Lee Bo Young 이보영 | Upcoming Drama 2024 : Hide

MDSY

Recommended Posts

Me too.. I'm really hoping that she could grab the Daesang at KBS for her excellent performance in MDSY. Actually, from her interview with KBS two weeks ago, I think there might be a possibily for her to attend the KBS Drama Awards, since the host asked her which (KBS for MDSY or SBS for ICHYV) of the Drama Awards she would like to attend. So obviously, there is still a chance for MDSY to be nominated again this year, otherwise, KBS wouldn't be asking such questions. MBC's Horse Doctor, which ran from 2012 to 2013 as well, is nominated for the MBC Drama Awards this year as well. The lead actor Jo Seung Woo won the Daesang last year already but he is in the competition for this year's Daesang as well. So, I guess it is not uncommon to be nominated twice?

The candidates for SBS's Daesang are very strong and each of them did very well this year. SHK is my bias as well. It would be perfect if she can take home the Daesang at SBS, and BY unnie at KBS for her performance as Seoyoung. KBS didn't have any outstanding dramas this year (ratings and reception wise), except for Good Doctor and Secret. MDSY still remains the top rated drama of all TV dramas broadcasted in Korea this year. Her main competitor for KBS Daesang will most likely be Joo-won. I only watched ten episodes of Good Doctor (I dropped it midway), so I can't say much about his performance, but he did excellent in the 10 episodes I watched. However, compared to the other three A-level actors in the run for SBS's Daesang, I think the chances at KBS Drama Awards are higher, because they have less pork to divide compared to SBS which had a dozen of "outstanding, attention grabbing" dramas this year.

My guess~
If she attends SBS:
Daesang: Either SHK or LBY
Top Excellence Female: Either SHK, LBY, Soo-Ae or Gong Hyo-jin
Top Excellence Male: Min Jong-kook?

If she attends KBS:
Daesang: LBY (I think the Daesang will most likely go to BY if she attends. They won't invite her "for nothing".)
Top Excellence Female: Hwang Jung-eum
Top Excellence Male: Ji Sung and Joo-won (Two winners)

I think KBS is trying their best to pull BY over. They need some star power and we all know BY's popularity has skyrocketed this year. BY's hubby will most likely attend KBS. If BY attends KBS as well, it will be garning some interests and buzz without a doubt as it would be the first time for the newlyweds to be at the same award ceremony after their marriage. So there is no reason for KBS to not try anything they can in order to convince BY unnie lol.

She also spoke English in Queen of the Game at the first 2 episodes which was shot in New Zealand, and also in Mr. Goodbye when it was shot in the States. It was so funny with her speaking "Good morning, Good afternoon and Good evening".

said: The honeymoon venue of Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung : Luang Prabang, Laos. Just saw photos posted by JS. So its not Thailand afterall, but the little quiet country Laos. Very wise venue for a good rest and honeymoon. I guess not many people will recognise them on the streets, so all the freedom for them the roam the place.

Kim Woo Bin, Lee Hwi Jae, and Lee Bo Young in Talks for SBS’ Drama Awards MCs

It is soon time for the annual SBS’ Drama Awards, and we have just been given a hint of who the MCs will most likely be!

On December 4, the PD responsible for the Drama Awards revealed to news agency OSEN during a phone conversation, “We are currently discussing the matter with Lee Bo Young, Kim Woo Bin, and Lee Hwi Jae. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but they are considering the position with a positive attitude.”

It was already reported on December 2 that Kim Woo Bin and Lee Bo Young have been selected as MCs for the show, and now Lee Hwi Jae, who is currently participating in many popular variety shows, has been revealed to join the two. Based on their previous appearances, the three can be expected to guide the viewers through the award show in a harmonious and professional manner.

Entertainer Lee Hwi Jae is a fixed cast member of programs such as SBS’ “1000 Song Challenge,” KBS2TV’s “Superman Returns,” and MBC’s “Quiz to Change the World.” Actor Kim Woo Bin is receiving attention for his role in SBS’ drama “The Heirs,” and Lee Bo Young acted in this summer’s hit drama “I Can Hear Your Voice.”

Would you like to see the three as the MCs?

@steviehahahaha... think she will probably as excited as Song Ji Hyo (running man), running and carrying the babies. I guess she will probably kiss them all, as long as they are not the adult tigers, lions, etc heheheheh..... I thought the Koalas are lovely to hold as long as they down have their long claws at you.
