Guest chigusa707
Mika Nakashima ----> Pop. Listen to d[di:]! You can watch her PVs at Youtube. Maybe she listened to Mika's Glamorous Sky and thought Mika was a Jrock artist. But I do lover Mika's rock-ish songs. XD I think d[di:]! is cute.. does her name stand for anything? XS it's really hard trying to find sound clips of these female rockers..but it's really convinient that they have english sites too..where as.. alot of male jrockers only have japanese sites.. (i think right.. l arc probably has an english site now too)...

XD I think d[di:]! is cute.. does her name stand for anything? Other than "Deeth", probably. I actually finally listened to Kana's singing just now...I've heard her talk and its weird...but I'm actually not too disturbed by the singing. iuno...maybe years of hair metal preps you for stuff like this o.o I can't stand hearing Kana sing. ^^; tomiko from do as infinity count too right? they are a band and plays rock music..XD though some songs can be a bit pop..but pratically all rock bands play a lil pop..i go find pics.. edit: Tomiko Van (Vo) from Do as Infinity (J-rock/pop band) credits to google I don't consider DAI as jrock. It's JPOP to me with some rock songs. Kind of like JAM (Judy and Mary) but JAM did more rock than DAI.

Guest chigusa707
I lover her rock-y songs too! she has the nice husky-ish voice for it. I agree! She has to give more power.. emotion to her movements though. She looks frozen when singing rock songs. BUT she she's a beautiful frozen rockstar. >< ehehe. Other than "Deeth", probably. I can't stand hearing Kana sing. ^^; I don't consider DAI as jrock. It's JPOP to me with some rock songs. Oh.. "deeth"? I sorta consider Do as Infinity.. poprock.. How about puffy amiyumi *squeals* they are so cute! They play.. uhm.. cutesy rock? ala Tommy February/Heavenly? *waves* HI KEY!

They play.. uhm.. cutesy rock? ala Tommy February/Heavenly? *waves* HI KEY! Deeth! You'll probably have to ask a Japanese fan about how to correctly pronounce it. Puffy (or Puffy AmiYumi for Western fans) ---> JPOP. Tommy February is like..JPOP to the I don't know what. Her music has a new age feel to it. As for Tommy Heavenly...JPOP-rock because it reminds me of Avril Lavinge.

Oh.. interesting.. does DEETH mean anything? Tommy February sorta has this electric thing sound to her music... Tommy Heavenly, on the other hand, has well.. a more rockish sound. Not sure about the other 2 members. ) http://xanliu-waltz.com D[di:] should be pronounced like the letter "D". In katakana, it is ディー.
