anyone know if that is a scene after they get married??
