by Vivi on Mon, Oct 13, 2014 | DRAMAFEVER

The last few weeks have brought some exciting casting stories with quite a few actors returning to K-dramas after a break.  Hyun Bin, Han Ye Seul, and Shin Ha Kyun all announced their upcoming comeback dramas, which gives us hope that some of our other favorites will come back to the small screen soon. Here is a wish list of some of our favorite K-drama actors who have been missing from the drama world for too long:
(Note: For this list, we included actors who haven't been in a drama since 2012 or earlier, meaning that their break has been at least two years.)

If you don't count his brief cameo in  Dating Agency: Cyrano (and I most certainly do NOT), his last starring role was in Big in 2012. We know that he's busy making movies for the big screen, but we can't help but wish he would take a break to play the lead in a nice romance.

Actor Gong Yoo to Build An Igloo on Snowfield in New Zealand?

Actor Gong Yoo had great time making an igloo in New Zealand.

Gong Yoo is the face for lifestyle outdoor ‘Discovery Expedition.’ Recently, behind-the-scene cuts of 2014 FW commercial have been released.

In the commercial, Gong Yoo is building an igloo piling up the snow regardless of bitter cold.

He looks also very happy with making the igloo. Sources said he kept smiling during building it and he was so proud of himself after he finished making it.

Besides, his gorgeous look on the snow was stunning enough to capture women’s heart. His commercial for ‘Discovery Expedition’is currently flowing.

Gong Yoo visits Cambodia as an ambassador of UNICEF Korea

20141030101726_545191a617f31_1.jpg

Gong Yoo visited Cambodia as an ambassador of UNICEF Korea.

Gong Yoo is currently active as a children's right ambassador for UNICEF Korea, and on October 29th, UNICEF Korea released a photo from Gong Yoo's trip to Cambodia.

Gong Yoo was appointed as an ambassador for UNICEF Korea on October 8th, and Gong Yoo visited Cambodia in order to meet with Cambodian children, and check their social rights.

The photo shows Gong Yoo, surrounded by Cambodian children, playing with them with a bright smile on his face.

Gong Yoo is the first person who was appointed as children's right ambassador for UNICEF Korea, and he is promoting protection of children's social rights, protection, development, and participation.

Gong Yoo's visit to Cambodia was planned in celebration of 25th anniversary of 'UN Children's Right Agreement,' and he stayed in Cambodia for about a week.

Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in the world, and their child exploitation is at a serious degree.

During his visit to Cambodia, Gong Yoo met up with children in three different regions, and took a look around their living environments.

He also gave special messages to children who are suffering from various diseases and abuse, and filed a video called 'End Violence.'

Gong Yoo said, "I believe that UNICEF should continue sending aids so that every child can grow in much better environment."

He also said, "I learned many things while watching the children never losing their smile even in such inferior environments."

Meanwhile, more photos from Gong Yoo's trip to Cambodia will be shown to the public through a photo exhibition in December.
