google for it, i remember there used to be codes for extra boxes on the intrests side and about me side. if you viewed the source, you could probably find the code but i don't go on myspace anymore so can't help you.

one way to do it is to cover your current layout with a div with a white background. then using css and html, position the boxes at where you want them to be on the page. you can then use some simple html thumbnail to mimick the friends box. example:

It looks like the person used something like http://r4wr.com/friends/ to create their friends box.

It takes some time since you have to copy and paste their myspace link and picture.
