wow, this is like watching a soccer game, so nervous.
The box office numbers for Jan 30 in Korean are out right now.

According to KOBIS  our GB is 3rd after Ode and BH6

But according to KOFIC , all the attendance number are  higher and the ranking is on reverse, GB is leading, then Ode and BH6. GB is at 86,7K+ right now.
Let's see how things pan out.

But with an overwhelmingly  pre-booking number from BH6 and a sudden increase in pre-booking number from Ode, I guess that both of them with take over the box office this weekend.

Yes KOBIS make their update less often or late than KOFIC ^^. I checked again for yesterday (29/01) data, they changed again and now GB and ODE had same share 21.36%. Glad they already corrected their mistake.

Update 4: So as of 1:42 am Korean Time, GB is leading the box office with 88,009 tickets sold (Ode 85,4540 and BH6 84,5580. Not the final numbers yet, but I guess the final numbers are not a lot different.

@adamfever All I know is that Minoz Japan and Minoz from several parts in China have scheduled viewings of GB this week as part of the promotional tours (to include visits to GB location sets) that were put together some months back. Rumor has it that these tours include personal appearances by Minho---but we'll know when we know.

Thank you for posting the live updates on the SK Box Office numbers.  I AM SO GIDDY! GB's surprising everyone with its phenomenal performance so far.  Coz how can you explain an R-rated noir film beating a GP-rated melodrama that's turning out to be one of the 5 BEST SELLING K-movies of all time AND Disney's critically-acclaimed animated film that has grossed almost $500 million worldwide?  (It's actually making me think of the sensation that PULP FICTION caused in the US when it opened in the 90's.)  I am sure it's going to hit what MH calls its break-even point of 3M viewers.  Like you, I am not confident that GB will stay on top of the box-office much longer BUT I am hoping that it's got legs to stay onscreen for many, many weeks.  Right, Minho~ya and Rae-won-ssi? )

Beyond its performance in SK, it would be interesting to see how the movie performs in other countries in Asia.  It has opened in Singapore, Myanmar and Thailand and is scheduled to open JAN. 30 in Taiwan, with opening dates next week in HK, China as well as the US and Canada.  I hope that uri SooMZies will be able to share whatever box office information would be available in their respective countries.  
 On another note, I can't wait to see his new CF for TNGT (read that this is LG-owned, too)---a MEN'S FASHION LINE, yes!!!
