I notice a lot of strict asian families say no dating until AFTER Uni! at that point you are already a legal adult...........so why would you still feel obligated to follow your parents rules? just something i have been wondering about.....

I'm single because

1. I don't care about dating/relationships.

2. I don't need unnecessary stress and drama in my life.

3. Many things are much more accessible and easier to handle without someone's company. In other words, I enjoy being independent.

4. I have better things to do with my life.

There's nothing wrong with being single. It's a choice/preference. If a person doesn't desire a relationship, that doesn't automatically determine their lack of maturity. I personally think being single is very underrated.

there are other more important things in life

i have friends and family and they already are a lot to me so i don't wanna add another person to worry about lol.

i'm picky.

i find a boyfriend pretty useless OF NOW because i'm not sure if i want to get married

i won't feel complete until i get my dream job so i don't want stuff in my way . stuff = boyfriend

i don't find it worth going through ...you know what i mean...

oh yeah and i sorta have commitment phobia :crazy:

I am single because...

- Being single = no commitment ;]

- No drama, tears, or stress

- Low self-esteem :tears:

- Although I know the guy I like likes me, we haven't said

anything yet .

- He's my best friend. Getting together would kill the already

great relation we already have.

- He doesn't go to my school. But another school approximately

20 minutes away in the same city. :tears:

- I attract weirdooos.

- Parents would freak. Typical. Asian. Parents. Don't want me

to have any relationships until after college.

- I'm VERY shy around guys. Due to the fact that I lost confidence

because of this weirdo this year... T_T

BUT! the good thing is, I get to see him<3 again on monday .

I'm single because:

1. Parents say after college I can date

2. School is more important

3. I will become emotionally attached

4. A lot of weird guys are attracted to me

5. I will get hurt easily if we were to break up

6. Basically, not emotionally ready

7. I'm not mature enough (in my opinion :P)

I' am single because..

- I hate being touched everywhere T_T

- I'm hecka picky when it comes to guys

- I have never found a guy who knows me

- I have never found a guy that accepts me for who I'am (Quite pathetic.)

- My mother has high standards

- My family has a problem with me dating while I'm in school

- Some of the guys who like me are scary

- I think I'm happy being single most of the time

- I don't have time for commitment

- Men are a waste of time (for me at this point)

- At my age group, all of them just want sex.

- Lastly, this is stupid.. but I want a guy who listens to the same music I do. : )

weird i know..sad....hhaha im not a lovey dovey person so its hard..? i guess..not ready to be in a relationship...nopee

I don't have any interest in anyone that I know.

Even if I go out with one right now, I wouldn't be deeply inlove with that person, and I would just pretend that I like them. Most of them are more like a friend to me. Guys that's my age isn't really what I'm looking for in a guy.

My family won't let me have a boyfriend, only after college...

I don't feel like hiding that I have a bf like the old day.

It's because most of the girls I meet are

- girly girls

- ditsy/slow

- superfluously stubborn

- extremely narcisstic

- smoker/drinker/druggie

- emo/goth

- fat, I mean very fat(Yes, I'm somewhat superficial, so what?)

- princess syndrome

- gold-diggers

- if none of those, then just plain stupid

It's also because I'm

- egotistic

- picky

- high standards

- personality

Smart/witty/pretty girls are hard to come by. Even though I'm asian, my family doesn't object to me dating anyone, my mom is always overjoyed whenever I bring a girl home, that's out of the norm isn't it?

Some people are single because they just don't have time for relationship/not the right time for one, or simply because they enjoy being single. I was single for five years because I grew sick and tired of guys haha. It was a beautiful break from being boy crazy!!

It's nice to be in a relationship, but it's also nice not being in a relationship for a change. I guess that's why I'm single. I was in relationships for the past three years and now I have no body, but my AWESOME friends so that's why don't care much to be in a relationship. I'll wait and see what's will come my way in the future and until the day come I'll enjoy the moment with my friends

- even though I hate it, school is more important to me than dating or whatever

- I really enjoy the single life!

- I have so many things planned for myself

- I'm not allowed to date until after college/uni

- I attract weirdos

- practically all of the guys around here are shallow

- I usually shy away from the boys I like (no confidence)

- a friend said that my 'smartness' intimidates guys (though I don't agree)

- and lastly, the right guy for me will come along eventually
