*** In Korea they have tradition called "White Day" and is celebrated annually on March 14th. This is a day opposite to Valentine’s Day. That's when it's payback time. Men who received chocolates from their love partners on Valentines Day usually pay them back on White Day with candy instead of chocolates. . Japan, Taiwan and China also celebrate this… I read that “White Day” was started by the Japanese confectionery industry association. Every year, it seems, there are people in the media who bash it as one of the most overly commercialized commemorative days in Korea. “White Day” may have been predestined to be commercialized to some extent. :)

class="titleNews"[Poll] Which Flower Boy Actor Do You Want Candy from on White Day?

The boys got their chocolate on Valentine′s Day, and now it′s the girls′ turns!

In Korea, boys confess their love with candy on White Day, or March 14. With White Day right around the corner, we had to ask, which of these flower boy actors do you want some yummy candy from?

[Poll] Which Flower Boy Actor Do You Want Candy from on White Day?

Lee Min Ho

Lee Min Ho has recently taken a very violent role in the movie Gangnam 1970, but we all know what a huge sweetheart he is.

He recently ended promotions for his movie, but he′s spending a lot of time traveling around and greeting fans through talk concerts and other activities.

@sarawis WELCOME! I think that what you posted is similar to what @zinnia has already translated for us HERE
==============Interesting news on the power of LEE MIN HO:8babb8f9jw1eptffgl5aaj20dw0hyq5p.jpg

SAMSONITE Marketing recently reported that total RED bags sales rose by 43% in January vs. last year and the "VoV" bags hawked by LMH now known as "Lee Min Ho backpacks" quickly went out of stock setting new sales records in Asia! claps.gif [source Asian Economies SK via China Ajunews
Incidentally, I saw a tweet from a J-Minoz HERE that the Comme Des Garcon sneakers sported by LMH in the Samsonite event went out of stock in Japan a few days after Minho wore it.  I doubt, though, if he was paid to wear it.
Speaking of endorsements, I do not see any more SEMIR stuff---so I reckon that he took on TNGT (that is expanding in China and other Asian countries) in lieu of it.  Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again:  4 (or 5?) years of SEMIR is enough!  He's outgrown them and deserves a more stylish and classier clothing brand.  For a casual brand, TNGT is def better suited to him.  Don't you guys think so?B_KDH-kU8AA0r6g.jpg:large

"For a casual brand, TNGT is def better suited to him.  Don't you guys think so?"
Hey Pixie you super minoz woman :) I'll answer your question with my limited fashion knowledge. I am not very familiar with either brand, nor can I compare properly as I don't really know Minho's "style" yet or what he likes to wear most (other than his casual airport looks that might give me a little clue). Also I don't know how the other brand that he dropped was like...What I can say is that he does look comfy and casual chique in these clothes you've posted, and I'm guessing he does wear a lot of blazers, crisp shirts and some casual accessories so I'll say yes they do suit him well! Tho I am more of a jeans and Ts/shirts type of person (Kim Tan's Cali style) but Minho looks awesome in everything, especially his bday suit :P
Warm welcome to @sarawis enjoy your stay :)  tumblr_me918mLz2h1r3n4xoo1_1280.jpg

I hesitated to write about this issue again, but I can't help it.

I thought everybody here agreed on not comparing Minho with any other artist on any occasion. But it seems that I was wrong.

I just want to ask one thing. Is it okay with comparing Minho with other artists when we try to praise Minho while is it not the other way around?

Can't we just talk about Minho and praise Minho without mentioning others? I don't mean that we should not mention other artists' name at all. There are many cases we talk about Minho and other artists together, of course. But it's not absolutely necessary for us to compare Minho and other artists to praise Minho, in my opinion.

And I'd like to add that I don't mean that I'm right and you're wrong or something like that. I just thought that it's our tacit agreement, which some of you can disagree. Some people may not care at all in the first place whether Minho is compared or not. However, as a fan I don't want to see Minho compared and put down in other threads or communities and I just want to treat other artists here like the way I want Minho to be treated.

No matter what I say, all of you can do as you wish like I do. Even though some fans keep bringing other artists here and comparing them with Minho, how can I stop them? I just want to share my two cents no matter what others may think.

class="content-title"8 Hot Male Actors Cross-dressing in K-Dramas

Cross-dressing is an extremely popular trope in K-Dramas. One of your first K-Dramas might have been “Coffee Prince” or “You’re Beautiful.” There are so many, but did you notice that most of the gender-bending involves females cross-dressing as males rather than males dressing as females? While we enjoy women cross-dressing as men, especially if it’s for a good reason such as in “Painter of the Wind” and “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” it’s all the more exciting when we see men dressing up as women in K-Dramas since it is a bit more rare. So let’s go ahead and check out some of our favorite male actors dressing up as women.

(skipped unrelated.....)

7. Lee Min Ho

LeeMinHo

Prior to his “Boys Over Flowers” success and fame, Lee Min Ho dressed up as a school girl in “Mackerel Run.” I couldn’t recognize him when I first saw this picture, how about you?

That’s all for our list of hot male actors cross-dressing in K-Dramas. Hopefully there will be more to come for our enjoyment. Which actors were the most convincing and who else would you like to see dressed up as a female? Vote and share your comments below!

Thank you for the translation @Mosquito That's a very well though out answer where he wants to be a long loved and cherished book, never to be forgotten. I agree with him on that desire, to receive never ending and immortal love is a HUGE feat, only someone who believes he deserves all that love and more can think of something like this! Love his confidence, and his need to preserve his self-worth in the eyes and hearts of his fans!

@Mosquito

Thank you for the translation.

About no.3, judging from your translation, I guess that the Taiwanese translator used the word '理性' instead of '異性', right? The original text can be translated literally "I don't look at(or see) the looks of the opposite sex [regarding his ideal type in this context]. I like a woman with a charming appeal rather than a woman with good looks."

Just saw this somewhere and I was wondering how accurate this list is, and if so, then is it true that LMH didn't make the top 40 list this year? Can someone please confirm?

Yes the Chinese translation indeed used "理性" which means rational which I also did a cross reference to the Korean writings "이상의 외모를 보지 않는다. 외모보다는 매력적인 사람이." and I did not find major discrepancy, using my very basic & amauteur Hangul (literal) translation. Just curious, which Korean characters are meant to represent 'opposite sex'. Or maybe it is not so straightforward.

Ah, yes it makes sense now..He had minimal screen time in 2014, other than CFs/Concerts he was practically MIA, so I guess it's not farfetched that he didn't make the cut. Thanks for clarifying :)

@adamfever @Mosquito  Thank you so much.

Summary of Samsonite Red talk concert video clip Part 2 by HunkyDory on P. 2391

0:02 The MC said "From now on, this is the last part of the talk concert today." At the word 'the last part' the fans groaned. A few fans shouted 'No~'. The MC appeased them. "As this is the last part, I will prolong it. We prepared 'Lee Min Ho's Analects on the Youth.'"

0:23 The MC continued "Mr Lee Min Ho poured many golden remarks from his past interviews." Minho cut in "Did I? Did I leave golden sayings?" The MC answered jokingly "You left more golden sayings than Mr Kim Je Dong[a famous MC and gagman]."

0:35 The MC said "This is the time we talk about those remarks again."

0:41 The MC introduced "This is the first one. 'Youth is the period when we are seeking for something by many trials and errors.' He said it from one of his past interviews. I wonder when he got this realization." And the fans laughed. The MC continued "Mr Lee Min Ho must have had some trials and errors in the past, didn't you?"

1:04 Minho said "Sure, I did. First of all, youth is the period when I don't even know what I want to do. And when everything is unstable. Psychological aspect, social position and everything is unstable during that period. However, I think that period is all the more attractive because of it. For example, when we watch a drama series, we find the early parts more interesting, don't we? It's the same as we are more attracted to the parts when many things develop in plotwise. When we grow older and look back the past, I think we will remember the most that period when we went through many trials and errors."

1:45 The MC said "I see. What was your biggest trial and error in your life?"

1:50 Minho answered "When I was 20 years old, many things happened to me. I went through the failure in the relationship with my first love and I had to stay in the hospital for a year." The MC cut in "Ah~ when you were hurt." Minho continued "The first thing that I heard from the doctor was that possibly I would not be able to walk again. The moment when I heard it. Those feelings I had in the hospital for that period. And the conflict between my parents. All those things happened to me at the same time at the age of 20. Therefore, I became an aged young man then." [i literally translated what he said. 'An aged young man' means a person who acts and thinks older than his age.]

2:28 The MC said "From a different point of view, when you look back that period, you can say it gave you strength."

2:32 Minho disagreed with laugh "No, it didn't. Even now I get stress thinking of that time."

2:39 The MC said "I see. Anyway, nobody can help those trials and errors. As we undergo them, we should bring ourselves a realization on our own."

It's 2:40 am. I have to hit the sack now.
