I mean there's a whole episode to go and he's the lead ... Hyun Soo isn't going to die in Episode 15. He might be in a coma for some of Episode 16 or lose his memory or spend time in jail but he's not dying.

I knew Hae Soo was probably a goner when she kept saying she would turn herself in later and then Ji Won wouldn't let her. In a thriller/melodrama that's a surefire sign that they are marked for death.

I wouldn't blame him for losing it since he spent his childhood being suspected and psychos are threatening him and his family and framing him for murder but it looks to me like he may be doubting Ji Won plus didn't want to be arrested so did that so the CCTV would show Ji Won as the victim..

I wish we could have Episode 12 tomorrow, but for the one episode this week, Episode 11 was perfect as it concludes the first story arc and sets up the last.
I am kind of surprised by everything that happened this episode. One particular thing I didn't expect to happen until Episode 16 and it makes me a little nervous about what's going to happen in the remaining five episodes.

I mean it could go either way... I still think it's real Baek Hee Sung who is the accomplice. BUT Baek Man Woo is shady as well. But they make a purposeful distinction between father and son. While son seems to bite his nails, his father is cutting them neatly.
BUT that could be a red herring.
But the biggest question is: no matter who was the accomplice of the two. How did they meet Do Min Seok?
I wonder if Hyun Soo received his counseling in Seoul and if the real Hee Sung ever received any counseling.

Yeah, Hyun Soo is definitely having a panic attack above. I have palpitations when my anxiety is high but you can feel like you are having a heart attack.

Maybe she trying to protect him not hanging around her while the police are looking after him. Maybe she therefore want him far way from her as the case got figured out without him getting more involved
That's what I immediately assumed. Detective Choi knows who he is and he might end up giving him time since it looks like JW is begging him but Hyun Soo is a wanted criminal and JW knows he's been putting himself in danger. Telling him that is JW telling him to go hide again and be safe IMO.

Yeah, we don't need that terminally ill-plot. I think it would make sense though for Do Hyun Soo to have physical and mental reactions from the pressure put on him. He can't really express his feelings on the outside, so it's showing in his body.
Yeah, I thought that was what was happening in last week's episodes. It looks like anxiety/panic attacks to me.

The only problem I have with the script is so the Baeks decided to fake a whole RickRoll'D Son to protect the dad’s job and reputation?
like he will lose his place if son is injured in an hit and run .. Is this real?
can they just rule it as an accident and heal Do Hyunso in secret and let him go?I think they would have healed DHS and let him go if their son hadn't ended up in a coma. They faked a son to protect themselves not from the hit and run/healing DHS in secret but from whatever they did to their son.

Na PD does Three Meals a Day and other shows like it that are quiet and slow-paced. I admit, I'm not a fan of those type of variety shows. I like the competitive ones and with those you get the big personalities and members making fun of each other. KJK making fun of JH was nothing compared to how he and others make fun of each other on Running Man or how CTH and the other members of 2D1N teased each other. It took me a while to get used to when I started watching Korean variety shows.
I don't know what CTH and KJK are like in real life - though everyone always praises CTH - or what their friendships are like, but their job is to entertain viewers, and I think they both have their variety shows personas and don't really think about how someone who is not used to variety will feel.

Obviously GW is a moron and a loser. The richard simmons he was spouting about elites being above the law was complete nonsensical trash as well - but even as he was spouting off that drivel it seemed more like something he said to go along with the flow of the conversation and impress her rather than what he really believed. He just seems like a weakling who was raised in the wrong environment that just kept getting beatdown nonstop. Plus he didnt talk to JYS to pick a fight with her. All he was doing was recruiting her. She started to mouth off to him and started the disrespect between them. Then she dumped a hot drink on him after continuing to insult him. Seriously anyone in GW's situation would go insane in that situation and want to smack JYS. Its realistic too because in real life, anyone with a mouth like JYS is bound to get hurt once she pops off to the wrong person.
It's not the first time he spouted off drivel about elites being above the law. Yes, he learned that from his father, but even if he didn't fully believe it, he certainly had no problem repeating it. JYS mouthed off to him because he confessed to murder. She dumped the hot drink when he lunged for her. Maybe JYS was playing with fire, but I'm not going to feel sorry for a murderer or think JYS deserved a smack or worse for trying to bring a murderer to justice and expressing her disdain in the process.

@DeepakmahajanThat’s the way I see it going too. Her husband is still hurting and it’s affecting his job and relationships with his new wife and daughter. Her parents are struggling too. It would be devastating to get her back only to lose her again but healing too, perhaps.

I believe JH doesn't have much participation in the business because he keeps his nose to the grindstone. He has been doing many variety shows and low budget dramas and he doesn't have endorsements. If he were into the business he would've been getting better work and more rest.
His company's CEO may be thuggish but he is(...was) really good in grooming new talents.
Once Sidus was home of largest number of hallayu stars but currently they don't have anyone of that caliber except Kim Woo Bin and Kim Yoo Jung.
Kim Woo Bin just signed with a different agency so they are down another one. I wish we could have seen what a different agency could have done for JH, but I guess he must be okay with the state of things.

This is sad. I hope low ratings don’t affect the drama. I get the feeling cable dramas don't cut dramas the way big networks do if they don't perform? Let's hope tomorrow is better.
These are relatively normal ratings for OCN. Most of the OCN dramas I watched last year were getting ratings in the 1% range and the dramas weren't affected. Buy yes, hopefully tomorrow is better.

Ratings even lower than last week- 1.68%. I officially don't understand the Korean viewer...
Itaewon Class got over 9% today. It's based on a popular webtoon. TMWYS is going to struggle on Saturdays. It is what it is.

@phoenix24 Thanks for posting the comments. I do think posters are sometimes tougher than the audience as a whole.
Viewers are all different. Me? I'm easy. I watched 25 k-dramas last year and enjoyed them even though most were full of tropes, plot holes, questionable acting, logic fails, etc. I watch, enjoy, and don't think much and then come online, read the discussions, and question my life choices .

@Biology Lesson I agree with @dramafan33 that hopefully it gets to 5 but considering how many OCN dramas stay in the 1-2% range, 3 isn’t bad.
I said this in JH’s thread, but as much as I like this genre, I rarely care about the killers. I guess I’m just glad they didn’t hire an actor with such a distinctive jawline like in Voice lol.
I enjoyed Episode 2. I’m liking SooYoung, the actress, and Soo Young the character.

Being a fan of JH aside (as we will surely support his work) but in all honesty, you think the 1st episode is "umph" enough to attract new viewers/new JH fans? I find it pretty bland. 1st episode is very important as it either attracts or people switched channel. I hope it will be more "umph" in the next episode.
I didn’t think the first episode had a lot of “umph” but there have been a lot of dramas that have done well even though I, personally, found the first episode(s) lackluster or downright bad so I’ve given up trying to predict what viewers will do lol. That said, the Knetz comments had pretty low number of likes which doesn’t bode well for buzz or “word of mouth” bringing in new viewers. This is probably a drama that skews older though.
I’m guessing OHJ couldn’t walk but now can and is keeping it a secret for whatever reason. I think he does have issues with his eyes (since they’ve emphasized the five senses) but is not totally blind.

@The Reel Life That was basically my reaction too. I watch a lot of OCN dramas and don’t usually find the police/serial killer ones particularly scary. I tend to find the killers rather lame instead of scary or interesting which is my main quibble with this genre.
I wasn’t expecting much from the Saturday ratings when I saw it was competing against Itaewon Class. Hopefully, ratings will be higher on Sunday but the last OCN dramas really struggled so who knows.

I think he might have lost his sight during an accident caused by the antagonist. He lost his loved one, his sight and everything. So he became a recluse until he realised the murderer was actually not dead and so he returned to the police force determined to nab him. Soo young who has photographic memory will become his eyes. That's why he says "Tell me what you saw" in the teaser.. This is what I think.. not sure how if the story goes like this but it think it is getting more exciting.
I think you are right. Now the title and teaser make a lot more sense.

I love this look. It's exactly what I was picturing in my head.
I'm probably on my own again in wanting the drama to be as dark and gritty and twisted as possible. That's how I like OCN dramas.

I thought the premiere was surprisingly funny. It's kind of an oddball cast on paper, but I liked them together. I can't believe three of them drank the Kkanaricano. The production team obviously couldn't believe it either lol. I saw that knetz were complaining that the PD was shown too much, but I honestly didn't notice.

I like his hair in Voice though.
As for this one, I have seen some ppl complimenting it. It is not great but since we have been forwarned about its length, so I have already prepared myself for anything haha.
Suddenly I thought of something, would you guys prefer to see him in a hot sexy role with nice hair but as a supporting character (Bang-won) or as one with bad hair (Bad Papa, TMWYS) but as the main lead?
I'm a bad JH fan, I guess, because I don't care what hairstyle he has or whether he's a supporting character or a lead.
