Do you think what YR said to DC at the casino in Ep 31 "Don't go to Japan with Min Hye Rin" is going to have an effect on DC's mindset, maybe everytime he will try to lean toward HR, that line from YR will hold him back. I just wish she never said that to him. I want DC to let himself go to HR and not feel obligated that he has to remain alone.

I see a theme here for Hye Rin: she's always SECOND:

1. She's the second daughter of Chairman Min, borne to him by his second woman.

2. She's second best to her sister in her parents' eyes.

3. She placed second in her law school entrance exam and placed second again for her final bar exams.

4. She's the second woman for Dong Wook and for him, she's second best to Ji Hyun.

5. She is *again* the potential second woman for Dong Chul and I really fear that she'll be second best to Young Ran.

So here's my plead: stop making this intelligent, kind and beautiful woman second best! Seriously, the writers need to break this cycle and let Hye Rin finally have the happiness that she deserves. I think the first person to place her FIRST and have the feelings returned would be the true love of her life.

Oh yeah, I did not mention Baek because even though he seemed like he placed Hye Rin first, the truth is that he placed himself first. If he really loved Hye Rin--as a person and not as a possession--then he would have understood that she's the the type of person to want to hurt her sister and also be forced into an engagement out of obligation.

And there is a disappointment look on HR that time, when DC just farewell and went to his room. I mean, did she expect something here? NO, I don't mean bed scene, but maybe tea in the room (DC has a fabulous dining room, I guess that's the top luxury suite) or some more talk?

Anyway, YR and DC I am feeling sad. DC can't get out, and man, I just don't want them to treat HR this way. She's like running after DC. I want her to know more and just act cold with him, or keeps the distance after something happens, so that he has to think about her. some thing like that. This progress is good but not very fair for HR.

Are they trying to make DC struggle a little bit, deciding bt the girls? Because the acting is confusing sometimes so I just wonder what's the plot is?

I got the same impression too, HR was disappointed that DC was ready to say goodnight and see you tomorrow.

Since YR got married, I was really excited about the HR/DC pairing. But so far I have been disappointed. I don't like to see DC and HR being 'match-make', all these dinner gathering/meeting involving HR's parents already feel pushy and "too arranged" foo me. In some scenes, I can almost feel DC not really feeling the atmosphere. I really wanted to see DC going after HR because he finds her capable, attractive and strong.

I don't mind seeing HR being the first to fall for him.. i find her stolen glances of him adorable.. but then imogene had to remind me they're in their 30s already! lol.. But then again, they don't have a variety of experience. It's their second chance in love... so it's quite understandable for them to act this way.

you surely have a strange imagination! I can't stop laughing reading this.. instead of both brothers being in love with her, both DW and HR will fall for DC! HR will surely have a hard time beating DW, who DC would even risk his entire life for.

So probably DC will see her as a friend like DW started with her? Or will this be a forced arrangement? Whadyathink? I wouldn't mind a forced arrangement cliche storyline. I mean in the bar, she was just happy. I guess jaded Hye-rin isn't so jaded after all.

Oh wow. Hye-rin did look jilted and disappointed that the night ended shortly with Dong Chul...

while Dong Chul seemed to have had a good time in the bar but he seems rather burdened when he got back to the hotel room. A bit disturbed, like he's chained--- he was not in a pleasant mood at least when he recalled what YR said about not going with HR in Japan. Why did he contemplate those words? Does he feel guilty? Does he feel that hanging out with Hye-rin is already betraying his promise to Young Ran? He was really conflicted in the hotel room.

Her parents are flocking to DC right now, but once he will be reprimanded as a gangster arms dealer... I'm pretty sure they will disapprove.

I don't think she's in love yet. She just interests in DC now, feeling attracted and feeling like .. . flirting (come on, they are over 30 now). but love at this age requires more thought and more time. I really hope that she being pushed towards DC, while DC is not ready yet (whatever reason work or YR or just he's not ready) then she will give up. She surely does not want to hang out with a guy feelings pressure all the time. So they are just buddies (like with DW now) and she's free. And some more time passed, DC may see something in her, or his feelings, and it starts again. A little like with DW but I don't mind that way.

If they don't want DC and HR, it would be fine, just make it clear, like Woo Suk and the journalist before. No more circle, please.
