Season 2 is planning to have a historical setting including the Joseon dynasty and Japanese occupation. Lee Dong Wook is set to reprise his role as the gumiho. He plays the success-oriented detective Soo Yeol, who puts more emphasis on results. He is an expert at rationalizing things, only putting effort into work that can satisfy his selfish desires. I highly anticipate Lee Dong Wook’s portrayal as detective who isn’t nice, but a bad guy who will stop at nothing if it’s for success and promotion. It's very different from the characters he has acted so far. I have yet to see, so I think I will find it interesting. The poster shows Lee Dong-wook and Wie Ha-joon as part of a frankensteined playing card covered in blood. The caption reads: “Bad guy versus crazy guy!
