Hello dears! I'm planning a project for KNG before heading to Korea, hopefully get to see him during my stay. Would love if fans here in Soompi (albeit little?) contribute as well! Here are the details I posted in the Livejournal Community ( http://kim-nam-gil.livejournal.com/ ):

Been MIA for months! Nothing to offer yet (gotta get back to  translating!!!) but news is I'm going to Korea this November and am  really hoping to see Kim Nam Gil. But as mentioned before, it won't be  nice to drop by without informing, so I would very much like to find a  way of contacting the agency to let them know in advance, arrange a  meeting of sorts, representing the Lifejournal / Facebook / English  speaking fan base around the world. If anyone wants to tag along I'll be  there from 12th Nov - 17th Nov.

So if time and resources allows me to meet him, I'm more than willing to help bring over scarp books, letters, videos, gifts  etc. I doubt I'll have time to consolidate stuff like what some of your  did previously making a book and all, so instead you guys can have it  done and deliver it to my Singapore address and I'll bring them  personally to him. I'll try to take a video of his expression,  replies, message etc. But do ensure your parcel arrive in Singapore by  9th November. It will be cool if we have one scrap book representing  each country - let him feel the love from all over the world!

I'm also thinking of doing a mini questionnaire, provided I can find someone to translate or  any of your know how is his Chinese studies and English coming along?  I've lost track of his updates for months! He's still at the Gangnam-gu  office right?

Alright I'm going to end here, will update once I  gather more info. The most important thing now is setting up the  meeting, if anyone knows how to do so, please let me know ASAP. Feel  free to suggest anything or ask any questions as well. Basically I'm hoping to meet KNG during my trip to Korea, and in the process help all of you fans to personally pass him letters and gifts, convey messages, and all. So I'm asking anyone who wants to start preparing stuff and send it to me by 9th Nov so I can bring them over

Nice to know KNG is so loved by Japanese! And your artwork is wonderful! Hope you can participate in this project too, make some stuff for him and I can help you pass it to him if everything comes through. You can ask your fellow Japanese fans of KNG to do so as well and compile them before sending it over

We sure hope KNG gets the recognition he deserves. Glad Bad Guy helped. And if I'm not wrong Portrait of a Beauty was screened in Japan Cinemas as well right? How I wish they do that in Singapore! haha.

I dun think Portrait of the Beauty would be viewed in Singapore unless they decide to censor here and there. I hv seen POB via Youtube and though I think the whole movie is beautifully shot, there are lots of prudes and ancient beings who would think the bare bodies parts would offend them. That's how Singapore is. You should try Youtube instead.

Any new news on Kim Nam Gil. It is a long way to April 2012, and I am growing cobwebs. I miss him and his laughter in Queen Seondok and his sadonic smile in Bad Guy. I wish that there is a way of planting some 'fan seeds' from FB to here cos there are lots of new things over there.

hey im newbie here... im a fan of kim nam gil from USA..im a filipina. i just saw his series The great queen seon deok and i definitely love his character as bidam... can you update me on what's happening to him?pls... i love watching korean dramas....and im addicted to it.. when i watch those korean dramas i find myself loving korea...i wish i could  get there and visit...i find korea's culture so flourish...
