agreed, i really do think that it's the agent that screwed everything over.

but i'll be optimistic and wait till wednesday when they do sign those contracts.

i mean gasol came into the lakers during the season and reaped good rewards,

so a matter of chemistry shouldn't be too big of a deal if the zen master decides

Mhmm. But the thing is Gasol never was an all out drama queen like Artest is. The dude thrives on the littlest of things to whine about...which leads to temper tantrums and technical fouls. It'll be interesting, to say the least.

5 years for 60 mill? Way too much. Defense on the wing is a problem for the Raps. Marion patched that up, and now we're replacing him with Hedo? Guy can't defend a fly, seeing as how LeBron ripped him in the playoffs. So it was the money and the Turkish community in Toronto that attracted him away from the Blazers. i think detroit needs to get rid of all its old players..the chemistry is not there anymore..time to rebuild..they have some good young guys..but allen iverson, rasheed, mcdyess, rip and even tayshaun can play for other teams.

true im glad he isnt coming to portland but knowing kevin pritchard do you think he had other plans in the wait with hedo like maybe a sign and trade for a major upgrade at the PG which the blazers need or some other plan

Indeed. David Lee has solidified his place among the dumbest athletic agents in the industry.

That said, I'm not too big of an Artest fan. He makes horrible decisions shooting the ball, but I guess if he's going to have to defer to Kobe Bryant he'll help much more than he'll hurt.
