I just love how she looks back to You're Beautiful and realize how important that drama is to her. It's the reason why I knew about her and it started my only Korean actress addiction. In fact, I got to know so much about the S.Korean entertainment because of her.

Yeah, that's what I really want to say. It's too safe. I've seen her in so many dresses like that. One of my favorites are the one she wore during the 2009 SBS Drama Awards and the one she wore when she became an ambassador in a film festival with Joo Sang Wook.

Who wouldn't want to be her friend? Look at her YAB friends, they all stay in contact even though 4 years had already passed. She helps them promote their albums on her twitter, even promoting FNC's other artists. She answers FTIsland's call on radio shows and she attends their concerts and events. She only has nice things to say about JGS even though he had become really strange nowadays. She goes out on trips with  her FBND and still keeps in contact with her best girl friends. She's extremely supportive and she doesn't forget to hang out with her old and non-showbiz friends. In her Fuji Instax camping series, her friends are still the same with her. You can definitely say that Park Shin Hye doesn't forget her friends and still keeps in touch with them whenever she can.

Park Shin Hye attended the '2013 Anhui TV Drama Awards' on the day of her arrival in Beijing on December 18 and won the 'Most Popular Foreign Actress Award'. Her 'Heirs' co-star Kim Woo Bin was her escort on the red carpet. Park Shin Hye also surprised fans with her singing skills during her performance of Cha Eun Sang's theme song "Story" from the 'Heirs' OST.
Her agency S.A.L.T. Entertainment stated, "We were able to feel the hot response from Chinese fans' applause and the media coverage... Following Park Shin Hye conducting interview with popular Chinese media outlets Sina, qiyi, youku, todou, and more, she will depart for Japan on the 20th and meet her Japanese fans."

Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye Reveal Story Behind Intense Hug During Dinner Party

Park Shin Hye revealed the story behind her hug with Kim Woo Bin that was captured on camera during a dinner party.

In “The Heirs,” which ended on December 12, Kim Woo Bin played Choi Young Do, a bad boy who finally experiences his first love with Park Shin Hye’s character, Cha Eun Sang. However, Eun Sang’s heart belonged to Kim Tan (played by Lee Min Ho) and Young Do’s story of his first love turned out to be a sad one.

However, a video clip of Kim Woo Bin strongly hugging Park Shin Hye delightfully surprised netizens and fans, who wished for Young Do and Eun Sang’s love to come true. Recently, Park Shin Hye and Kim Woo Bin both revealed the story behind that hug during their interviews.

Kim Woo Bin revealed, “At the time, the atmosphere was rising and I got hyped up as well. It wasn’t a hug that I initiated but the overall atmosphere was just so fun. The actors had a cake cutting session and Choi Won Young senior even made Tan and Eun Sang hug beforehand. Everyone was having a good time.”

He continued, “Then Choi Won Young said, ‘Since Young Do’s love couldn’t come true in the drama, he needs to at least make it come true here,’ as he made us hug. I couldn’t make the atmosphere come down and it wasn’t a situation where I could give her just a slight hug,” which explains why Kim Woo Bin gave such an intense hug!

Park Shin Hye also explained the situation. She said, “I didn’t only hug Kim Woo Bin. I also hugged Lee Min Ho and there should be a video clip of that too. Since I hugged Min Ho oppa, everyone wanted Young Do to hug me since he couldn’t end up with Eun Sang in the drama.” She continued, “But then Kim Woo Bin started to step back. I wondered why he was doing that but all of a sudden, he ran to me and pulled me to him. I was so shocked,” as she laughed.

Furthermore, the story of how Kim Woo Bin (born in 1989) and Park Shin Hye (a “fast” 1990-er) got to be friends.

Kim Woo Bin revealed, “I actually don’t make friends with 1990-ers. So Shin Hye told me to call her ‘sunbae’ (senior). So I agreed to be friends with her and thank goodness we decided to be friends because I was able to act very comfortably because of that. It became easier to act as I looked into her eyes. Also, since she’s been acting for 10 years, I have a lot to learn from her.”

After hearing his side of the story, Park Shin Hye laughed and said, “Did he really say that? Actually, a close friend of mine works in the beauty industry. Woo Bin knows that friend too and that friend is the one who told Woo Bin about me.”

She continued, “But when he heard that I was a fast 1990-er, I heard he said, ‘How can I be friends with a 1990-er?’ So then I told my friend, ‘Well, if he doesn’t want to be friends then tell him to call me sunbae,’ as a joke. Then Woo Bin agreed to be friends right away,” with a laugh.

Age is an important social factor in Korea. If are born in the same year, you are considered as “friends.” However, there are those with “fast” birthdays. If you are born in January, February or even March, you

are considered to have a “fast” birthday and are placed in the

same age group as the previous year. This has to do with the fact that Korean schools start the new semester in March.

“The Heirs” Couple Park Shin Hye and Kim Woo Bin Win Popular Overseas Actor Award in China

Park Shin Hye and Kim Woo Bin, two of this year’s industry aces, have received the Popular Overseas Actor Award at the 2013 Anhui TV Drama Awards!

The show hosted by television channel Anhui was held on December 18 in Beijing. Before the actual award ceremony, the two stars were surrounded by local fans when they made an appearance at the red carpet. Despite the chilly weather, the loyal fans waited for hours in order to get a glimpse of their favorite “The Heirs” couple. When Park Shin Hye and Kim Woo Bin finally entered the scene, they were met with loud cheers full of excitement.

The beautiful actress wore a chic black dress with delicate lace details, where as the handsome actor went for a sharp suit and finished the look off with a bow. The two certainly fit well together in their matching black outfits.

During the show, they received the Popular Overseas Actor Award, proving their great popularity in China. Park Shin Hye introduced herself in Chinese and then continued to thank for the award, “I am very thankful that a drama popular in Korea also received so much love here in China. It is an honor that even people with a different cultural background are able to relate to it and show it a great amount of love.” Kim Woo Bin showed off his sense of humor by introducing himself with the fan-given nickname “long-legs,” and gave his speech, “Thank you for loving bad boy Young Do so much. I will do my best to show a good side of myself to the Chinese fans in the future as well.” Park Shin Hye also performed a solo stage as the representative of Korea and sung “Story” off “The Heirs” OST, receiving praises for her overwhelming talent.
