Actor Kang Dong Won is currently practicing how to ride a horse for the historical movie A Gang Of Robbers.

On January 9, an official for the movie said, “Kang had some time off to rest after the military and started taking riding lessons on January 8.”

The official added, “Since he appears on the movie after a long time, he wants to prepare everything. Actor Ha Jung Woo is also planning to learn how to ride a horse in February or March. The historical action movie will give spectacular views.”

The movie is about a group of chivalrous robbers who steal from corrupt officials and hand out to the people. Director Yoon Jong Bin, who made Nameless Gangster : Rules of Time, will direct the movie. Since Kang will return to the big screen with the movie, many people are anticipating his appearance.

Kang will play the role of Jo Yoon, who is a child born out of wedlock in a wealthy family. His appearance in a historical action movie with renowned actor Ha drew a lot of attention.

The movie will start shooting in March and be released in 2014.

Actor Kang Dong-won is to star in a short film by Hollywood director Kim Ji-woon from "The Last Stand".
On a phone call with TV Daily, his agency claimed, "Kang Dong-won has confirmed to star in the upcoming movie "Hide and Seek" before "Band of Thieves". The making should be over before March".
"Hide and Seek" is a 10 minute movie which isn't going to be released commercially.
Meanwhile, Kang Dong-won is going to be working with Ha Jeong-woo in the movie "Band of Thieves" in mid March.
