Kwon Sang Woo, Soo Ae, Jung Yunho, and Go Joon Hee at "Queen of Ambition" script reading

The scene of the script reading of SBS drama ‘Queen of Ambition‘ has been revealed, creating a buzz.

The casting of ‘Queen of Ambition’ was recently wrapped up with Kwon Sang Woo, Soo Ae, Jung Yunho (aka, TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho) among other actors and on December 6th, the first script reading took place at the SBS Drama Production Center in Ilsan. There were about 60 members of the drama in attendance including actors Kwon Sang Woo, Soo Ae, Jung Yunho, Go Joon Hee, Lee Duk Hwa, Kim Sung Ryung, and Cha Hwa Yeon, director Jo Young Kwang, and the staff members.

Kwon Sang Woo, who will be playing the male leading role, read in a caring voice that fit the character he will be playing perfectly, who is dedicated and pure in his love but was also witty with comic ad-lib. Soo Ae read the script in a collected voice but in the parts where the emotional threshold was crossed, her voice reflected the changes in emotion.

Jung Yunho really shined as well, reading the script naturally as if really having a conversation. Lee Duk Hwa brought laughter using his old hit phrase and saying, “Drama daebak, please.”

Director Jo Young Kwang shared, “I am happy about the great script and the great ensemble cast. Let’s create a great drama working together thinking that each one of us is the main character.”

‘Queen of Ambition’ is scheduled to premier in January.

In the pictures, Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young are both wearing caps, posing next to each other. Kwon Sang Woo is peaking his head in from the back of Son Tae Young, and Son Tae Young is revealing beauty that makes it hard to believe that she's already a mother.

The cast and production crew of forthcoming SBS drama “Night King” gears up towards its January premiere, holding a poster shoot on December 10. Verdi Media, the production company behind the drama recently released a photo from the shoot, featuring all the drama’s leads Kwon Sang Woo, Soo Ae, Kim Sung Ryung, Go Joon Hee and DBSK’s Yunho.

In the still released, the drama’s cast are shown with wide smiles and posing with the V signs. Apart from the poster shoot, the cast also went on to shoot the title sequences and some teasers. The concept was a classic black-and-white look, making for elegant dresses for the ladies and dapper suits for the gentlemen. 

Child actress Park Min Ha already teased about the poster shoot with a photo she took with Soo Ae. “Night King” had also already held its first script reading session earlier in the month.

“Night King” will take over the Monday-Tuesday slot of the currently airing “King of Dramas.”

"Yawang" Soo-ae and Kwon Sang-woo's first day

kwon Sang-woo and Soo-ae experienced their first day of "Yawang".

The first scene of "Yawang" was taken in front of Seo Kang University on the 12th. Soo-ae in the role of Da-hae was dressed in skinnies and a beige coat with ugg boots, trying to look like a 19 year old. She had to give up going to university because of her family's financial situation so she goes to find a friend to look for a tutor job. It was early morning but those who recognized Soo-ae waved and acknowledged her with cheers. Soo-ae woke up in the wee hour of 4AM in a weather temperature of -10 degrees but still managed to look elegant.

On the other hand, kwon Sang-woo took the scene where he is on a out-of-city bus fiddling with the die Da-hae gave him in the orphanage. He also acted out the scene where he has a drink with his friend after he looks for a job to make money for Da-hae's university school fees. Kwon said, "I don't believe in it yet but I have a feeling this drama is going make a hit".

Producer Jo Yeong-gwang said, "I hope to make a good drama based on excellent script and casting".

Behind "Yawang" Kwon Sang-woo is Son Tae-yeong

Son Tae-yeong has volunteered to be her husband's assistant. While she is taking a break from her work, she rolled up her sleeves for her husband kwon Sang-woo.

She posted the message, "KSW loves "Yawang""on her Facebook and various SNS. She was also seen at several events and supported the drama and her husband.

The family of three went on a vacation with their son Rook-hee before Kwon went into shoot. Son Tae-yeong is also taking more care of the child so that Kwon can concentrate on his work.

A source says, "Their love is quite unique. Like she served everyone with healthy food on the set during "Daemul - Big Thing", she is going to do something similar this time".

The two filmed outdoors in the poor village area of Seoul’s Jungneung-dong. The preview still cut showed the two carrying their possessions in boxes, suitcases and bags through the winding shantytown

The upcoming SBS drama, Yawang stars Soo Ae as Da Hae, a woman from a poor background who deeply aspires to become the First Lady. Ha Ryu (Kwon Sang Woo), stars as the man who sacrifices everything for Da Hae.






The two also filmed a scene at the location at night where they overlook the city’s lights at night and promises their love to each other forever.

The drama’s production praised the two co-stars’ chemistry and promised fans were in for a treat when the drama begins airing.
