Park Shin Hye expresses her ’sadness’ in failing to sign up for classes

Actress Park Shin Hye expressed her disappointment in her failure to sign up for classes in time through a comical set of pictures.

Through her Twitter, Park Shin Hye wrote, “Haha ^-^;; I failed to sign up for my classes…When I came to Seoul, I became sick and couldn’t even go shopping for food…sad. I’m thinking if I should take musical practice classes or not…cough”.

Continuing, she lamented, “I failed to sign up for all my classes. Cry cry. I couldn’t even sign up for one. Sad mode. I’m sad that I paid 500,000 won and couldn’t even take the classes for my major. I just need to take the classes for my major ^^If they say that I can’t even petition for the classes, does it mean that they don’t want me to go to school? I’m going to see if I can take a liberal arts class… ”

Park Shin Hye is currently attending Joong Ang University. However, because she was unable to sign up for her classes, it will be hard for her to graduate on time.

She then stated, “I’m going to go to the department office. This is the side effect of a person who is not normal because she couldn’t take any classes. It is hard to be college student Park Shin Hye.”

Netizens who saw this also felt her disappointment and left words of advice, “I had that happen to me before too.” “It’s okay, everything will work out”, and “Go the the department office and ask them to let you in.”

Actress Park Shin Hye recently revealed a set of pictures thanking her fans for their gifts.

Through her Twitter, she wrote, “Thank you. I’m such a lucky person. I’m sorry for delaying this. I can say nothing else besides ‘thank you’. I’ll become a better actress. Will you be with me along the way?“.

The pictures show Park Shin Hye expressing her gratitude for receiving such warm gifts from her fans. She also showed her newly changed hairstyle, which she teased about in an earlier tweet.

Previously, the actress revealed a blurry close-up picture of her hairstyle, piquing the interest of many netizens. She emphasized her cuteness by cutting her hair short and coloring it black, creating a fierce look.

Park Shin Hye on KBS 2TV "Win Win"

On March 1st, Shin Hye made a surprise guest appearance on KBS 2 Win Win Show.

Actor Joo Sang Woo who worked with Shin Hye on Kimcheed Radish Cubes(2008) was the show’s man of the hour. He was thrilled and relieved that Shin Hye was the surprise guest because upon seeing the enormous shadow on the glass door, he thought it was the director.

Shin Hye and Sang Wook reminisced about their time together on KRC. The MCs wanted to know since it was a love story was there any skinship. Shin Hye replied yes. At that time she was only 18 and a senior in high school when she took on the part of Sa Ya. Sang Woo was 29. This age gap was a recurring topic throughout the talk show especially when describing the kiss scene.

Shin Hye recalled expressing her concerns to her mom and to the director. She suggested to the director kissing on the cheeks rather than the lips since she was only a high school girl. He insisted it had to be lips because they were a couple and not to worry too much. He coached both Sang Wook and Shin Hye how to approach the kiss scene. From Shin Hye’s point of view it was just a “popo” but according to Sang Wook it was a kiss. The MCs agreed with him and teased Shin Hye about the different perspectives.

Shin Hye and Sang Woo mentioned many other memorable moments. Here are some highlights:

1) He asked her to call him oppa, not samchon(uncle)despite the age gap.

2) He felt funny seeing her sitting next to him after watching her on Cyrano Agency 2 days before.

3) To put her at ease on KRC, he tried to joke around with her, but failed. She was young, rather serious and didn’t understand them.

3) One day on the set she poked him and told him he had a flabby tummy. He disagreed and insisted he is someone who works out. Later that day she found him doing sit ups. He told her it just happened to be his regular daily exercise time slot.

4) The kiss scene was shot on a very cold night at Yoido Park. The scene required him to put his hands to her face. Prior to shooting the scene, Shin Hye saw him rubbing his hands together to warm them up.

5) According to Sang Woo, this was an ambitious drama for Shin Hye not only because of the age factor, but the character she played was much older than her. It was very challenging for her, but she always smiled and worked hard.

6) Shin Hye hopes he will meet someone soon and settle down. A girl who is extroverted would suit him well. MCs suggest how about her. She quickly said no and laughed.

7) Although they do not see each other often, they hear about each other through other fellow actors. Shin Hye refers to him as daddy long legs because she knows that he has inquired about her and kept a watchful eye on her.

8) MCs complement them both for having a good relationship and thank Shin Hye for guesting.

It's confirmed!!! Actress Park Shin Hye and CNBlue's Jung Yonghwa will be costars again in MBC's summer drama "Festival"!

The drama will be taking place at an arts college which focuses on dancing, singing, acting, and literature, and is classified as a ‘mellow campus drama’, detailing the lives of college students.

Park Shin Hye will be playing the role of ‘Lee Kyu Won’, a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family, and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum*(see photo below) Her beauty and cuteness will capture the hearts of many.

Jung Yonghwa will be playing the role of the cold, yet handsome band vocalist named ‘Lee Shin’, who’s known to carry a strong passion for music.

The duo starred in SBS's hit drama "You're Beautiful" (2009) together but they did not end up being a couple in the drama. In "Festival", they will play a sweet, young couple who strive towards their dreams in music.

“Festival” is already gaining much anticipation from the drama industry because of PD Pyo Min Soo’s involvement. Pyo is most famous for his work with “Full House” and “The World They Live In.”

The much anticipated drama will air its pilot episode on June 22 2011.

Korean Hallyu star Park Shin Hye attended Ferragamo fashion show in Singapore yesterday. The friendly actress waved, smiled and signed for fans.

At 7:45pm, Park Shin Hye, accompanied by the CEOs of Italian designer label Ferragamo, appeared in Paragon Atrium. After walking on the red carpet, Park Shin Hye toured around the Ferragamo store, accepted interviews by the local media, posed for photos and watched the fashion show. She was dressed in a summer halter dress designed by Ferragamo.
