No he didn't get to explain it to her, she was too enraged and he was kinda in shock. He only thought about it after he got home - thats where we got the flashback to the plan being discussed and Hye Won overhearing. Grandma is still suspicious of HJ in general, the other two are oblivious as usual - HW found out she's not pregnant when she found a delivery of feminine napkins with HJ's name on the receipt. JC knows she's pregnant, but he's upset at how he found out. Goofy ML saw her with a pregnancy test kit, and got threw up on, during her morning sickness. Goofy male lead thinking everyone had to already know, tells San Duel across the hall to take care of his sister because she pregnant, and San Duel told about everyone else - as of this episode, everyone knows including Grandma and Crazy Aunt. Not yet - the phone call was instigated by Hye Ji. Hye Ji is trying to sow discontent between JC & HW and now that JC is clearly growing jealous of Goofy lead, she wants him in even closer circles, so when she mentions him to Chairman Romeo, he tells her that the company had already tried to hire him as he had/has a stellar reputation as a lawyer. HJ tells him he should try again, and thats when we get the phone call. I think the recognition on Goofy's part of the call is that he like Hye Won carries deep respect for Art Mom, and he knows about Chairman Romeo's philandering's.

Well we've had two big reveals ... - Dad sending Hye Ji to a home was a real plan. Before the split at the park, Mom & Dad are discussing the girls at home and the plan was for Mom to take both girls because Dad had to leave the country for work - Mom said no as raising Hye Won alone and working herself was almost too much, so Dad sys he'll arrange for Hye Ji to go to a home for a year til he comes back. Hye Won overhears this, and that now appears why she forced the switch at the Park - She was trying to protect her sister from the home and would go herself. - Dad knows who Hye Ji is. While coming to visit Hye Won at her house, Dad accidentally runs into Hye Ji. There is an instant of recognition in Dads eyes as he asks if they've met before - Initially, he is very courteous to her believing she is the MIL Hye Won has been complaining about. He asks very humbly for her to try and understand Hye Won. As he's talking Hye Ji is clearly becoming enraged as he once again seems to be favoring Hye Won, and harshly refuses his wishes. At this point Dad goes into elder lecture mode about causing others pain & karma, etc. Hye Ji in anger snaps at him, telling him he's guilty of the same thing, and he doesn't even recognize his own daughter ... its down hill from there as the pieces fall into place - Hye Ji threatens him into silence by stating that if he reveals her identity, she will take down Hye Won too. Kinda of a weak threat. A couple of smaller events ... - Hye Ji has taken on the persona of "Angela" as she dates/uses San Duel in secret BIG plot hole as she is risking everything just to poke SD for info about Hye Won - if they get seen even once by nay of the others Hye Ji would be hard pressed to explain it to put it mildly. - Gold digger Mom knows Hye Won is in Korea While meeting with Dad, who was trying to pay her off to stop looking for their daughters, Hye Won called Dad, and Mom answered when he was distracted. - Hye Ji is trying to sow distrust between Ji Chang and Hye Won - sometimes it works - JC is now growing jealous of Goofy ML as he and Hye Won have been meeting coincidentally, and for the investigation into the artists murder.

[Drama 2024] Pyramid Game - 피라미드 게임

Ran across this drama this weekend and just finished bingeing the first 4 episodes - OMG this drama is incredible ( I was honestly surprised to see there wasn't already a thread for this so I created one ) This drama is D-A-R-K The protagonist is is such a grey character, it leaves you wondering how easily she could slip into becoming a villain in her own right. The villain is horrifying - and again OMG, so well acted - is she just playing a part for her parents designs, or is she controlling it all? What stands out beyond the leads, are the host of secondary characters, almost all of whom I've never seen before, all doing incredible jobs. While this drama does require the suspension of disbelief, that things could go on unhindered in a high school, it is so well done, you almost don't realize it. Is anyone else watching? -

She begins classes there in grade 2 class 5. On her first day at her new school, she notices her class being generally peaceful, but also a bit weird. She has to participate in a strange vote called the Pyramid Game, where the students in grade 2 class 5 participate. The game is held once a month and it is like a popularity vote, but the student who gets the lowest number of votes gets an "F" and becomes the target of school violence. Sung Soo-Ji gets zero number of votes and becomes the next target. She is bullied by her classmates and nobody seems to care about that in her class. Sung Soo-Ji tries to get out of her predicament and also tries end the Pyramid Game at her school.

So is wrong to question Oppa's search for real estate? One might consider it an odd choice of actions when the someone WHO JUST STABBED YOU is still out there ... shouldn't he be a little bit concerned in catching his attacker?

I think she might actually do it herself by following through with Grandma's instruction for closing out the Gallery - She knows its illegal per contract the Gallery signed but I could see her trying - getting caught - and Grandma denying she gave the order. Uh just to clarify, I think she was asking if she was going to give birth, not ... hey sis can I have your newborn? That said, little sister is now clearly on the hunt for a child. HJ seems to be seeking assistance from the Korean criminal underground, so it would be an intriguing twist if the baby stealers take HW's child and give it to HJ with her not realizing whose child it actually is. That seems a bit more fun than the straight up ... I'm stealing your baby. Next episode we get to see how sharp Chairman Romeo really is - He's caught HJ with a marriage registration form, a spilled bottle of wine, and a text from shady underworld types. I really hope she doesn't Jedi mind trick him again, he can't be that dumb. I'm curious to see what they do with Ji Chang - He and HW are clearly headed for a split, but what then? He can't get involved with Little Sister when his dad has already, thats just all kinds of EWWW. Besides it looks like Little Sister is going to plague San Duel for awhile which will make the dark cloud following Ji Chang even darker.

An-Na's true bloodline was only revealed 3 episodes ago, all initial parties agreed it was important to keep that knowledge a secret, yet half of the main players already know she's alive and we're probably only an episode or two from them discovering she's not in the US Gotta be one of the quickest secret reveals I've ever seen After todays episode of SR missing on SY, I started to think that might be JH's ticket to finally rid himself of her ... granted it would involve him going to jail for alittle while but ...

Okay, someone help me out here - What exactly is required to "register" a marriage in Korea? Almost every drama I've ever watched made it seem that the couple themselves control the issue, but in todays episode Grandma makes a proclamation that she will only allow Little Sister to register her marriage to Chairman Romeo after she gives birth. How does she have a say in it to begin with? ... or is that actually part of the law? In other news it looks like Little Sister is sterile so we definitely got some baby stealing in our future.

A question ... When it comes to Dailies, am I imagining things or are MBC dramas alot more polished than KBS dramas? I'm not talking story arcs/plots, they both have their ridiculous moments, just general looks, lighting, wardrobe, sets, etc. What do you guys think?

Okay Chingu's need alittle help ... After dropping this drama for the last 65 episodes or so, I've been bingeing and almost completely caught up ... with lots & lots of FFWDing I got a pretty good grip on everything, but I'm missing something major - What is Yo Han's relationship with An-Na? I know An-Na and Song-Yi were switched, but I must've FFWD'd too much and missed his connection.

HW was in her room re-reading the artist "suicide" note when HJ walked in on her - HW tried to hide the note and agreed to go downstairs and have tea with HJ to get out of the room - HJ planned the whole thing, and tripped herself colliding with HW.

Another episode goes to Crazy Aunt and another rousing performance Chairman Romeo gets honorable mention for his exhausted exasperation throughout the scene. Bio Mom&Dad lie to each other over both girls, Dad now believes HJ is dead, and Mom sorta believes HW is abroad studying ... big question is who finds out first the other is lying? HW doesn't do herself any favors, after clearly seeing the fallout from keeping something from JC, she does it yet again and fails to tell him about her pregnancy. She does tell her aunt thus ensuring another issue if JC finds out from someone else before HW musters the courage to tell him. Crazy theory Part:2 ... if HW has a boy, he's the heir the monk prophesied about. Give the stunt double their due ... that fall down the stairs looked too real ... hopefully HJ really knocked herself out

I know Ji Chang is suffering because of his mothers death, but giving San Duel his friendship bracelet back was kind of a di&k move - San Duel was just excited from finding his angel. Crazy theory time ... What if the ML isn't the missing son? What if San Duel is? His mother, wicked as she was to Hye Won, did come from money.

Whoa! hadn't thought of that ... but yeah, they could go all Miss Montecristo on us. If that happens, Hye Won might end up being a murderer too in the end ...

All true - but she's also HW's missing sister It goes without question that presently HW will go after HJ for the murder of the artist, and vengeance for what she believed happened with Art MIL ... (but didn't) Somewhere along the way the recording will come out and HW will be prepared to pounce and I suspect about that time HJ will be revealed. She will level all the childhood accusations at HW, how she sent her down this path, will HW try to redeem her sister or won't she? ... again, at this point I give it 50/50 ... we'll see

I was going more on the envy/jealousy angle - both villains are envious & jealous of the FL - if Little Sister ends up with HW's baby, and yet the child likes HW better, we're looking at the same outrage. I'd give it 50/50 at this point - Little Sisters sidekick clearly doesn't trust her as evidenced by her secretly recording their conversation ... that recording will no doubt surface in the future when sidekick gets threatened. However, the FL was desperate to find her sister, the fact that its now her enemy might change things, might not. We'll see. Puking on him due to morning sickness? ... don't think so ... but you never know with dailies

So the goofy ML had a teenage crush on Hye Won, and at their first meeting as adults ... she puked all over him ... don't think I've seen that in a daily before

Oh and don't forget the Miss Montecristo angle ... while the child in that drama wasn't hers, the fact that the little boy was drawn more to her than his own mother drove the villain crazy. I think we can expect something along the same lines.

Looks like thats the road we're on - per preview, Hye Won is checking the calendar with that "might be" preggers look. Looks like her sidekick did Since it now looks like the 2ML is leaving Hye Won for keeping the truth from him, and we have teenage backstory for Hye Won and the goofy ML, looks like we're heading for a baby theft.
