‘이들에게 2% 부족한 것은 재미!’20대 남녀를 대상으로 실시한 이번 연예인 이미지 설문조사에서 강동원 한가인 송승헌 손예진 김태희 배용준 등 쟁쟁한 스타들이 뜻밖에도 최하점을 기록한 항목이 있다. 바로 ‘끼(재미)’ 지수다.연기자로, 스타로 명성이 높은 이들은 트렌드, 신뢰도, 외모 등 다른 분야에서는 골고루 높은 지지를 얻었지만 유독 ‘끼’ 지수에서는 설문대상자의 ‘마킹’을 주저하게 만들었다. 세련되고 모범적이며 아름답지만 재미있거나 즐거움을 주는 스타로는 비쳐지지 않고 있는 것이다.

이들 가운데 특히 강동원, 배용준, 송승헌 등 남성스타 3인은 ‘끼’ 지수에서 평균 0.4점대로 최하점을 찍었다. 좀 더 구체적으로는 총 900점을 득표할 수 있는 ‘끼’ 지수에서 송승헌이 74표, 배용준이 83표, 강동원이 86표 등을 얻어 5점 만점으로 환산했을 때 공히 0.4점대에 그쳤다.

강동원의 경우 트렌드, 외모, 신뢰도 등의 지수에서는 2.8점, 2.5점, 1.8점으로 고득점을 올렸지만, 유독 이 분야의 점수가 저공 비행했다. 여성스타로는 한가인이 트렌드, 신뢰, 외모 등에서 2.0점, 2.1점, 2.3점 등을 기록해 20대 미녀스타 군단 중에서도 단연 돋보이는 고평가를 받았음에도 역시 0.8점으로 ‘끼’ 지수가 저조해 ‘이가 빠진’ 모양새를 나타냈다는 게 특기사항이다.

한가인을 비롯해 손예진, 김태희 등은 모두 네 지수 중 외모면에서 가장 높은 점수를 나타내 이들에 대한 20대 젊은층의 주요 관심은 미의 여신으로서 그들의 가치에 기울어 있음을 엿보였다.

‘끼’ 지수에서 최하점을 찍은 이들은 CF외에는 방송 노출이 극도로 제한돼 있어 가령 예능프로그램에 나와 ‘엔터테이너’의 자질을 엿보인 전례가 드물다는 게 이같은 결과로 이어진 것으로 보인다.

모든 스타가 말을 잘하고, 유머러스하며, 명랑할 필요는 없다. 배우로서, 유행 및 미의 선도자로서, 각기 인정을 받는 것도 충분히 가치있는 일이다. 그러나 설문대상자들이 다른 항목에서는 후했다가 유독 ‘끼’ 지수를 평가할 때 5개의 선택 항목 중 하나를 체크하는 것도 망설였다는 점은 이들에게 ‘재미있는 모습을 보여달라’는 아우성을 표현한 것이나 다름없다. 이렇게 스타를 향한 대중의 열망은 무한하다.

한국 최고의 스포츠 스타로 우뚝선 박지성(맨유)을 광고 모델로 쓰려면 얼마나 들까. 6개월 단발에 5억~7억원, 1년 기준으로는 10억원 이상이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 최근 각종 설문조사에서 한국 스포츠의 간판으로 자리잡은 박지성이 '공인 대한민국 최고 모델'이었다. 대외적으로 널리 알려진 A기관이 최근 자체 제작한 '스타들의 광고모델료' 문서에 따르면 박지성의 CF 출연료는 1년 기준으로 10억원 이상인 것으로 나타났다. 광고 모델로서 박지성은 장동건 전지현 등 연예계 톱스타보다 한 단계 높은 '특특A'였다.

박지성이 '특특A'로 유일하게 최고 등급을 받은 가운데 영화배우 장동건과 'CF여왕' 전지현 이영애 고현정이 '특A', '피겨요정' 김연아와 '수영스타' 박태환 이병헌과 보아 에릭이 그 아래 등급인 'A'로 분류됐다.

　'특A'는 광고 한 편당 8억원, 'A' 등급은 6억5000만원 정도를 받는다. 박지성은 4번째 등급격인 'A-'로 평가받은 현빈과 강동원, 'B' 등급으로 분류된 소지섭 임수정의 두 배에 달했다.

　월드 투어중인 가수 비는 이 자료에서 언급되지 않았다.

　박지성의 에이전트사인 JS리미티드의 박현준 팀장은 "지금까지 CF는 6개월 단발로 계약해 왔는데 기간을 1년으로 환산하면 10억원에 이를 것"이라고 확인했다. 박지성이 출연한 CF의 특징은 광고주가 직접 나선다는 것. 박현준 팀장은 "연예인들의 경우 광고주와 매니지먼트사가 갑과 을인 관계가 많고 매니지먼트사가 로비에 나서는 것으로 알고 있다. 하지만 박지성은 조금 다르다. 광고주가 직접 박지성을 지목해 이에 응하는 형식이었다"라고 말했다.

박지성, 공인 대한민국 최고 모델

　최근 한 방송사의 설문조사에서 '스포츠뉴스에서 가장 보고 싶은 선수'로 꼽힌 박지성이지만 현재 출연하고 있는 CF는 없다. 박지성이 등장했던 하이트맥주와 LG 엑스캔버스 TV 때문이다.

　물론 광고 모델 문의는 쏟아진다.

　박현준 팀장은 "현재 구체적으로 진행중인 것은 없지만 박지성을 모델로 쓰고 싶다는 전화를 거의 매일 받는다"고 했다. 하지만 박지성측은 출연 제의에 상당히 신중하게 접근하고 있다. 금액 등 계약 조건도 중요하지만 이미지 관리에 각별히 신경을 쓰고 있기 때문이다.

　한편 박지성은 지난 3월 브랜드 컨설팅 전문기관인 '브랜드38연구소'가 실시한 '최고 광고모델은 누구인가'라는 설문조사에서 장동건 비 유재석에 이어 4위에 랭크된 바 있다. < 민창기 기자 huelva@sportschosun.com>
