Jo- Without the subs, I hated the new spin on Hye-rin but watching it and seeing it as a whole it makes sense. And it makes good drama.

seeing her natural affection and so happy is a bit refreshing. We've seen her suffer so much and is filled with so much angst. She meets a mysterious man who always seems to help her at the greatest of timing. Bonus is she's being arranged with him. Of course, we are seeing it more in Dong Chul's perspective (this is HIS story), but you mentioned so yourself how Hye-rin is just different kind of smitten with DC. With Dong Wook she was very hidden, very tortured, very silent... with Dong Chul it's like she has confidence and is just happy to be around such an enigma.

LDH has this infectious sort of way to portray happiness so you kind of go along with it, but part of me is so scared she'll really get heartbroken once everything is revealed and once she knows what DC's true intentions are.

This is what makes it exciting.

I do have a feeling though, he will fall for her once he least expects it.

^ Yeah, LDH does have her own unique way of portraying happiness. It's like what you guys said earlier, that when she's happy, her eyes brighten and light up, like she's indulging in her own world of happiness. That's why I love how she's smiling a lot when she's with DC... not only because she's found someone she liked - because she has finally moved on - happily.

I'm also a bit worried that DC might break her heart without him even knowing anything at all. It's sad that her character has to go thru the one-sided love route every time. I sincerely hope they would paint a better love story for HR this time around. She didn't get what she want from DW, neither did she find true love from Baek's affections. I wish she can find somebody who loves her back - as much as she does. Sadly tho, I don't think DC has any feelings for her yet. Even in Ep 32, altho they spoke a lot more, DC still seemed distant. Even I thought HR was beauuuutiful in the blue dress during the dinner with DC and her family, even DW wanted to spend some time with pretty HR, why can't DC sense something? (meant as a joke..hehhee..)

I'm really looking forward to the possible spoiler that lilcrash posted. I wish it would happen - any way would do. As DC's girlfriend or as DW's best friend. DC and DW will be there to see her leave - and I will be yepping like crazy. HAHAHA..

Edit: There was a scene in Ep 32, whereby DC said to HR over the phone, that he had something to tell her? I wonder what was that he had intended to tell her... hmmmm....

in Episode 31 I loved the way he looked at her when she slowly stepped inside Mr.Chun's gym (I wish I made a cap but I didn't download the HQ yet). Anyway, here are more Epi 32 caps.

I think it would be pretty lame if the pd and writer had YR marry Mike and afterwards, DC would continue on with her. It would not make sense, they might as well had DC marry YR. Also, the pd went to great lengths to emphasize DC and Mike's friendship, so how can DC now betray his best friend. Although, there are instances when one would think that DC may still have feelings for YR, howerver, his dialogue negates that. As I mentioned in the EOE thread, DC has called down YR twice for not being a good wife; first time was when he helped Mike escape; second was in episode 31, when YR asked why DC and Mike were keeping secret from her, he answered "because you are not a good wife". Now, why would a man, who obviously has high moral standards carry on with a married woman, or for that matter, entertain thoughts of loving her when she is the wife of his best friend. So far, the most recent episodes showed HR in a more favorable light than YR. YR is being portrayed recently as being conniving and manipulative. What could be worse than a daughter betraying her own father. Her scenes are very tiring to watch because all she talks about is what she wants; its all about her; DC should not go to Japan, she told her father that she wants to run the casino and that he should get rid of DC, DC should leave the casino and be on his own. YR's agenda is to be with DC; she wants DC to be on his own and at the same time, she wants to run her father's business. Her motivation was obvious when she told DC's uncle that "we want to be independent". Maybe its just me but I am not liking the way DC is being portrayed recently as this super stud that every woman would fall for. I prefer HR to be more like the HR in Washington.

Dong-chul / Song Seung-heon

About MBC's description, I wouldnt 100% rely on it... The MBC description says that HR is like both a saint and witch but until now... HR is not even close to a witch... And also, it says that MHR steals her sister's lover but thats not even true.. So the description is not accurate.. as someone (I cant remember who! sorry!) stated before that the description was done possibly for advertising and making people want to watch EOE!

Well, if it is true, I think that will be HR.. because HR is connected to DW... Also it wouldnt make sense if it was YR because YR has no relation to DW..

someone even said Ji Hyun. Early speculations was HR... but heh it could be Young Ran too. The MBC description so far for Hye-rin is NOT on point. None of it is on point. I wonder when she'll be a femme fatale? Will she ever be?

And well isn't HR the one MBC described as the woman who will get to have a relationship with both brothers (separate times of course).
