umm it's better if you just sing acapella rather than play the song along with you singing because it'd be clearer to hear your voice than the oringal singer :] I don't even know what i'm doing now. i've been slacking off :/

are you guys filming yourself doing the dancing and the singing at the same time, or sending in a CD of you singing and a tape or DVD of you dancing? and if like that, how many songs should you dance to?

im planning on one vid clip of me singing. along with a CD with several more tracks except they're only audio.

and im not dancing

its better to ask in the [Q+A] SINGING TIPS & RECORDING QUESTIONS

but basically you need a recording program

BEST WISHES TO ANYONE SENDING IN THEIR DEMO

Sung a new song:

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=645509&songID=4849762

^Sorry if its soft.

I'm open for comments. =]

nice~ keke

i dunno if its just me but~ i dont think a girl singing a guys song is a good idea~

i dont think this song shows enough of your potential~

this song is kinda low ranged and really geared for middle ranged guys to sing

by listening to your voice i think that you'd sound pretty singing girl songs~

you sound held back throughout a lot of the song

sorry if i was a bit harsh~ >< hope it helped ^^

I see. Harsh comments are better than comments which doesnt mean anything. =]

Girl songs - Okay. I'll try BoA's songs one day.

Holding back - Meaning that I have to release/project my voice more?

its good to have feedback! your optomistic thats good!

girls songsnot necessarily BOA but ye it works

holding back meaning that you need to release your voice and project more just like wat u asked

im listening to it now..

its not great

it doesnt sound like this song suits you

during the versus you can barely reach the notes

you dont have to sing girl songs

but for guy songs pick something you can reach

no problem w/ pitches

it sounds good

just choose a better song

mixing sounds really good also

This is probably a stupid question :sweatingbullets: ..

Umm.. If you audition by email/mail do you have to fill the application form?

The application form has "Year/Date of US Arrival" .. but I live in Canada x__x;

GUYS

i have a dilemma

i was originally going to do O (dbsg)

but i just realized that it's not a very smart idea

sooo

what i was thinking was

1. replace O with MOTO (i already know the choreography..i just have to remind myself)

2. learn O, relearn MOTO and take out one of the guy songs i was going to sing originally

i personally wanna do #2

but if i want to do that,

i need a clear performance of O

(where i can see the dance clearly)

so i can d/l it and learn it

do you guys have one?

^So you are recording yourself dancing? But instead of O you're gonna do MOTO? I know the dance to O....but I wasn't really sure if they wanted to look at the danicng because I thought they weren't looking for dancers. So in total, how many dances should we send them? Dancing is my strong point and I'm practicing on my singing, when I get a song I'll post here and see what you guys say ^^.

i sent in my application and pictures before christmas and they replied asking for more pictures and a sample of my singing~

and i asked them how many songs i should do ~ and they just replied 2 days ago saying 2-3 of my best korean songs

so i still gotta get those samples done >< gahhh it takes so much time.. AND u gotta be in ur best condition.. =___=

I was wondering the same thing for the dancing.

And so before we send in a package to the actual place

we can send them emails first?

Seems like that's what a lot of the people are doing

I'm planning to have 7 songs on a CD (4 kr.1jp.1ch.1en.)

Then on tape I will have my intro, dancing to an ACTUAL dance that I learned, plus me singing a chinese song with piano

is that okay?

no its not a stupid question i have been wondering that too

if you;re in canada here are my suggestions for that part

a) leave it blank or write N/A

B) write Canadian Citizen

seriously i DON'T KNOW but if you want to do it the smart way lol email bros.

i suggest number 2? but are you singing too?

yes they arent relli looking for dancers but lizzie danced and she danced to one song and sent in 2 songs

so i guess you can send in 2 dances and 2 songs to show your dancing range (lol if there is such a word) and go on from there

and yes ur very smart to work on ur singing too! ^^

i sent in my application and pictures before christmas and they replied asking for more pictures and a sample of my singing~

OH THANKYOU! 2-3 korean songs haha okay

that cleared up

who is actually doing more?

I was wondering. When we dance, should we dance the actual dance or just do freestyle?

i think its better to do a mixture...do watever makes them think you are..."WOW"

and thats your answer
